Ava must make the decision to accept her royal role or turn her back on the monarchy and indulge the forbidden romance. However, if Henry can uncover answers to secrets from the past, they may have a shot at a future together.
Time is against them along with a distant relation, vying for the crown, and it’s up to the unlikely couple to fight for their relationship or say goodbye forever.
This is book 4 in the Only Us Billionaire Romance series. Each book stands alone but reading them in order provides a deeper, richer experience. It is a sweet, “clean and wholesome” romance without swearing or mature content and contains a HEA.

Modern Day Royal Romance
This is not a bad story if you like modern-day royals and clean romance. This book is part of a series that shares characters and setting, but all of the books can stand alone. I received this book from a freebie site and this is my honest opinion.
Second chance for childhood sweethearts
I really like Ellie Hall’s writing. This book is pretty much a fairy tale. It is completely improbable fantasy and very fun to read. Plus two of my favorite tropes: second chance, and friends to more.

First love, lost love, broken hearts, loyalty, royal expectations, this story has them all. Ellie Hall really gives us highs and lows in this book. Will Henry and Ava be allowed to be together or is an arranged royal marriage in her future. You will be unable to stop reading until you find out the answer. Loved this one.
I was given an advanced copy of this book. Opinions given are my own.
Princess Ava is forced to marry husband of royal blood by the end of the month or she will become a commoner and lose all rights to her brother’s throne. Henry Park was her best friend growing up and she thought they would run away together. Instead he left her waiting for him while he was recruited as a spy. His dying father is a commoner and the head baker for the royal family. Henry came back to say goodbye when he tells him to marry his true love and gives him the name of woman. Ava thinks this woman his father mentioned is his mother and of royal blood. Super spy Henry immediately dismisses this and doesn’t want to look into it when it could be solution to Ava’s problem and they would both get to marry their true loves. The potential suitors Ava is provided with are ridiculous and I couldn’t believe that her guardian thought they were true candidates for her hand unless she already knew about Henry.
Princess Ava and commoner Henry were childhood sweethearts. On the night that they planned to meet and run away, Henry never arrived. Now, ten years later, he arrives back at the castle, on the day that Ava is told that she must marry royalty within a month or forfeit her title as princess. This means she would ask forfeit her life at the castle with her family.
I enjoyed the abiding love of these two star-crossed lovers. Their story is as decadent as the cookies that Henry’s dad used to bake.
