“AM Hargrove strikes romantic gold once again. Five stars aren’t enough!” Harloe Rae, USA Today and Amazon Top 20 bestselling authorThe line between love and hate has never been so explosive.I’d been dreading my flight back to the U.K. after a much needed visit home.Meeting Alessandro made the trip a hell of a lot better. He was sexy. Gorgeous. Italian. A professor.Exactly what I needed to forget … Gorgeous. Italian. A professor.
Exactly what I needed to forget the constant ache in my chest.
We lost ourselves in one another during those long hours in the air.
He was a dream come true.
Or so I thought.
Professor McJerk had changed from the man I’d met on the plane.
This cold, arrogant, and rude version introduced a new level of torture into my life.
We became archenemies as insults flew between us.
But a chink in my armor appeared in the form of a three-foot mini version of the man I’d grown to despise.
Alessandro’s son was his complete opposite.
In no time at all, I was wrapped around his pinkie.
Too bad that didn’t change my feelings toward his father.
Until I discovered Alessandro wasn’t exactly who he portrayed himself to be.
Someone else was buried beneath his rude façade.
When the real Alessandro emerged, so did the passion.
Sometimes the greatest love stories are the result of the greatest tragedies.
Ours certainly was.

Piper & Alessandro made a beautiful read. These two had so much pulling them together that you know they will get together the big question is when it’s going to & how hot will it be!! The chemistry was so hot & written so great that you can feel it as your reading. I know Piper seemed to get herself into a lot of predicaments, but seriously was over it & brutality of it all! Even with parts I didn’t love within this book kept me hooked from the beginning.
I recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
The second book in the West sisters series does not disappoint. I loved the unique storyline and twists the author put into Piper’s story. It had everything from suspense, second chances, romance and of course the laughter and the hot scenes involving characters we have grown to love in this series. Gabriele stole the show in this story for me and I fell in love with this boy and of course his father. One series you do not want to miss because it’s fantastic and one you will certainly enjoy.
I have read hundreds of books, but none have surprised me quite like One Shameless Night by A.M. Hargrove. This story is part of the West Sister’s series but like the others is a stand alone read. I was floored by the unique story line and the “suspenseful surprises” that happened were unpredictable and refreshing. The three West sisters each have their story and I am looking forward to reading One Blissful Night. Great characters that are well written and kept me enthralled through the whole story One Shameless Night is a page turner, romantic, steamy and lots of drama. 5-stars for One Shameless Night.
Piper West has an unusual encounter with a stranger on her flight back to the UK. Almost joining the mile-high club has left Piper wishing that the gorgeous man on the plane had asked for her number, but the next day she realizes that her longing was unwarranted. Alessandro Balotelli turns out to be Piper’s new professor and the sparks are about to fly in the classroom. Alessandro couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful girl he flew to the UK with but once he sees her in his class, he knows he must shut down any feeling he might have had or it could cost him his job. Piper is like no other woman he has met and his attraction to her sets off a side of him that she couldn’t have seen coming. Things quickly escalate and not for the better with these two on solid ground, but can they work past their One Shameless night in order to keep Piper safe?
Piper has one semester left abroad. She needs to focus and graduate so she can get back home to be near her family. Alessandro wants to protect his young son.
When these two have an encounter on a flight, they have no idea the drama and suspense that will come their way.
I love love love this book!!! Piper’s quirkiness and sassy attitude will keep you on your toes. Alessandro’s devotion to his son will have you all swooning. Full of drama, suspense, passion, and humor, you will fall head over heels for these characters and their emotionally beautiful journey!

This was a hard fight to get to this rating (for me) but it did get there in the end and I really did end up enjoying it.
To start, I have enjoyed all the other books that are connected to this one – the West Brothers and now the West Sisters – so I was quite excited to start this book. But it wasn’t quite what I was expecting and I found it quite difficult to find my groove with the story. The first 1/4 – 1/2 of the book felt like the dialogue was stilted and a bit forced. I just don’t know how to describe it but that’s how it felt. I thought this story was doomed! However I stuck with it and was glad I did as it got a MUCH better flow and I started to like the characters a lot.
