I was warned… parents by werewolves – I must survive by one rule:
# Rule 1: Never trust the angelic perfection of an Omega
Unlucky for the Oxford coven who call me back home from America, I suck at following rules. When I’m forced to claim three gorgeous British shifter princes from rival Wolf Kingdoms, I can’t help loving and protecting them as pack, even if they hold their own dangerous secrets.
Yet the deeper I tumble into the mysterious world of pretty monsters, the further I spiral into sinister peril.
Am I right to trust an Omega? Has my whole life been a lie?
When my aunt’s cruel coven and the bullying Alphas test my Wolf Charmer powers, I’ll either discover what I’m capable of and who I truly am…
…or I’ll die.

*** EXCERPT***
The werewolf’s lips brushed across mine, and I jolted. “May I caress you…here?”
I nodded, shuddering. He drew circles over my skin, and I heated like he was touching me inside, coiling the pleasure higher.
Lower…please, touch me lower…
When I squirmed to encourage his fingers below the fabric of my ball gown, he chuckled but only continued his maddeningly slow teasing.
“Kiss her neck, prince,” the god ordered; his voice was like winding silk.
The incubus’ eyes sparkled. He was feeding from the order and my pleasure.
My crimson magic burst out to stroke over all three of the men in my bed, whilst I experienced each of their pulsing, panting pleasure.
“Hold the witch’s hands above her head,” the god commanded. “She won’t be able to stay still for what comes next…”

After a decade in America, Crimson has been called home to take her place as the Wolf Charmer. She’s not entirely sure what is involved, only that she needs to choose a perfect Omega wolf to be hers. Crimson, the ever defiant witch, chooses the wolf Moon that was meant for termination. In that thread, Crimson’s character shines through. She’s a gatherer of misfits so to speak, and when she learns she must have 3 wolves in total, we can only imagine the ones she will choose.
In addition, Johns’ has given us two angels as well, and we have a merry band of misfits who, under Crimson, will try their best to do what is right, even if doing what is right isn’t what is expected as they investigate a murder allegedly committed by a wolf. But the whole thing smells fishy and Crimson has a lot on her plate. She must find the murderer, continue to train as the Wolf Charmer, and get out of the sticky situation they’ve landed in.
I wanted to be as vague as possible with my review as to not spoil the book. There is a lot going on, and it would be easy to let something slip. It’s hard to trust anyone in authority in this book, and so we need to rely on Crimson’s ability to steer clear of the lies to get to the bottom of everything. I loved Crimson’s character, she’s strong and assertive, and she’s really funny. This book ended on a cliffhanger, so you should be prepared for that going in. I can only hope that book 2 will follow soon as I am desperate to find out what happens. Very well done!
Crimson Tide is learning what it means to be a Wolf Charmer all the while being a rebel herself with her three charms, a rebel mage and an angel. She’s learning things she didn’t know and having to play a game that she’s not ready for. This is a definite must read.
Only Perfect Omegas by Rosemary Johns
“Control,” I whispered, as the shadows rose and fell in an agitated swell: my powers ached for their Charm . I could taste the Omegas on the other side of the door. I needed them. I’d never felt my Wolf Charmer powers so strongly before. – Crimson
Crimson had lost her parents to a vicious and unprovoked attack by werewolves when she was eleven. Now Crimson has reached her majority, and it’s time to claim her birthright, to embrace her destiny….
“If he wasn’t a wolf — and I’d met him at one of those private parties on yachts or at the tennis club that my cousins loved so much — then he was just the sort that I’d have pinned to the sheets, until I’d dirtied up his sweet innocence. I had to stop thinking of a wolf as a sheep because that’s how you ended up devoured. ” – Crimson
Crimson finds herself confused, aroused, captured… Held captive by her fears, her unspoken dread, her secret demons that she battled as she struggled to become… Become the Crimson Tide: Wolf Charmer.
