But his protective instincts rear up as he realizes Amanda is trying to take on so much and she has no idea what she’s up against. With debts owed and unpaid, can Tommy do the job he was hired to do while keeping Amanda safe, or is he destined to destroy everything he touches?
And can Amanda believe in love when she’s not even sure what family is?
Continue with the Mistletoe Matchmakers and see just how much family and love play a role in finding redemption.

This is one of the best of the stories in this series, though, all are great. This family are always in some twist or trial but now it all comes to a final heightened finale. Amanda gets her man? Well, sort if. If she can make the right decisions. This story is my favorite of all so far. I will read to the end of the series.
So, so much is packed in this, book six of the Mistletoe Matchmakers series that it is hard to decide what had the most impact on the storyline! I loved how everything that Amanda did was all about integrity and preserving the well-being of the town and all of its residents. Such a selfless individual who managed to keep a cool head even while the brain within that head was spinning in every direction and she felt like she no longer had the stability of her family to fall back on for much-needed support. Tommy was also put in an extremely difficult position where he had to choose between following his moral compass and therefore putting his beloved grandmother at risk of losing everything or adhering to his word of honor and completing the job he had been hired to do by an employer he was fast beginning to suspect had nefarious intentions for the woman and town he had fallen in love with. I loved the choices that were made by both Amanda and Tommy and felt that the ending was scripted perfectly! This was a truly exceptional book by a very talented author who incorporated some really unique plot twists!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This was a standalone read and is the sixth book in the series. It is a small town read and this one was about Amanda and her struggles and how she deals with them. How Tommy is caught up in the struggles, with mention of both the Dean and Wilson families in the series.
I enjoyed this book very much. The fact that Amanda is so upset and she feels broken by life’s circumstances. She blindly trusts who she thinks is her therapist, and even developed feelings for him. Tommy is desperate to save his Grams’ farm, after all she’s all he has left. There were several times reading that I just wanted to grab Amanda and give her a shake and tell her to wake up and see the things going on in front of her. And on the flip side whack Tommy upside his head and tell him to man up and tell the truth, fight fire what he wants. I won’t go into detail about my feeling on the villain so as not to spoil something. But this was a great book. (I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review)
The storm, man alive! Jennifer thought she could control everything and everyone. She hired Tommy, a private investigator, to retrieve some items that Amanda had in her possession. He secretly played at being a therapist when Amanda went in to see one in hopes of dealing with the ‘storm’ that Jennifer caused. I thought that Amanda was being very naive with the way she acted inviting Tommy to stay with her at her father’s home. As a matter of fact, I thought others were being very naive as well. However, I liked how Ms Paulson turned everything around and created a happy ever after although the epilogue was way too short. I wanted more. I suppose ‘the more’ will be the next book in the series. I will gladly go for that.
ONE TANTALIZING JOURNEY
Jumping jellybeans! Bonnie lays this puppy out in stunning wonder, dishing out some heart wrenching lessons, discombobulated facts and ruthless decisions, hooking you from start to finish, skyrocketing this gem to a whole new level. Shenanigans and misfortune descend in tempest of cunning deception, callous manipulations and ruthless betrayal, baring the separate struggles and challenging triumphs exposing the shocking twists and stunning turns, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of determination, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such ease and adoration, baring boundless emotions and infinite affections, binding them together beautifully. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity with enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Bonnie, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
This book kept me turning the pages as the author worked out a complicated and suspenseful plot line with well-developed characters. I had trouble believing the male main character of the story, Tommy, would win the girl’s heart or be acceptable to her family members after such an egregious flaw of posing as her therapist. I found it very satisfying to see the evil mother character, Jennifer, thwarted in her attempts to bring harm to others. For those who like a book with a happily-ever-after ending, you will be happy with this book! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This was another fun book in the Mistletoe Matmakers series. I enjoyed seeing the feelings developing between Amanda and Tommy, and was thoroughly engrossed in their story, finding them both very likable. I was very curious to see how the dilemma Tommy found himself in would be resolved, to the point that I couldn’t put the book down until I was finished. Tommy’s grandmother was a hoot, and Amanda’s mother was a character that I really wanted to see locked up for everything she put her family through. I absolutely loved the ending! Ms. Paulson is a very talented storyteller, and I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future. I received a copy of this book from the author, and am giving my voluntary and honest opinion.
Tommy Declan is a private investigator but ends up portraying a therapist for Amanda to get answers to questions that he is seeking. A book you can’t put down once you start reading it. Amanda has been dealt more blows than any one person should have to deal with but the icing on the cake is her mother, who is one wicked lady, is back stirring up trouble again for the town and families of Mistletoe. Tommy has no idea what he has gotten himself into working for Ms. Halliwell until he ends up falling for Amanda who he is about to betray. Can he end up helping Amanda, as well as, save his grandmother’s farm when it is so in debt?
This really is a great series filled with wonderful characters and a big healing of real life and it’s issues. While, yes, there are standalone romances within the books, there are big parts that tie together and an overarching “story” that you just need to start at the beginning and read them all. I really enjoyed this story filled with deceit and doubt and can’t wait for more!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
