From USA Today bestselling author Amanda Siegrist comes an exciting, edge-of-your-seat romantic suspense that has a sassy heroine and lots of love.Someone thinks they can hurt her. Think again.Dee O’Malley isn’t naïve enough to think she’ll ever find love. Men never stick around. Ever. Not even a relationship with sweet, shy Sauer would last. But it’s oh so tempting to start one, especially when … so tempting to start one, especially when his kisses insist it’s possible. That doesn’t mean his kisses will stop her from finding the bastard who attacked her, something that riles him up. Besides, he’s adorable when he gets upset. And she can’t resist that.
When it comes to women, shy and awkward are Detective Sauer’s middle name. And, well, the woman he wants to ask out is the exact opposite—loud and crazy. He can’t seem to form coherent words when Dee’s near. The minute she’s attacked and he realizes the evidence is connected to one of his murder cases, his shyness evaporates. Nothing will stop him from protecting her. Except maybe Dee herself.
Warning: This novel contains a sexy detective. There is insta-love. But it’s book three so you probably know that already if you read the first two. wink Happy reading!

Touch of crazy may be understating the crazy in this book. I realize it’s a very serious book but these friends when not solving crimes are a hoot. Between matchmaking going wrong, cops trying to keep their women happy, his tied up tongue and his red head woman (who drives him crazy) I can’t tell you how much I chuckled and laughed out loud. Dee makes him all kinds of crazy and brings a side out that no one else sees. These two are the perfect opposites attract in how they complement and complete each other, it’s hysterical. I love this author and the range of emotions she will take you through in her reads from laughing out loud to holding my breath waiting for . . . that’s what keeps me coming back. This series is a hoot while it also gives you her endearing side with suspense, thrills and action. Dee is going to have to teach Sauer to use his words since when she’s around he loses them. Then again if you ask her his words are always the right ones. They are crazy cute, she’s a lotta crazy and together they are crazy in love.
I read the first two books in the series in one day, so I was not going to wait for this one, One Taste of Crazy by Amanda Siegrist. As I had read along and got to know the ladies better through each book, I began to relate to Dee more and more. She’s sassy, outspoken and loyal to her besties, Zoe and Rina. Beware those who mess with them.
I think this is my favorite, because I can relate to Dee, more so than Zoe and Rina.
And Sauer…aw…he is so darn cute and sweet. It’s funny how neither feels they are worthy of the other.
Going on a date was a no go. He was too adorable of a guy for a girl like her. She’d break him…
He is shy, quiet, and gets tongue tied around her. You know you gotta watch out for the quiet ones. Still waters and all.
Now that Zoe and Rina are hooked up and happy, they want Dee to be the same. Playing matchmaker is harder that it looks, but they think Sauer is the perfect guy for her. So many things go wrong along the way.
She is attacked in her home and it is Sauer to the rescue. The romance is on…
The humorous writing kept me smiling through the danger that stalked her. A serial rapist, a murderer, has his sights set on Dee, and danger threatens her, and those close to her.
Amanda Siegrist got me good in One Taste of Crazy. I enjoyed the other stories, but something about this one has sure got me going. Must be the characters, especially Dee. I find it so easy to relate to her. I feel like all the characters are now my friends and I am so happy I will be back with them, and Stitch and Susan in One Taste of Sin. I am super excited about Stitch and Susan, and when you meet him, you will know why.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of One Taste of Crazy by Amanda Siegrist.

Read the remaining books of the series too! Just as fun and loving as the first.
Interesting story line with intense mystery but funny at the same time. Enjoyed that the hero in the story was a shy guy.
I think Dee’s character is what pushed me from four to five stars –
A suspenseful romantic thriller that will leave you wanting more of the men of St. Cloud
I was absolutely captivated by the characters in this book -Siegrist has a way of grabbing you and dragging you in so you forget the world outside of the pages.
Sauer is a homicide detective, he is tough and has no qualms doing what is necessary to get the job done – off the clock though he seems to have a shift in confidence when it comes to the opposite gender and especially the one woman he has coveted above all others- Dee
Dee is that girl – the heartless bitch that few truly understand and even fewer tolerate –
She does not need a man, she is fine with one night or an occasional friend with benefits – she is independent, strong and so completely lost –
Until Sauer finds his way in and she finds her way out –
I have not read the previous two books yet -I received this copy as an ARC -I am going to remedy that problem right away – and I look forward to the next book in this series.
HEA can be read as a Stand Alone