“The possessive shadows that wound out of me and around Moon, however, at the threat to him, strengthened me, until I at last felt it…the true power of the Wolf Charmer and the reason that these wolves had feared my mom.” – Crimson
Crimson finds herself placed in an untenable position; immediately called upon by her aunt to investigate a gruesome murder that appears to be a wolf attack, Crimson and her Omega are transported to The Wilds: birthplace of her Omega, and where Crimson faces her first (and perhaps greatest) challenge as the Wolf Charmer.
“I was the Wolf Charmer, for whom three kingdoms could be summoned to her party… to sacrifice their princes.” – Crimson
Crimson finds herself embroiled in a quagmire of ancient hatreds, hidebound traditions and twisted values as she struggled to find her way to safety for herself and her wolves. Who says witches and wolves can’t make peace… And love?
Haunting! Riveting! A refreshingly unique tale, with a strong heroine that embarks on a journey of self-discovery and discovers so much more than she expects or hopes for. In a reality that honors and exalts only the female, the males are rebels, with a female rebel leading them. Strong secondary characters that support Crimson on her journey, and grow along with her. Highly recommend to everyone!
Wow I didn’t think that anything could be better than Rosemary’s last series. But this series is absolutely epic!!! I loved it and I could not put it down. Meet the Rebel Werewolves, they are beautiful, sexy as sin and never underestimate them. Crimson Tide is the last of her kind a witch whose magic can control wolves. Her parents were killed by werewolves and the one rule for her is….. never trust an Omega!!
She is called back to Oxford by her coven. Little does the coven know, she doesn’t follow rules. When she claims three British shifter princes, she falls in love with them. The farther she gets into the shifter world, the more she begins to question. Her biggest question is has everything been a lie? Can she love and trust an Omega?
This book is just amazing. It hooks you right off the bat and you won’t be able to put it down until your finished. Then I was already wondering about the next book. I also loved that Rosemary put in one of my favorite characters from the previous series into this series!!!!! No spoilers here you have to read it to find out who!
This books was full of action, love, enemies steamy sex, hope, despair and what a ride!! Jump on in for an amazing thrill ride. You will not forget these sexy wolves any time soon. They are what dreams are made of!!!!!

Cliffhanger
This would have been a five star, but I hate cliffhangers. I can’t wait to see what happens next. But I can’t afford the next one. I’m crying now.
The narrative brings the story to life.
For those that want to know if I’d listen again, yes I would.
This audio book was given to me for free at my request from the publisher or author or narrator and I provided this unbiased voluntary review.
Johns really knows how to kick off a series, once again (her Rebel Academy #1 did this too) sucking me in within minutes. I also couldn’t help but notice the excellent writing.
And in typical Johns fashion, there is more to love here than I could ever list! But I’ll give it a go:
Vengeance.
Cross-species rivalry.
Family drama.
Bullies.
Strong/resourceful heroine.
Laugh-out-loud moments.
Witty characters (often of the raunchy sort ).
Wolves.
Witches.
Extremely dramatic/exciting chapter endings—every time!
Set in Oxford
Mischief (IYKYK)
Magic
Epic world-building.
So many twists and turns.
Audiobook—narrator is great! Very smooth reader. At times, there was a bit of buzzing in the background, but it was always over within a few seconds and only mildly distracting. Music plays at the end of each chapter—very cool in theory, but it drowned out the narrator, as it played over her. Overall, it’s a good way to spend 25+ hours.
Overall:
4-star story.
5-star performance.
3.5-star production.
Epic.
Crimson returns from America to take up position as The Wolf Charmer in a magical world of Witches and Wolves. She realises she has more enemies than friends and some are out to get her from set go. She is given 3 Wolf princes who she has to train but not get close to or to trust but she goes against what she is told. She soon realises their are witches in her coven that don’t want peace between the witches and wolves and it’s up to her and her mates to end this war and bring total peace once and for all. I enjoyed Erin Mc Garry’s narration this is a first listen by her .