By halfway through I was definitely invested in finding out how everything was going to turn out – romance and mystery-wise… So if you feel the same, please stick with it as by the end I was rooting for Piper and Alessandro and sweet little Gabriele to get their HEA and of course I wasn’t disappointed!
A trans Atlantic flight becomes so much more for Piper when she becomes over freindly in the back of the plane with her seatmate, Alessandro. And low and behold he ends up being the professor in one of her classes. The connection between the two ends up being so much more, but when skeleton’s from his past come into the picture will this hurdle be too much to overcome? Or will instant passion and instant connection solidify a new beginning for them both? I fell in love with this couple from the plane ride and with each chapter I became more invested in their story. A.M. Hargrove creates true to life characters that flow through passion and emotion very easily. Book 2 was even better than book 1 in this series and both are recommended very highly.
I do enjoy this series a lot. This is the second book in the series. It has layers to the book. I will laughing one minute and crying the next. This book was very emotional for me. The characters go through a lot during this book which makes the ending all the more sweeter. Alessandro’s little son is just too adorable. He steals the show during his scenes. He is a heartwarming part of the book. There is a good amount of humor in this book which I loved, but there is also heart pounding serious moments. I’m not gonna lie there is one part of this book that was tough for me to read. I slowly read through the scene because I was afraid where it was going to go. Alessandro, I loved him, but boy did I want to smack him upside the head a few times. I really liked the set up for the next book in the series. Sounds like some redemption is in order.
I received a review copy before release for an honest review.
This is the 2nd West story in the series and I quite liked it though its also very different than the first book in the series and it has a more violent aspect than in the first book. It was an awesome story and really packed a punch and I loved reading about the characters in the story.
This story follows West sister Piper as she goes to the UK to study for her final year in college. On the plane over she meets a hot guy, Alessandro and they have fun messing around on the plane. However when they and they go their separate ways until they meet when A is her professor in college.
Piper wants A very badly but he won’t touch her as he is staff at her college. A is a single dad and his job is very important to him and so he is kinda a jerk to Piper. However Piper’s life gets very complicated very fast and he is there for her.
This is a very deep story. If you are looking for light reading then I would not read this story. This story features a stalker and he really complicates Piper’s life. While at first I did not like A because he treats Piper very badly, I fell hard for him as he is absolutely there for Piper.
I loved this story. I just wanted to see more of the Wests in the story and they were very seldom seen. This story takes place in England and in Italy so that really made it very different as a Hargrove romance. It was a wonderfully told story and not light reading but an awesome story about coming together and falling in love.
Piper and Alessandro! It took them a little while to come together, but when they did they were a match made in heaven.
Piper and Alessandro meet in a flight from the US to London and bond really quickly, they don’t quite make the mile high club, but they do enjoy each other and part ways.
Much to both their surprise, Alessandro turns out to be Pipers new professor. He makes it clear that nothing can happen between them and she transfers out of his class.
Poor Piper, she doesn’t have the easiest time, dealing with a stalker and an attack that leaves her shaken. She meets Alessandro’s son one day and he instantly loves her and invites her round to play, much to Alessandro’s disgust.
Piper and Alessandro had a love/hate relationship, him always pushing her away. I loved Piper and her comebacks, she was a funny character. I did feel that the early on sparring between them was more hate than a build of sexual tension that I would have liked to have seen. I felt there’s was too much hate for them to get together.
Saying that, when the moment came and the caring aspect appeared between them, I loved their union. They were good together and I loved their moments with each other.
There is so much in this story I could not put it down, eager to find out what would happen next. Hargrove is a new author to me and I will definitely be looking at her previous books as the side characters have left me intrigued.

Oh my A.M Hargrove has definitely knocked it out of the park with One Shameless Night. It was a story that had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see if Piper and Alessandro would ever get their happy ending.
