This is hard! First off, 4 stars because the timeline is messed up in places. Parts could have been taken out to fix it. Nothing huge. This was a pretty quick read because I just could not put it down!
Now for all the touchy stuff. CHEATING, yes this book is full of it! Reese is a hypocrite, but loves 2 guys. She just learned that they were brothers. OUCH! Just when you think cheating can’t get any worse. Her heart is split, there are alot of things going on here stopping her from coming clean. It ends with another huge cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book 3 to come out in 20 days!
Ugh….why did you do that to us Lisa Suzanne? I thought I would be closer to knowing who Reese would be choosing, but no….we have to wait. Again!! All kidding aside, this book was fantastic!! I seriously could not put it down once I started it. And I think I’m as conflicted as Reese is as to whether she should choose Mark or Brian. The way the relationship is written between the two brothers, it’s hard to know which one is telling the truth (or the closest version anyhow). But, the passion and intensity Reese feels with Mark is incredible….yet, I really wish she would have waited to give into that until officially breaking it off with Brian (if in fact that’s what she wants). So much drama…..and yet it’s not enough. Can’t wait for book 3 to hopefully get all the answers!!
This is The 2nd book of the series & all I can say is wow! These two books have completely consumed me! It picks up right where the first book left off. Once again, Lisa has sucked me into her stories & I have fallen in love with the characters & their world! In the beginning, I was definitely Team Brian, but when I saw a different side of Mark, I became Team Mark! I can definitely relate to Reese in certain situations! I couldn’t put this book down! I had to know what was gonna happen next! Reese had one heck of a summer! Oh to be Reese for a day! That ending though! omg! wow! so many thoughts & feelings about that ending! You’ll just have to read to find out!! Two hot men who happen to be brothers; One a sexy but sweet Rockstar, The Other a sexy businessman! This series now holds a special place in my heart! I Love it so much! It makes my heart happy! Can’t wait to see how this series ends!
Everyone needs to read these books! #TeamMark
5 ROCK stars! Be prepared for a read that will drain you. A love triangle you must not miss.
I don’t know how to start my review I am all messed up in a pretty good way. After reading “Only ever you” I am drained and confused. I start to understand that the thing about triangle loves is quite complicated. It is like all your energy is drained.
The difficulties about loving two men at the same time are consuming. I have a feeling that Lisa Suzanne is playing with my mind because the first book in the series “A little like destiny” left me with a big cliff-hanger. I was so desperate to read more about the triangle formed by Reese, Mark and Brian. I wanted and still want to know who Reese will chose Mark or Ryan. To choose one of the Fox brothers is the big deal. If you were Reese who will you choose: A hot rock star or a cocky business man? Do no answer this question until you finish reading “Only ever you”.
I literally devoured this book. As the first book, this one carries on with an original plot. The evolution of the characters is a show you do not want to miss. Decisions will be made and hearts will be broken.
Reese is torn between two lovers but her heart only wants one. I can’t judge her because if I were her I will be tormented and guilt will eat me complete. There is not right thing to do just to be honest. Honesty is the key. (Whispers *please Reese pick Mark*)
“I can’t be a pawn in the game between the two of you.”
What can you do when something that is wrong feels so good? Betraying your boyfriend with other man. That should mean something. When you love sincerely you do not cheat. You only have eyes for your lover. That makes me think that Reese doesn’t love Brian as much as she loves Mark.
“I needed to tell you in person that you’re my every waking thought. You’re the air I breathe. You’re somehow in my blood, a venom infecting my body… I can’t stay away.”
I feel like something is missing here and I am sure we will discover it in the next book of the series. I am a confessed member of team Mark. Who does not fall for sexy rock stars? Sorry girls I am a weak woman.
“He fills me completely. He’s not just filling my body with his—my heart is full. My mind is full. My limbs are weightless because we’re one now, and for the first time in my life, I’m positive that no other connection could ever be this powerful. No one else has ever loved like this.”
Reese is quite confused about her feelings. In one hand she has her first crush, a rock star love. One night was enough to feel the deep connection with Mark. In the other she has a secure port, Brian. Who to choose?
