Reid Singleton has scoped out his next conquest. Drew Fleming can’t believe she’s fooled someone. As you can see from the title of the series, there’s some type of pact involved. As I started reading, I found myself wanting to know more about it and wanting to know what I missed.
You won’t need to have read the previous two books in order to enjoy this latest but it might leave you wondering what kind of story the author created for her two other bachelors. Especially as you get to know Drew. She has an interesting job. Hers seems to be one of those that could make or break a business – that must be a lot of pressure.
The author has created a story that seems so believable. We have a man who seems to have his whole life mapped out but it was interesting to watch how his plans have changed. Like the saying goes, “nothing is set in stone”. Everything seemed natural and believable – the good, the steamy, the awkward and the sad. Having it end on a upbeat and happy note is one thing you come to expect when you see that Harlequin is the publisher. As far as the author goes, she lets us know about her next book – now I just have to remember to mark my calendar. As well as find the time to get the other two Bachelor Pact books read.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
What a fun story! A delicious twist on falling for your teenage crush–and your big brother’s best friend. Reid is a sassy heroine with a wild streak and a sense of adventure. Drew is shocked to realize that his one-night fling is his best friend’s little sister, and therefore firmly off-limits. I definitely recommend this book. You’ll enjoy the ride!
One Night, White Lies by Jessica Lemmon is the story of Drew Fleming and Reid Singleton.
Drew and Reid haven’t seen each other in almost 10 years so Reid didn’t recognize her. Drew has always had a crush on her brother’s best friend Reid, so when he didn’t recognize her she acted on it. But once he finds out he still can’t stay away from her so they go into an agreement with a limit on their encounters. Reid has reason for not getting into a relationship by Drew is tarting to change that along with some new information.
Enjoyed their hot story.
One Night, White Lies (ebook) by Jessica Lemmon ….Well done Jessica…Thank you so much to the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview and review this book. The is the 3rd book in the BACHELOR PACT series. Reid Singleton ..dealing with losing his twin at age three and best friend and business partner of Gage her brother… Drew u…The younger sister who was shy and overweight ….Their story had me shedding tears, laughing, more tears and more laughter…their is angst, lots of steam, secrets, white lies and discovery all leading to a very HEA. I can’t wait for Tate and Hayden’s story in October 2019.
One Night, White Lies is the story of Drew and Reid. Drew is Gage’s younger sister. She helps new restaurants launch their family and friends test run prior to opening their doors for real. Her roommate Christina is sick and can’t attend a conference, so Drew goes in her place. She’s had a crush on her brother’s business partner Reid since she can remember.
A mistaken identity and a little white lie lead to the best night either one of them have ever had. Once Reid figures out she’s not Christina, but Drew his best mates younger sister he’s devastated at what he’s done, however he wants more. They decide to ride it out through the conference.
When they return home can they go back to what they were before or can they never forget what they had?
This book started out hot and heavy. There was a slight lull in the middle, then we were back to exciting. This was a fun, quick read.

A fun and steamy best-friend’s-little-sister story with a touch of mistaken identity and teenage crush thrown in for flavor!
I absolutely need to be reading more from Jessica Lemmon! Reid and Drew’s book was so much fun to read–it was just fine that I hadn’t read the first two books in the series yet (but they’re on my TBR now!), and you’d better believe I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for the next one–I’m not saying whose it is, though, because that would be a spoiler–just know that it’s going to be so good!
My one complaint is that things were wrapped up a tad bit too quickly at the end–I would have liked to have seen Reid do a bit more groveling; despite the overhaul his life had undergone, he still could have handled things better there–but since the end result is they reached their HEA, it’s hard to be too upset about it. I’m looking forward to seeing them together in the next book, being all cute and couple-y 🙂
Is it October yet? 😉

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was such a delightful story and even though there are some sad parts, it’s mostly very heartwarming with lots of humor. I just loved the main characters, Reid and Drew!
Their relationship starts off with him not recognizing her as his best friend’s younger sister (they hadn’t seen each other in 9 years) and after a night of the best sex ever, he finds out the truth. He can’t resist her, though, and they continue their affair with the understanding that in a couple of months they will each go their own way. After all, he’s not the marrying kind!
Drew has had a huge crush on him ever since she was a young teen and it doesn’t take long for her to fall in love with him. Now how to convince him that they’re perfect for each other!! Oh, and it’s a good thing she has big boobs because he’s quite the “boob man”!! lol I just loved their banter and had quite a few giggles at some of their conversations:)
Reid has had heartbreak in his life, though, and it’s made him behave like a “wanker” at times…his word! lol His twin brother went missing on their 3rd birthday and now all these years later, he meets Tate in a coffee shop….his twin!!!
I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Sexy with a hint of intrigue! Forbidden passion exploded between Reid and Drew in the next book in The Bachelor Pact series. Reid made a pact to never fall in love with his two best friends Gage and Flynn, and although those two saps have fallen under the spell of a couple of terrific ladies, he’s determined to remain faithful enough to the vow for the three of them … until he comes across Drew again. They were really adorable together. Sexy as all get out, but also since knowing each other in their youth, they knew more about each other from the start than the average couple and it made for a really open connection between the two of them. I would have liked to have seen a little more development to the ending, but overall it was an entertaining read added a lot to the series.
Drew Fleming knows who he is from across the room, and when she realizes he doesn’t recognize her from all those years ago, she’s determined to seduce him before he puts two and two together and calls a halt to their fun. After all, bro code doesn’t allow you to put your hands on your best friend’s sister!
Reid Singleton’s mind was just blown with how good the sex was with the seductive goddess he just met at a trade show, but when he realizes her true identity, he’s fit to be tied! Gage is going to kill him for getting it on with his sister … but since the deed has already been done, why not continue the fun??
Overall a decent forbidden romance between Reid Singleton and his Best friend’s younger sister, Drew.
Who is Drew? Who is Reid? How do they meet? Who are Gage, Christina, and Flynn? What happens at a convention in California? When Drew and Reid both make it back to their respective homes, what happens when Reid goes for coffee? Who is Tate Duncan? What does Reid say that scares Tate? What happens on Reid’s birthday? Within 2 days of that, where is Reid? What happens? When he heads home, things get even more interesting, read and see what happens.

It was so easy to fall in love with book. Drew and Reid’s romance was fun, exciting, steamy and just a little bit cute. The chemistry between these two was intense and very spicy. For the most part I truly enjoyed the story but I will say that deception is not my favorite plot twist (even if it all works out in the end). Reid definately needed a push in the right direction to wake him up but Drew’s “white lie” was still dishonorable and not the way to build a solid relationship.