After meeting Alessandro on a plane ride back to the UK and sharing a very intimate moment together, Piper returns to class only to discover he’s a single dad to a very adorable 6 year old and also her new Professor. Things are awkward between them to say the least but when Piper finds herself in grave danger he’s there for her every step of the way. Piper and Alessandro are about to have so much thrown at them but if they stock together they can only come out the other end stronger.
A loved Piper and Alessandro story it is definitely one of my favourite reads of the year!!
5 & more guys! September couldn’t have started a better way with reading good books and this definitely is one of them books!
Alessandro, where do I even start with this hot, sexy guy? First of all, he’s a difficult person, clueless, in denial, but sexy has hell. He’s also committed, thoughtful and smart, and a dedicated single father!
Alessandro and Piper met on a flight home and things got a little heated. The next time Piper saw Alessandro she was very surprised and he treated her like a complete jerk. She has a happy-go-lucky air to her that is fun to read and she feels real. She had me cheering her on every single time and for her to be a strong woman she is not to let Alessandro push her away. Even though I feel like he doesn’t have a real reason for hating her, yes its forbidden, but he doesn’t have to hate her and treat her like a jerk!
Thank god for Gabriele, his brilliant and outspoken son, who has the sense to immediately see Piper for the incredible woman she really is. I just love Gabriele! He’s just a lovely boy! And all of their family members who supported them, family who always support each other just makes me warm in the inside when reading it.
I loved this book. It is one of those books that pull you in.
4.5 Stars – A highly recommended read that has it all!
I absolutely loved this story! I have a soft spot for Italians and I instantly grew fond of Gabriele.
What a fantastic story and great read. I was so glad that it wasn’t the usual professor/student story with age gap and fraternization drama. Well, of course it was somewhat a topic here but one of the smaller ones compared to the thrilling main ones.
There was a lot going on in this story that captured me from start to finish. First off was their sexy encounter on the plane. Then, after they found out that he was her professor, they ran hot and cold what with their physical attraction but forbidden nature of it as well as other secret reasons.
Gabriele, Alessandro’s kid, was so hilarious with his constant questioning. I really laughed a lot during this read, which was one of the reasons why I loved it so much.
I also admired how patient Alessandro as well as Piper answered all his noisy questions. This kiddo was so much fun. The author really knows how to create such lovely, cheery and very fun personalities. He was a very important part of the book and I really adored him.
Alessandro was a great guy but closed off to women for a reason. Though Piper slowly found a way into his heart without him realizing it, until it was too late for him to ever let her go.
The story had some thrilling twists and dramatic moments that nearly had my heart jumping out of my chest and made the story feel much more fast paced. At times I also thought that the story jumped from moment to moment which added to the feel of a very quick read. But it didn’t stop there because the characters stepped up a notch too with how they rushed through all kinds of relationship stages while still being strangers. In other words, the book was unputdownable and I finished reading it in no time.
Apart from the grumpy Alessandro and overdramatic and seemingly desperate Piper in the beginning, I personally didn’t know what to think about the generous hospitality towards Piper and her family from strangers. I know there really are people like that but it’s just not me. So, while it felt a bit weird for me, I tried to overlook it because I loved the rest of the book so much.
To sum it up, this story covered a lot of emotions, from hilarious to sweet and suspenseful to heartbreaking ones, there’s everything included and all one could want from a great book.
One Shameless Night is the first from this series that I have read, and I enjoyed it very much. I loved reading and following Piper and Alessandro’s story. I found Gabriele to be an adorable inquisitive little boy who brightened the story.
Alessandro and Piper are beautifully broken. This book has all the feels. Love Gabrielle. Love all the characters and storyline Once you pick it up you can’t put in down. Excellent

I have read almost all of A.M. Hargrove’s books and let me tell you…her books just keep getting better and better.
Her stories continue to surprise me, but one I know to be the same is that her books are AMAZING and I have a hard time putting them down. One Shameless Night is no exception to this rule.
One Shameless Night covers a couple different genres. It is an enemies to lovers theme, with a little bit of a forbidden theme, but it is also a single parent romance. One thing I have always said about Ms. Hargrove’s books is that she writes the most adorable kids into her stories, and Gabriele was no different. That kid absolutely melted my heart.
