I really love Ember. Ash is absolutely a strong and loveable hero. I love his failings and his needs. I love that he is not as confident as he should be and I love that he finds his way. I love Cadence. She makes the story in a lot of places. I love the band. I love the story. The story has a uniqueness that sneaks up on you and kind of bites you in the feels.

Hear me, hear me… My favorite author is writing a new rockstar romance and you need to read it.
Her last series from this genre was freaking awesome and I was super excited to read another one…
CM Seabrook is the bomb… You tell her what genre you prefer and she makes it happen…
One More Song is her latest release and tells the stories of Ash and Ember.
Ash is a rockstar that hit rock bottom. He and his band were given an ultimatum. To get their shit** together or forget their careers, and to do so, they were sent to a new town. When they get there he wasn’t expecting their new landlord…
Ember is a single mom trying to raise her kid alone. That job could be easy if her useful ex wasn’t always bothering her. She rented her house to a guy but…
So good… So perfect… So intense…
This book just stole my heart… It was perfect.
Amazing plot, very well written, super engaging, sweet and with so touch of hotness…

An absolutely fantastic, well written, and emotionally deep romance! The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, and very interesting with some ups and downs, drama, intrigue, and a mix of emotion on every page. The chemistry between Ember and Ash is intense and instant! This book met all of my expectations and then some! From start to finish I was held captivated with the overall quality, the wonderful story line, and the very interesting characters. A really passionate and exciting read! Definitely recommended.

This book is about a man, in a band, Absinthe, that takes a much needed break to straighten themselves out. That man, Ash, comes with a reputation that reaches far and wide but he learns that it is true, when you meet that one person that changes things, can people change?
Ember is a single Mom with an ex snapping at her heels. Ember does not need a relationship or any such complications but she is drawn to Ash. She knows she is headed for disaster getting involved with him but just a physical connection, no strings can’t hurt. Right? Ash and Ember end up getting to be more than a no strings hookup but can they give one another the chance to change and prove that they can be exactly what the other needs? I really enjoyed reading this author’s story and seeing Ash and Ember find their HEA.

Rocker Ash Is Drawn To Ember And Her Quiet Life, But They Both Know How It Ends In This Beautiful And Emotional Story!
The future of rock band Absinthe is in doubt. Although they have two more albums on their contract, the last one tanked, and lead singer Ash has spent the last year spiraling out of control. After hiding from the press for several months, Ash rejoins Synn, Saint, and Dusky at a remote Bed and Breakfast to quietly get to work on a new album.
Asher Stone poured himself into building up Absinthe, but nearly took it down. The alcohol, women, fame, and drugs did enough to numb him. But with the added guilt and self-loathing over his dad, he lost himself altogether. His agent has tried to get him to agree to counseling for years, but he refuses. Still, he knows he needs to get his head straight.
His bandmates are family to him, and he has let them down. They aren’t happy with him, but he has a chance to make it up to them now. He just needs to steer clear of women and focus on writing. But something happens to him when he sees her for the first time. He doesn’t understand it, but the tug on his heart when his eyes connect with hers feels like his soul is speaking to him.
Ember Skye, twenty-four, has been through a lot in her young life. She is divorced and a single mom to six year old Cadence, who is the center of her world. Ember has sworn off men – and hasn’t been with one since separating from her husband four years ago. She had been lured in by his bad boy persona and never saw him for what he really was until it was too late. She hadn’t recognized herself when it ended, and was now determined that she wouldn’t allow a man to hurt her again.
She inherited a large, aging home from her grandmother several years ago. It has been in her family since it was built, and she had promised her grandmother she would keep the home. But maintenance on an old home is expensive, so she has just converted it into a Bed and Breakfast to help pay for all the unexpected repairs.
Ember is excited to her first client to arrive, so when three tall tattooed men walk into her home like they own it, she is confused. When a fourth man steps forward and burns her with his heated gaze, she is lost. She feels naked in front of him, and knows immediately that she is in trouble.
Ember and Ash share a powerful love story that begins almost inexplicably, but soon develops into a deeply rewarding relationship. They both have a shameful past, yet neither resorts to judgment. Ash must deal with his failures personally and professionally, while Ember must face parental issues. She is rooted in her family home with Cadence, and Ash is from LA. Ember and Ash’s characters are written with great feeling. They truly deserve their very satisfying HEA!
This book is well-written. Emotional and realistic, the story sticks with you afterward. The POV alternates between Ember and Ash. The plot is somewhat simple but written with depth. The characters are well-developed. Very real, they take on a life of their own. The book does an excellent job of developing the supporting characters, too. Several could have their own stories written in a spinoff. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

