Great book about the church and the people who serve God there. The plot was engaging with some gentle poking at the foibles of a modern church. I have also enjoyed the other books in the series, especially the Old Man and the Tea.
Loved this book! Good writing. You can imagine all the characters as you read along. Recommend!!
Enjoying reading the funny side of the cloth.
Very entertaining, true to life characters. Light hearted reading
When I start reading a book it has to engage me re away or I get bored. This one failed. It lumbered along and never got better. After about 50 pages I gave up. Would not recommend.
Good insight into a young minister’s search for his place in God’s plan.
I almost quit reading this book. It got better but it isn’t the kind of book I could recommend.