This is completely different than most paranormal and shifter book and its sooo good!!!. Crimson was brought up away from the Coven not knowing that she was a Witch or even that she was a Wolf Charmer. So after moving from the States to Oxford in the UK and suddenly becoming Rich with a large house she realises that she has also inherited a cruel and sadistic family.
Follow her storey in this book and see how she grows, rips up teh rule book and finds herself and her purpose.
Brilliant Read!
I have this in audiobook and loved it. Fantastic and wonderful characters also.
This is the first book of a 3 book story series.Yes you heard me.This series is a 3 book story, and it is AMAZING and WONDERFUL.Numerous times I came to tears over this groups story. If you want a happily ever after, then this is a must read.
I received this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This book has one shocking surprise after another. The characters are arresting and the storyline will draw you in fast with witches and werewolves
This was the first book that I’ve read by Rosemary Johns, and I’m pretty sure I’m hooked! I absolutely loved reading this story. This book is full of all the good stuff you’d want while reading a book: love, adventure, mystery, action, humor, and the steamy bits, and awesome characters. Crimson is such a great main character. She’s somewhat of a rebel and ignores rules as she makes ones of her own. Although her duty is to take in 3 wolf charges and control them, she ends up loving them and protecting them instead. Crimson has such a large heart and the ability to love and show compassion to those around her, even the boy that helped bully her when she was younger. Her “omegas” are each unique in their own way and we learn as we read there is more to them than anyone, even their packs, knows. Rebels in their own way, they are sure to be able to stir things up with Crimson and perhaps make the world that they live in more acceptable to wolves and witches alike. Who knows what they are capable of?
This series is addictive! Seriously, grab book one and tell me if you could put it down… 🙂
(And then grab the next two. Mad Rebel love!)
The tale of Crimson and her pack just keeps getting better!! Another page turning installment. I honestly can’t wait for the next in the series!
Brilliant story excellently crafted!
Only Perfect Omegas
Great characters and what an intriguing start to this series, lots of questions raised but very few answered yet
I could not put this book down! I fell in love with the entire story and the characters, and connected with them as well. Definitely a must read!
Well this is a different book to read. This book definitely put me through a loop. So we have Crimson who is being called home by her Aunt to take her place as a wolf charmer. What is that? Well someone who can control a wolf. She has great powers and just has to figure out how to wield them. So the way the omega’s are treated is awful but Crimson does not want to treat her wolves that way. She rebels the ways that some things take place. So as she is figuring out how to do that, she also has to figure out a murder. There is a war between witches and werewolves. Will she figure out who is the murderer? Will she change how the omegas see her? Can she protect them as well as herself? Will she able to figure out the truth of the wolf charmer?
Overall the book is intense, the chemistry with the characters is hot and unpredictable.
***This is an advanced readers copy***
I did like this book. I just thought the whole sex thing was way over the top. It was more that all anyone could think about was getting with someone else. They also don’t care what gender you are, which really isn’t a problem. I just couldn’t figure out who Crimson was suppose to be with, all of them, some of them, none of them? This book also ends on a cliff-hanger. I would continue with the series as it did intrigue me enough.

Title: Only Perfect Omegas
Author: Rosemary A. Johns
Genre: Fantasy/Paranormal Reverse Harem
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
First I have to say I liked the idea of the whole women in charge idea and the Omegas were the guys. That being said I hate how everyone but this one girl are all Alpha-holes. Sure that is how they are raised, their culture, etc… but someone other than males have had to express their displeasure over male treatment before now. Not just non-magicals.
Next, reverse harem? Okay so she claimed all these guys. So what? The guys are more interested in each other than her. Only once does any of the guys actually act truly interested in being with her but sex doesn’t happen. As for love…don’t expect it in this book.
There is little connection between characters and truly you never feel an in depth connection as a reader. I will say the character Aquilo, his behavior and storyline remind me of a book I read before. I can’t remember the name of that book but when we meet Aquilo in the story it was like Dejavu. Not saying the author stole ideas or anything. This stuff happens.
Overall I give it a 3/5 stars. It does end on a cliffhanger and I am not sure I will read book two.
