This sexy romp of a romance is a spicy heartfelt fairytale that blends a little bit of ‘Cinderella’ and little bit of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and composes its own beautiful music in a wonderfully sexy and titillating modern fairytale that readers can’t help but envy. The romance is sweet, passionate and full of sizzling chemistry but the relationship is full of emotional turmoil and family misconduct that tries to keep this couple from reaching the happily ever after that they so obviously deserve.
The plot is fast paced and keeps readers glued to the pages in expectation of just how this fairy tale will end. The strong group of characters involved makes it easy for readers to picture Charlotte and Ashes lives which in turn makes it easy to really get to know the characters and become engaged in this rich, sensual, and very enjoyable romance.

A cross-over of Beauty and the Beast & Cinderella with heat.
This story is so fun to read! Charlotte and Ash make a fun couple with enough passion between them to burn down the house. Whew!
Charlotte lets her Grandmother convince her to go to a masked costume ball, where she meets Ash and they have one sizzling evening together. But when they forget to exchange names and information, ash thinks he’s going to have to hire someone to find her. The fates, however, have other plans for them.

Will Charlotte have her happily ever after
This is my first book by Shelley and I will definitely be looking for more books by the author. This is a Cinderella theme book where the main characters grandmothers play fairy godmother as Ash is told to look for a princess in the apricot dress (Charlotte) at the masked ball. Charlotte is mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters, but stays to take care of her grandmother who she is not even related too. When Charlotte walks through Ash’s door to interview for a position in his company, they each learn who the other is after Charlotte spots her missing rose from her costume on his desk. Charlotte is offered the position but later declines it because of her grandmother’s failing health. But when Charlotte needs a job and a place to stay, will Ash be her savior in every way? You have to read to find out and will love the way Ash brings out the best in Charlotte.
Charlotte stays home to take care of her grandmother. Her stepmother and stepsisters treat her terribly. She has to do all the cleaning and cooking besides caring for her grandmother. She goes to a masked ball and ends up having a one night stand and can’t stop thinking about the man she had it with. Ash runs his own advertising company. He has scars on the outside from a fire. He goes to the masked ball and has a one stand but he can’t get the woman out of his mind. Can these two find each other?
This book is another quirky story by Shelley Munro. It’s an interesting version of Cinderella. Charlotte meets Ash at a masquerade ball and, well, you know the rest of the story. There were parts where I became annoyed with her but Charlotte has her inner “Ms. Feisty” who gets her through some tough spots. The emotional side of the story was somewhat flat, but the reader is led to recognize their attraction to each other. The ending is worth reading the book for and left me cheering for the main characters.

This was an awesome story. You can definitely taste the Cinderella story in the background with the evil step-mom and step-sisters and the fairy Godmother is a wonderful step-grandmother, and her friends. The characters were wonderfully constructed and the story takes you on a magic carpet ride of emotions. You feel sorry, excited, scared, furious, tentative, ecstatic, sorrow, devastation. From the highest highs to the lowest lows.
Charlotte goes to a fancy masked ball, forced by her loving grandmother. Her grandmother and friends gifted her with a beautiful apricot colored ballgown. There she meets and falls for the masked Zorro. They spend every minute of the ball dancing together and then afterwards in his hotel room. They never exchanged names let alone phone numbers. The next morning she is back to waiting on her ungrateful and demanding step-mother and step-sisters. Charlotte gave up college to care for her ailing step-grandmother, but she does it with a loving heart because she really loves her grandmother. She is the only one who cares for Charlotte since her beloved father died. She stays and puts up with the abuse so she can be with her grandmother. When a job comes up at a advertising company that one of the step-sisters works at, her grandmother gets her a last minute interview. She doesn’t feel that she is qualified, but she goes and is offered the job, not from the boss, but from the others that interviewed her because of her fresh view of things in her portfolio. During the interview, she sees her missing rose from her ballgown and realizes that the owner of the company is her Zorro.
Ash is the owner of the most prestigious advertising company in New Zealand. He built it from the ground up. He was badly burned in a fire when he was a child where he lost his mother. His father raised him to not give into the depression that could eat him alive and make him into a hermit. He was to get out there and live as though his skin, and face, was perfect, even when people couldn’t look him in the eye or cringed. His grandmother told him to dance with the Apricot Princess at the masked ball, and she was right. The Princess was everything he would want in a woman. Until they went their own way and he never got her name. He is about to hire a PI when she walks into his office and stares at the apricot rose from her gown. His team make the decision to hire her, and then he finds out about her family. He wants to protect her and care for her since she is the only woman who can look him straight in the eye and not seem to see either his scars or dollar signs. She sees him for who he is, not his money. Now he has to protect her from the paparazzi.

