Montana Hendrix has found her calling–working with therapy dogs. With a career she loves in a hometown she adores, she’s finally ready to look for her own happily ever after. Could one of her dogs help her find Mr. Right…or maybe Dr. Right? Surgeon Simon Bradley prefers the sterility of the hospital to the messiness of real life, especially when real life includes an accident-prone mutt and … accident-prone mutt and a woman whose kisses make him want what he knows he can’t have. Scarred since childhood, he avoids emotional entanglement by moving from place to place to heal children who need his skillful touch. Can his growing feelings for Montana lead him to find a home in Fool’s Gold, or will he walk away, taking her broken heart with him?

Only Yours is the fifth book in the Fool’s Gold series and oh my gosh this series just keeps getting better and better. I just can’t get enough of this world and it’s amazing characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
This was the first “Fool’s Gold “ book that I read. I enjoyed it so much that I started at the beginning of the series and have read every one of them. Susan Mallery never fails to entertain.
Continuation of previous characters.
Love the characters that are in these books and the struggles are real and the love too!
Perfection! OMG I love Simon so flippin’ much. Now that is a hero. God I wanna just throw him down and rub all over him. Scarred, damaged, angry and hurting. I just wanted to kiss all his boo boos better. To fix him, make him happy. This book was everything I wanted. I loved Montana. She was sweet, funny, and totally accepting of Simon and his …
Great book!!
Another very good, enjoyable, easy-to-read Fool’s Gold story. Nothing earth-shattering but a very nice relaxing read, esrecially when you don’t want to think too hard.
Although it deals with some dark subjects, the light shines through them. There is always a place for a cute dog and a woman with a big heart. I liked the slow change in the main male character’s thoughts and feelings. His humanity was there, but he needed to develop his faith in others.
I love this book with all its twists and turns. Great read. I recommend it to everyone who loves reading a book that you can’t put down. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out, if there is one.
The personality traits that lead Montana to care so deeply about Simon, and her faith in her love for him are endearing. He doubts that anyone can see beyond the scars he has borne for so many years. I was eager for Simon and Montana get together much earlier in the story. I loved the outcome. Getting there was not without bumps along the …
