Book Two of the bestselling Lux series Being connected to Daemon Black sucks… Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems. Something worse than the Arum has come to town… The Department of Defense is … come to town…
The Department of Defense is here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there’s this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that’s possible. Against all common sense, I’m falling for Daemon. Hard.
But then everything changes…
I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them–from me?
No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

Onyx is book 2 in the Lux series and although I spent more than half the book frustrated I couldn’t put it down. Katy annoyed me so much during this book and at times she rode the line of TSTL. First I didn’t like how she continued to tell Daemon that his feeling are only due to the bond and how she didn’t confide in him when she had concerns …
Ooohh yes! Daemon Daemon Daemon!
He is a star in this book. He shows his interests in Katy, but now there is another new kid in the block, and his target is also on Katy.
Katy is going through a lot of changes, but that’s not the only distraction she has.
This is a crazy book and I enjoyed it so much!
I loved this book enough that I read all of the bookstores in the series. The story is predictable at times and very unpredictable at other times. I feel they gave away one of the secrets to soon, but with everything else that happens it makes sense that they would break up the surprises. I wish they would add more to they series.
I love this book and Daemon Black!!! But I rambled enough already about the first book.
Unexpected things happened in this book. At least for me. After Katys near-death experience and being healed by daemon in the first book and what happens after… oh my.. I can’t even …
I think the book is beautifully written. It never gets boring and it’s …

This is the second book in …
I didn’t like this book. It was very hard to get through.
In this second book of the paranormal romance LUX Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, she does a great job of picking up where Obsidian (book 1) left off. More angsty sexual tension awaits along with some emotionally deeper moments and nail-biting action that keeps you turning pages to see how it all turns out. Love and loss and finding the courage …
i love this book and the rest of the series just like the first book Obsidian its About Katy and she doesnt like the fact that she has a crush on Demon but he is still as perverted as ever
If all aliens were easy on the eyes, and strangely both arrogant and caring, then I really don’t think that I would object to an invasion. In other words if there is a group of aliens that are exactly like Daemon, then I would say come on in!
In Obsidian, Daemon was mostly the jerk that we all loved, and we rarely (just like Katy) got to see the …