This book was full of surprises. It will have your heart feeling like its on a roller coaster. She gives us the perfect mix of humor, sexy times, and suspenseful drama. This was definitely a page turner for me.
One Shameless Night is the second book in the spin off series The West Sisters. The sisters are the cousins of the West Brothers and if you haven’t met them you need to!!! This is a complete standalone and this series can be read in any order and you don’t have to read the West Brothers series to enjoy this series., but I highly recommend reading the The West Brothers series at some time, because you will want to meet those hunky men 😉 This book is told in Dual POV. I thought the flow and pace of the book was perfect. I will warn you a little, there are some parts of this story that might be hard for some readers to read or could be consider triggers. Nothing is overly graphic, but just know that where the author takes this story might be hard to read.
In this book we follow Piper and Alessandro’s story. Piper is the middle West sister and is leaving to go to the U.K. for a semester to finish her degree. Upset to be leaving her family, she meets a mysterious man on the flight over to the U.K. They hit it off right away, but she knows that they will never see each other again….or will she??? Alessandro is a single dad just trying to give his son the best life. So when he accepts a six month teacher job in U.K., he is shocked at who he sees in his class. I loved the chemistry between Alessandro and Piper, even though in the beginning Alessandro was kind of a jerk. Thankfully being that this book is in Dual POV because it helped the reader understand why Alessandro was the way he was. This story has some twists and turns you won’t expect. Just know that Alessandro and Piper have some serious hurdles to overcome throughout their journey to a HEA. But let me tell you this ….. It was totally worth the angst, and heartache to get to the other side!!!
I loved seeing Sylvie and Evan again in this story and I liked seeing more of Reynolds (the third West sister) I look forward to reading her story next.
I would 100% recommend this book. If you are a fan of the single parent or an enemies to lovers romance, then this is one that will take your breathe away!! Add this book and the others in the series to your TBR list NOW!!!
OMG! I this book sooooo much. I wasn’t sure if Evan could be topped, but Alessandro was such a beautiful man. This story was very heartfelt… but there was a lot of scary parts as well – like a woman’s worst nightmare kind of stuff. But it was written so well… and I loved Alessandro’s son, Gabriele, soo hard!! But Piper wasn’t the only one with baggage in that relationship.
What started as a chance encounter on a flight across the pond turned into so much more. A love for forever!!
AM Hargrove has always been one of my go-to authors, and this book didn’t disappoint.
Alessandro got a part time teaching position and had to relocate. On the flight he met a very interesting woman, Piper who was going back to school and they shared similar interests. Alessandro left to get away from a toxic relationship and doesn’t plan on letting anyone in but could Piper change his mind?
“A.M. Hargrove grabbed my attention and kept me on edge with the plot twists!”
“You’re mine. Every single bit of you. No one will ever have you but me. Tell me you understand.” “No one. I’m yours, Alessandro. Always.”
This is the second book in the West Sisters Series. I suggest you read One Indecent Night before this for full knowledge of the West sisters.
Piper and Alessandro meet while traveling, and Piper’s sadness from leaving her family has his attention. Although they have great conversation, the sexual attraction that is each other is feeling is off the charts. After an extremely hot moment on the plane, they go their separate ways.
Piper learns that not only the man who gave her extreme satisfaction, he is also her professor. Alessandro becomes very irritated with Piper which leads her to believe he is hiding something.
One day while out Piper meets Sam, he’s rather pushy towards Piper and insists they go out. That is when she see’s Alessandro with his son Gabriele, assuming he is married she becomes very irritated with him.
She meets Gabriele and realizes soon that this little boy has grabbed her heart, and she doesn’t want to stay away from him or his dad.
Sam keeps showing up at the same places as Piper and she soon realizes he isn’t what he seems.
Can Piper push Sam away long enough to build a relationship with Alessandro? Or will Sam try to destroy everything around Piper? What about Alessandro’s past? Who is safe from those who are out there waiting to inflict harm?
