Two things you should know about me:One: I don’t make mistakesTwo: I’m never going to settle down with one womanI’m the fun brother, the jokester, the one who’s never serious…at least, not until I lose the biggest influence in my life. Now, I’m spiraling out of control, so much so I spent the night after his funeral drowning my sorrows. First, in the bottom of a bottle…then in the body of a … of a bottle…then in the body of a blonde bombshell who looked at me like I could make all her carnal dreams come true.
Spoiler alert: I did.
I don’t remember her name, or what she looked like, but now she’s consuming my every thought. It doesn’t help that my brother hired a brand new intern, one with a banging body and tousled blonde hair that makes me think of her, to be my assistant for the next six weeks.
I spend my days trying not to bend her over my desk and make her mine, and my nights dreaming about the girl who got away.
Everything changes when the secret my sexy intern has been hiding comes out…
I made a huge mistake.

4 Star Review of Oops Baby (Winston Brothers #2) by Stacey Lewis
This was an entertaining story and one I quickly became invested in. This book was previously published as The Baby Mistake and is Ryker and Ava’s story.
Reeling from the death of his father, Ryker goes on a bender and has a passionate one night stand with a beautiful blond. He can’t get her out of his mind, but doesn’t remember her name or anything more other than it was a night so steamy he can’t forget it.
Unbeknownst to him, his brother hires an intern to assist him, Ava and Ryker is attracted to her. He has no memory that she is in fact the woman from the bar.
There was plenty of heat, some suspense and it was good to see some familiar faces. What will happen when Ava’s secrets are revealed? Will the fun loving prankster of the family stand up and do what is right or will he run for the hills?

Chance events can lead to amazing changes. A charming tale of finding love amidst loss, only alcohol interferes. The story centres around Ava, a final year college student about to embark on a rare, paying internship and Ryker, one of 3 brothers mourning the loss of his father. They meet at a bar and sparks fly. Both had more alcohol than what they can handle and after losing her V-card, Ava leaves a sleeping Ryker in the hotel room. In the morning, Ava is nothing more than a dream as Ryker finds out that alcohol kills off a significant number of brain cells in the process. Nevertheless he acknowledges that he was left and as a typical man, used to doing the walking, finds out that it doesn’t have the same ego-bruising effect when the shoe is on the other foot. Come the morning, Ava turns up for work and low and behold, Ryker is her new boss, only, although he notices the beautiful woman, he doesn’t recognise her. I won’t reveal anymore of the storyline , the author had already given a synopsis, but to say that we do get an HEA after a few complications like Ava’s pregnancy. Both are emotionally ready for a committed relationship and the truth always surfaces. The story was very well handled, had a number of interesting turns and all the characters in the book were described and developed well. The dialogues were appropriate, clear, even witty at times. The attraction between Ava and Ryker carried a lot of steam and the accompanying language made it an over 18 read. The book is an easy-to-read page-turner with only minor proofreading errors. I liked this book and would gladly recommend it.

Beautifully written; a solid, interesting, and emotionally deep second chance romance. The storyline is consistent, engaging, flows smoothly, and will grip you from beginning to end. The characters are well-developed and likeable with amazing chemistry between them. Quite an enjoyable read and I strongly recommend reading it.

Ava is celebrating getting a new job with her best friends, while at the bar, she sees a man on the other side of the bar and stares at him for a long time before meeting him face to face.
Ryker has just lost his father and come from his funeral, he wants to lose himself at the bottom of a bottle. Then while at the bar, he sees this beautiful woman across from him. He finally meets up with her and takes her back to him motel and makes love to her. He doesn’t get her name or phone number before they fall asleep. He wakes up to being alone and notices blood on the sheets. He suspects that he took her virginity.
Two weeks later, Ava arrives at her new job, her new boss is her one night stand. Up until then, she had no idea of his name. Now she discovers that he has no idea who she is. He acts like a complete douche to her and she becomes hostile towards him.
They go through a lot of personal things and eventually he discovers she is pregnant with his baby. They go through more conflict until they sort it out and they have their happily ever after and a baby girl.
Loved this story, I laughed and cried with the characters. I would love to read the stories of Rykers siblings and their trials through their romances.
