An Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestseller. It has been a year since Brooke escaped to the lovely coastal community of Amesport, Maine, where no one knows her real name or what she’s been through. We go back to Amesport, Maine in Only a Millionaire. This a sexy little novela is book 6.5 in the Sinclair series. If you have been reading the Sinclair series you have been waiting for Liam Sullivan’s story and Jan does not disappoint. If you have not started the series you can read this book first although in my opinion it’s always better to start at the beginning. J.S. Scott is an amazing author you will not be sorry.
Liam Sullivan is the sexy but moody owner of Sullivan’s Steak and Seafood restaurant in Amesport. Liam has been extra broody over the last year fighting his attraction to his employee Brooke. He thinks Brooke is unattainable and its driving him crazy.
Brooke moved to Amesport a year ago fleeing the West Coast after a tragedy. Brooke has had to lay low and not draw attention to herself so she has had to lie to the one man that has gotten under her skin. Will Liam forgive her for lying and be willing to move forward or will he hold it against her. The time has come for Brooke to go back home which send Liam into the realization that he doesn’t want to be without her. Can he convince Brooke to stay?
Liam and Brooke have excellent chemistry, it’s a steamy little read with a twist thrown in….
It was about time these two finally got together. They deserved their happiness. I was wandering how the series would continue, my gosh, daddy Sinclair had strong swimmers. What’s that make, eleven? Total ass, great gene pool.
A really sweet romance with a surprise. Liam and Brooke have a great professional relationship while they both secretly wish for a personal one. But, there are secrets and lies that keep them uncertain about their future.
Liam and Brooke are done denying the potent and powerful chemistry that has been existed between them since they laid eyes on one another so watch out Amesport! Liam thought he was just doing Evan a favor by giving the Sullivan’s vacant waitress position to his friend of a friend. The minute Brooke walked in the door he knew he was Screwed with capital S. Everything about her draws him in and believe you me he tried his best for the better part of a year to hold her at arm’s length. Between their age gap, her transient status, his past demons, and oh did he mention she got this absentee boyfriend – there are bookoo reasons to stay away. When she drops her bomb about going back to Cali though it’s like all those reason evaporate and he’s helpless to continue denying his desires any longer. Brooke has been sudo in love with Liam Sullivan since she came to Amesport, but if there’s one thing you need to do when you’re hiding out it’s lay low. She promised her brother Noah and his friend Evan she wouldn’t breathe to a soul her true identity. Which puts her in a pretty sticky wicket when it comes to Liam. Hence why he thinks she’s some secret Miss with a jerk Boyfriend. But it’s probably better this way, cause giving into her desires for Liam would only end in heartbreak when it’s time to go back to her reality…right?
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
lots of hot sex but with a good story
Not as good as Ms Scott’s previous Billionaire stories but entertaining.
Great character development. Love this series.
I love the Sinclairs and hope there will be more since the ending of this story brought some surprised Sinclairs that would make things a lot more interesting. But this is the story of Brooke and Liam which we’ve heard about in the previous stories and we now get to find out what’s been going on with these 2, if anything.
Brooke and Liam are attracted to each other and has admitted their attraction but Liam won’t do anything about it since he’s under the impression that Brooke has a boyfriend. Brooke, knowing that her stay in Amesport and her job working for Liam would be temporary so she didn’t want to correct Liam’s assumption. Brooke has been in Amesport for a year now and it looks like it is time for her to leave and go back to her life out on the West coast. She gives Liam her 2 weeks notice which Liam initially refuses to accept but then decides that he wants to spend time with Brooke during her last 2 weeks here. The two of them open up to each other about their personal life and their past and we get to understand Brooke’s situation. Brook and Liam quickly realizes their attraction is more than just physical and Liam thinks that they might have a future together.
Brooke finds out some shocking information and she is not sure how to re-act and Liam races to her side to help her figure things out. The various Sinclairs’ make cameos in this story and it’s fun to find out what some of them have been up to!
This is such a great read with some unexpected things at the end. Great story!
This is the final story in the Amesport Sinclair’s saga. Brooke and Liam have had feelings for each other from the beginning. Neither one wanting to admit it.
Brooke has had strong feelings for Liam since she came to Amesport. She felt she could never act on them since she was keeping something from Liam and felt it wasn’t fair.
Liam hired Brooke to work for him as a waitress and she also does the books. He knows things are off since she seems over qualified for her position. He is unsure what is going on but is determined to find out.
Brooke finds out that it is safe to go home. She has been here for reasons only known to a select few. Unbenounced to her she ends up having the tables turned on her once she comes clean with her secrets and is blindsighted with another secret that will change everything! ut will it be for the better? Brooke goes back home to meet her family that she has missed so long and regroup and decide what her next steps. There she her siblings give her input and tell her what she should do. Liam follows her to California to be there for her and help her with her new knowledge so she is not alone anymore.
I’ve read all of these books on the series and to not give anything away I am THRILLED with this ending and cant wait. Another fabulous story.
Millionaire, Billionaire and Trillionaire. Only Author J.S. Scott can keep writing these beautiful stories for readers to fall in love with.
I have always been a huge fan of The Sinclair Series and in my opinion each story just keeps getting better. This one is definitely a personal favourite.
Liam may only be a millionaire as the title suggests, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a man with a heart of gold and is as stubborn as they come. He was always there for his sister, Tessa, and there is no doubt in my mind he’ll be there for Brooke.
Liam has been led to believe that Brooke has a boyfriend. He has kept his distance for so long it’s become normal between them. No friendship just a working relationship that has worked well up until now. When Brooke announces that she will be returning home it prompts Liam to take action.
As Brooke’s story unfolds we hear some very interesting facts. Her whole life is about to change. Well, it already had a year ago, but she now has other issues in her life that she will need to deal with. With the help from Evan Sinclair, Brooke is about to face something her whole family already knew.
It’s always a pleasure to find out what the other Sinclair’s are up to. I like that Author J.S. Scott brings her past characters into her current stories. It brings everything full circle.
The Sinclair’s family continues to grow with each new story that unfolds, and this pleases me greatly. I’m looking forward to the next book release in this series.
A fantastic addition to the series and wonderful transition to more, more, MORE!
I absolutely LOVE J.S. Scott novels and novellas! When she introduced Liam a few books back I thought to myself “Oh please tell me you’ll be giving us more on him later!!” He is such a loving, brooding, hard working man and I just knew his story would be greatness. Brooke is such a quiet sweetheart with secrets to hide and a heart that needs some serious healing. And when these two connect – wow! JS Scott weaves such wonderful tales full of layers, romance and tons of heart. And, thanks to a fantastic twist, MORE BOOKS TO COME! I am forever a fan!
4 stars
So good! Now we know where the West Coast Sinclairs come from. Liam has had the hots for Brooke since she went to work for him but he has been convince she had a boyfriend and was too young for him. She has had a secret, she doesn’t have a boyfriend and has basically been hiding out in Amesport. Now she cannot take it any longer and neither can Liam and finally they come together. Now, with all the lines blurred, Brooke tells her story and they take the next two weeks to really get to know each other. That is all good until Liam comes home from a day trip to find Brooke gone back to California. With the truth out, now we really get to see how everything really spins and it all is perfect! Definitely a great way to end up and great way to move on to the new series.
This book was amazing. I guarantee you will love it just as much as I did. You can never go wrong with a J.S. Scott book.
Love this series as they are all lovable people with normal hang-ups that have you rooting for them!
This books was okay. Definitely not my favorite book I. This serious but it was terrible. It just didn’t catch my attention. Will I still read other books in his wearied…yep. But this one was just an okay read for me.
