I enjoyed this book, don’t remember details but it was very enjoyable.
I absolutely loved this book. It was my first Rebecca Drake novel, and I got caught right up and whisked away and enjoyed every twist and turn and reveal, and the fabulous closure at the end as well. At some points in the book I found myself aloud saying these exact words, “Yes, thank you for making this happen,” and, “I love it, I love it,” and things like that. I have read several thrillers lately, and this was one of the best. There were even a couple of quotables I was able to write down in my “Keepers” notebook, just a few phrases and sentences that explained things so perfectly about life, I wanted to keep them to look back on and ponder. She did a great job. I don’t know what her other books are like, but I was impressed by this one and had a good time reading. I’m so glad she wrote it!
Another winner from a great suspense writer. Don’t miss this one!
Ok book, not a favorite one.
It was an interesting read…parts of it were somewhat predictable though.
Outstanding plot twists keep you guessing. Things are not what they seem to be at the beginning of the story. Depicts the lengths a mother will go to in order to protect her child.
Liked this book very much. I did have to suspend my “reality” filter a little, but in the end, very entertaining. I normally figure out things very early in the book, but this one had me guessing till the end.
I usually like a good mystery but for me this was just ok. It seemed as if it was like so many I had read. I had to push my way through it but I do think this author has potential.
This was a suspense book, but I had it figured out 39 pages in. I ended up skipping the middle and jumping to the end to see if I was right, and the aftermath.
I liked the writing style, and thought the book was an interesting idea. The fact that it revolved around a preschooler is what messed me up, and I couldn’t read anymore. Kids in pain and parents loosing them are the stuff of nightmares for me so I just couldn’t go thru that torture 🙁
A haunting story of child abduction which is scary and action-packed.
I found the book entertaining with interesting and plot with nice twist at the end.
Enjoyed reading this book in one sitting. I needed to know if the little girl was safe in the end so I had to keep reading.
Already did this!
I loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I got so annoyed with the authorities, but of course they didn’t have the information I, as the reader, had. It was well written and compelling and I enjoyed it a lot.
Horrilble people and language. Use our vast vocabulary more.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Kept my interest all the way through.
A kidnapped child with a different twist. Very good, hard to put down. Smart little girl.
Great book. Very well told
Enjoyed twisted ending. Never saw it coming
So well plotted out and well written, I enjoyed this book!