Charlotte stays at home is cares for her step family and takes care of the house. However on the night of the masked ball she sneaks out and decides to go since no one will know she went with her wearing a mask. She has an amazing night with Ash Marlborough and disappears before he wakes the next morning. Ash knows he wants to find the woman he was with that night so he plans to hire a private investigator. However fate works in he favor when his woman walks into his office for an interview. Charlotte can’t believe that Ash knows its her and is excited about the job however when she gets home her step family take all the excitement away. Will Charlotte and Ash get to be together? Will her step family take everything from her?
This is a great fairytale like story that will captivate you like no other. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
Cinderella has upped her game. From a little girl’s fantasy to an adult woman’s delight. Munro had me at hello. One Night of Misbehavior is proof that even the most jaded heart can find it’s perfect match. A picture perfect, modern twist on a tale that every romantic knows by heart.
Charlotte lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters. Also her step-grandmother who she looks after. When her father died, there was nowhere else for her to go. She was about eight at the time. The stepmother and stepsisters treated her like a slave while she ran the household and took care of the old lady. Her and the old lady loved each other dearly. Ash is very rich and his face is badly scarred from a childhood fire. He and Charlotte met at a charity ball. Still wearing their masks, they had a very hot night together. Ash is fascinated by her and hopes to meet her again. Fabulous story and I loved, loved it.
Modern-day Cinderella…
This was a modern-day Cinderella story revolving around Charlotte. Her Prince Charming/The Beast/Zorro is Ash. Since I am a fan of “grownup” fairy-tales, I enjoyed this one.

I know if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all; but this one will hot you in the heart. She’s the type of girl that doesn’t let life tarnish her outlook on life or how she treats others, though no one would blame her if she did. She still sees the beauty in the ugly around her because of all the ugly the world keeps throwing at her. It may have forced her to build walls to protect her heart from love and hurry, but it’s not going to stop her from subconsciously wanting to be free to be herself. He is scarred, but she sees him for who he is. These two have chemistry and the world may try to keep them apart but their attraction for one another can’t be stopped. It’s a sweet romance that will have your heart clinching and you wishing for HEA

I love this Cinderella fairytale remake. The characters were well developed and the story was funny, sad and poignant.
Charlotte disobeys her stepmother and attends a masked costume ball were she meets Zorro aka Ash, an advertising tycoon. They hit it off and spend the night together. Charlotte is caretaker for her stepgrandmother, cooks and cleans her stepmother’s home. She ends up dating Ash and doing freelance work for him. They have to deal with several troublesome issues and events, but manage to get their HEA in the end.

Fairytales come to life in this story, but not just Cinderella, I can also think there’s a little Beauty & the Beast twist added in. Charlotte is definitely in need of rescuing but not only just from her step-family but also from her own lack of self-worth, I felt sorry for her, she’s such a compassionate person. Ash is determined to be her Prince Charming and he is patient with her. With him and her feisty side, she blossoms. Great couple, their chemistry is off the charts and although the relationship starts with misbehavior their road to forever is an entertaining roller-coaster ride.

Great update to the Cinderella story. Despite the wicked stepmother and stepsisters, it made me happy from the beginning. The hero and heroine, Ash and Charlotte were happy, mostly well-adjusted people, who could be counted on when the chips were down. It will definitely be a book I read again in the future.
If you’re looking for a happily ever after, you’ll find it here, even though there’s a few hiccups along the way. This won’t disappoint.
A Formidable Cinderella
A contemporary Cinderella storyline that had a really really evil stepmother and sisters. Cinderella, played by a Charlotte and Ash who played by the Prince met at a charity ball where they hooked up for one night. Then her grandmother arranged for her to be interviewed for a graphic design position which turns out to be for Ash’s company. They form a formidable force to deal with the steps. The ending is unique and I loved it.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.

One Night Of Misbehavior by Shelley Munro is a fabulous read. Ms. Munro has given us a well-written book packed with outstanding characters. Charlotte stays home and takes care of her step-grandmother. She’s a regular Cinderella, cleaning and cooking for her step-mother and step-sisters. Ash is the owner of an advertising agency. Charlotte and Ash’s story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle and suspense. I enjoyed reading this fun book and look forward to reading more from Shelley Munro soon. One Night Of Misbehavior is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
The wonderfully compelling central characters have plenty of chemistry and sizzle and make for a fun and sexy read!