Another great fast steamy reader from this wonderful author
Ash a member of a rock band has been told to disappear for a while until the public gets over his latest drug scandal. So he and his band have rented a B&B for the summer hoping to get some song writing done while they are in seclusion What Ash doesn’t expect is to meet Ember the owner of the B&B the attraction between them is instant and mutual but Ember is a single mum to her daughter Candace and a survivor of domestic abuse. Can she let her walls down to let Ash in and can a wounded rock star really find love at last These are two people with a lot of emotional baggage will they finally get the HEA they deserve You will have to read to see
I loved Ember and Ash’s story. Ash and his bandmates come to stay at Ember’s B&B for 3 months because of some issues caused by Ash. The instant attraction between Ember and Ash is felt by all. Ember has a daughter, an ex-husband who is a real piece of work, and a past she is not proud of. They try to fight the pull as long as they can. C.M. Seabrook did a fantastic job writing their story with tons of emotions that pull you in and don’t let go until the end. I highly recommend reading this book!

Ember has decided to turn her home into a bed and breakfast to support herself and her daughter, Cadence. Ember is thrilled when Maryll books the bed and breakfast for 3 months, paid in advance. Millie, Ember’s friend, tells Ember she needs a life outside of the B & B. Ember is lonely, but she isn’t ready for another man in her life while still dealing with her ex-husband, who drank away the money she earned working two jobs supporting them and who she caught in their bed with another woman on the day of her father’s funeral. Ash, Saint, Synn, and Dusky are the members of the hugely popular rock band, Absinthe. They have been banished to the middle of nowhere because of Ash’s reckless and irresponsible behavior and to write new songs for their next album. Ember is shocked when huge, tattooed men show up at her home, instead of the woman she spoke to on the phone. Ember is trying to throw the men out when she locks her eyes on Ash. Ash and Ember are instantly attracted to each other. Ember knows Ash isn’t what is right for her, but she hasn’t felt this alive in a long time. Ash knows he needs to stay away from Ember, but he has never felt this way about a woman before and knows he is only in her home for a short time. Ash finds himself writing amazing songs thanks to his muse, Ember. Can Ash and Ember open up to each other and heal the other’s past pain? Will Ash be able to help Ember when her ex threatens to take her daughter away? Can Ash stay out of trouble? Will Ash walk away from Ember or will he step up and be the man Ember needs him to be? I loved One More Song by C.M. Seabrook! The chemistry between Ash and Ember is hotter than a blazing sun. I love the dynamics between the guys in the band. One More Song is a fantastic book with amazing characters. One More Song has band drama, crazy ex, scorching hot chemistry, kindle melting sex scenes, and a happily ever after. I would highly recommend getting One More Song by C.M. Seabrook, a MUST read author for this reader.

One More Song is a lovely read with so much emotion. I could feel the tension between Ash and Ember as they tried to deny the instant connection between them. They both struggling to overcome their pasts and get their lives back on track. I loved seeing their relationship develop.
I adored Ember’s little girl and how the whole band developed a relationship with her. It was the sweetest.
The ending just melted my heart and left me feeling all warm inside.
I really enjoyed reading this story .
It’s a very emotional story . Beautifully written . Each of the characters are truely unique . Ash has a dark and wild past .
He is a broken soul needing rescued . Ember is a single mother trying to make it and keep her family home while raising her young daughter Cadence . From the start there’s something growing between Ash and Ember . Ash a broken Rockstar and Ember a single mom with issues of her own . Together maybe they can heal each other . I found this a beautiful absolutely amazing story . I may have spilt a few tears . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy .

One More Song took me on an emotional roller coaster and is a beautiful love story about two wounded souls finding each other. Ember and Ash are great characters and I loved the way the author brought them together. He’s a rockstar and she’s a single mother running a bed and breakfast. Two people who are total opposites and I was cheering them on hoping they would finally get an HEA. Great writing, a beautiful love story and characters that are perfect for each other make this a must read.

As one of my go to authors, Ms. Seabrook continually brings the feels and this one is no different. From the beginning, I was hooked. Ember is a struggling woman trying to turn her grandmother’s house, after her passing, into a bed and breakfast so that she can make ends meet and take care of her daughter, Candace. As luck would have it, she is able to arrange a three month stay for her next guest and is beyond elated. Sometimes what you get is not what you expect as she experiences the shock of her life when four gorgeous, sexy alpha males from the band Absinthe enter her abode. Ash, Dusky, Synn and Saint have arrived at the B&B because of some negative publicity and they needed to get away, regroup and write some new material. Sounds like an easy fix but no as Ash is having difficulty finding his muse. Ember is doing all she can to stay out of the magnetic pull that Ash is throwing her way as she does not want to do anything to create problems for her herself and her daughter; especially since Ash is only going to be staying for three months and he is a rock star. Yet due to the amount of time they spend in close proximity, their feelings grow and their attraction will not be denied. What will happen once Ash leaves to return to his life? How will Ember handle him leaving? This is one book that pins the reader to the chair and does not release its hold until the final word. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the rest of the band members’ stories.

Ember turns her huge family home into a B&B so she can afford to keep it and have some stability for her daughter. Someone rents it out for three months – turns out it’s a rock band in need of some time to recharge and write new songs. This is probably my favorite book by this author – very moving. Ember and Ash have fabulous chemistry from the beginning. I particularly like how they’re both concerned about how their relationship will affect the other, even when it keeps them from going after what they really want. Her ex-husband is a real piece of work, but he gets his in the end. Ash’s band mates are so tender in their dealings with Ember’s daughter, even as they have trouble watching the language around her. And her best friend Millie is just that – a terrific and supportive friend who pushes Ember to go after what she needs.

Absolutely heartwarming. What a charming story! The characters were excellently described and developed. The dialogues were intelligent, honest and allowed for gradual development and appreciation for the growing emotional attachment our heroes Ember and Ash have for each other. Both of them have been through a lot in life and instinctively feel though consciously unaware that they will be each other’s salvation. The book is a very easy read, a real page-turner, it held my attention from beginning to end. I won’t go into any details, the author has already given a synopsis. Great to read about a reformed bad boy, not to mention that he a hot rock star, a handsome hunk with washboard abs. The sex between the heroes is hot. The relationship of the rest of the band with Cadence is so endearing. I was only surprised by the choice of names of the main characters and their children. The message of this book shows that love is the only thing in life that endures with the power to centre us. The book’s excellent editing enhanced the experience.

A beautiful rockstar love story from start to finish. It was love/lust at first sight for Ember & Ash. Sometimes you don’t always meet “the one” at the exact correct moment in your life so you have to hold on tight until that moment appears. This story is their adventure to reach that moment.
Ms Seabrook is an expert in rockstar romance. This new series looks to be as exceptional as her “Wild Irish Series.”

Ash and Ember’s story will grab your interest from the first to the last page, a broken man and a woman just trying to keep things together for her Daughter Cadence. One meeting and their life’s will change. I enjoyed reading this story it is a must read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I always avoid rockstar romances, always. However, none of this author’s books have ever let me down so I caved and took on the ARC. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of this story. Ash and Ember are combustible together. Their relationship is passionate, intensely intimate and, in the end, incredibly loving. The emotional connection between Ember’s daughter and Ash was beautiful and natural as well. The secondary storyline of Ash and his band mates was also quite interesting and added a lot to this story. Despite my initial reservations regarding this book, I was completely won over and can do nothing less than than highly recommend it.