Falling deep for one and not wanting to break the other’s heart. To protect one and to hurt the other. Fate will chose for Reese. She will play with fire and she will be burn.
“Karma is going to come back and get me, I just know it. I don’t deserve happiness. I don’t deserve Mark or Brian. Yet here I am.”
As I said before this book drained me because it has many elements that make it emotional and witty. These characters have stolen a piece of me. I can’t wait to know how it will end. Cliff-hanger alert!
“We’ve both made mistakes, but we can leave those mistakes behind us and move forward. Together.”
I highly recommend you this book. I urge you to start the series, you won’t be disappointed. Lisa Suzanne never disappoints her reader. She always put her hearth in her writing. This time she delivers a mind blowing triangle love. Something that is unusual and original.
This book picks up where book one leaves off.
When Reese wakes up, Brian has left on business to Germany. She dressed quickly grabs her stuff to make a quick get away from Mark. Too bad he’s sitting out there drinking a beer waiting for her and it’s on! This part of the story is intense AF, he tells her he’s in love with her. She confesses she has feelings for him and wants him more then Brian. I’m not sure about this guy, what brother would do such a hurtful thing to his younger brother? And I still don’t know what went on with Kendra. As I continue to read I’m more and more mistrustful of Mark and Brian. Vail Tail! That just kept playing in my head and not in a savory way.
So tragedy strikes and Mark has to go home to Chicago and he takes Reese with him. He knows his brother will meet them at his apartment so he puts Reese and his brother in the guest room. Again I get that perv vibe because it’s two brothers this lady is doing.
I just finished this book and all I have to say is WOW!! My heart is beating fast and I can’t believe this book ended. All I can say is thank God book three is ready and waiting for me to read. This is definitely a five star read and I highly recommend it.
What the what????
Really, really good but my heart is pounding out of my chest right now with the events of this 2nd book in this confusing and emotional love triangle. What a messy, heartbreaking rollercoaster, all the way around and just when you think you MIGHT know what’s going to happen, you just don’t! There needs to be some serious sense slapping here and there, you’ll find out who. The ending is O.M.G., a killer. Please just give me ‘destiny’…can anything be resolved here without pieces of broken hearts strewn everywhere? Not sure how L.S. is going to make that happen, but I’m sticking with her and going to find out! I have to get to the next book right now, hope things end the way I want them to and I get the happy ending that I am wishing for! Oh, my heart!
“I can’t. It’s you. Only ever you.”
Christ on a cracker…someone hold me. Well written cliffhangers are so fabulously evil.
When they rip your heart out and smash it into pieces and you are still begging for more, the author has done their job. I still don’t even know who I want to come out victorious on the other side. I usually can pick a side easily, but this time just when I think I know, I question myself.
Can there be a true winner?
Who’s heart will be shattered?
I cannot even begin to lay all of my feelings out there because it would ruin the angst, but trust me when I say that Lisa Suzanne has NAILED the love triangle.
“You’re the air I breathe. You’re somehow in my blood, a venom infecting my body.”
This story what is there to really say besides I’m completely blown away. That ending has left my hbead spinning. Lisa has done an amazing job with writing it. I personally can’t wait to see what she does to book 3. My heart goes out to Reese how do you pick between 2 that you love. She doesn’t come off as my favorite character and I think its the fact that she seems to be leading Brian on instead of just letting him go regardless. I just can’t get the ending out of my head the shock factor is through the roof. Im hooked on this story and crave and wanted more I was for sure upset when it ended, you can just feel that there is more. Lisa wrote this story where you can feel every characters emotions on the pages just coming to life. It’s amazing to read and have come to life right before your eyes. Definitely a MUST READ, everything about this story draws you in and hooks you from page one especially when the story picks up where book 1 left off at. The pace of the story is great and not fast but not slow either really keeps you turning the pages. The one person POV is also great no bouncing around between characters but at the same time you can really feel what the characters are feeling and are thinking on every page. This is a page turner, head spinning, jaw dropping, edge of seat reader that you don’t want to miss out on.
