Alaric Schuyler. He’s enigmatic, cocky, and my new brother-in-law.With eyes the color of cerulean blue and a smile so beautifully devious he could entice the devil to do his bidding, I should have known to stay far, far away from him.One night changed everything between us. Tying him and I together in a sordid twist of fateHe’s become the star of my nightmares, always lurking in the shadows.I’ve … my nightmares, always lurking in the shadows.
I’ve become his muse, a possession he won’t let go of.
One esoteric melody at a time, he awakens my demons’.
Lucid dreams and sick fantasies show him being the death of me.
And the more time I spend in a reality where sanity has ceased to exist, I find myself wanting nothing more.

I received an arc for my honest review.
The queen of all things dark, twisted, and delicious has done it again.
Let the mind games begin. In Natalie’s world nothing is ever as it seems. And this was no exception. Catalina is drawn to Alaric even though she knows there’s something sinister about him. Alaric wants Catalina to be his and will twist her reality until he gets what he wants.
This Book does end in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see just how well their demons play together.
All it took was one phone call to change her life.
A sence of duty, with a splash of regret delivered her to his house.
He knew she was his sister in law but that wasn’t important.
He could see the shadows in her eyes, and knew she would be perfect….
Oooohhhh what a delicious read!
I knew it wouldn’t be light and fluffy as Natalie Bennett is known for her darkness and mind games, and that is exactly what this book delivers.
Nothing is as it seems, and I loved that. You have to look beyond the initial images.
Natalie has a unique style that leaves you questioning everything that you just read and this is no exception.
On the surface you have a grieving husband and slightly crazy sister in law, but underneath hidden from plain sight and disguised by masks and manipulation is a dark and dangerous mind!
I for one loved his particular brand of darkness and I cant wait to see more of it!
I felt torn with Catalina. Part of me felt sorry for her but another part of me was rubbing my hands in glee at her spiral.
I clearly didnt do my homework though as when I was reading this it was only at the end that I realised it wasnt a standalone *chuckles*..
But now I’m excited at the prospect of more and can’t wait to find out where this is all going to go…
“ , .”
Wooooowwwww. Everytime I want to question EVERYTHING, I come to Bennett.
My entire mind is blown, and I’m hanging in a place I didn’t think we were going to end up.
Catalina and Alaric are…. something. I don’t know if there’s words for these two, but either way.
Messed up, each in their own beautiful way, they’re coming together can only be one thing. EXPLOSIVE.
I need book 2, immediately, because I have so many emotions right now, and I need answers ASAP.
Like the rest from this author that I’ve read, if you want to be messed with in the most exquisite of ways, read this.
