This book left me a bit speechless……
One thing I can say is this book will get you right in the heart. It’s about redemption not just for one but both main characters. A mom with a past she doesn’t want anybody to know about and a rick star with a past that played out in front of the world.
Two people that come together thinking it will just be sex but soon find out that their hearts didn’t get the memo.
But their lives are so different so how can they find a happy medium? Well you will have to read to find out!!! So in love with this book and the HEA.

One More Song is a heartwarming romance story that tugs at the heartstrings. The story rings true, and the characters are believable and relatable. The way that Ember and Ash’s romance begins is what drew me into the story. Music makes it all make sense. The story is from the perspective of Ash and Ember, which helps endear these characters. I did not put the book down until I finished.
Ash was a real mess. He was everything that the tabloids tell us a rock star is and worse. As the frontman of Absinthe, and their primary songwriter, Ash is not able to step down nor can he be fired. He has to get his life together and is clueless as to how to make that happen. Ash only sees himself as an f****p. Lucky for him, his bandmates are also his band of brothers, his family. They are there to keep his head in the game and keep him out of trouble. Good luck with that!
Enter Ember, a single Mom in full survival mode, and her daughter Cadence. The battle for their love unfolds in songs, which often speak more to the heart and mind than anything else. It is a battle that pulls you in, making you root for Ash, for Ember, and them together. This story hit my heart big time. Every lady wants a man willing to fight for her in some way. Although Ash did some fighting physically, he mostly fought his battles through song, which is an excellent way to a woman’s heart.

every woman needs a man like Ash
Ash is on a fast track to destroying his career when he meets Ember. Both of them have gone through rough patches in life, but Ember makes Ash want to be a better man. I loved how they are able to connect and find love despite the challenges they faced. This was a rocker romance with all the feels!

One More Song was a stand-alone by CM Seabrook.
The famously successful rock band Absinthe was hiding out from the media in a small town Bed and Breakfast while working on their next album. The lead singer, Ash Stone, was on a downward spiral to destruction and taking the band with him. They needed the album to be a success.
Ember Skye was a single mother to six year old Cadence and was barely getting by. She inherited her grandmother’s old home and was trying to keep it afloat by renting it out as a Bed and Breakfast.
I loved the band Absinthe. Once Cadence entered the picture, they treated her like their niece and were adorable. It was a fun read.
Seabrook took us through the initial attraction while unveiling both Ash’s and Ember’s troubled lives. They were both broken, but together, were whole. At least for the short time the band was in town. I enjoyed the storyline as well as the characters. I desired a little more depth and detail, but for a short book, I enjoyed it none the less.
All in all, it was well written, a quick read and enjoyable. I would love a follow up as well as a series, or spinoff, for the rest of the band. I mean Synn, Dusky and Saint – how could they not have great stories!
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Fantastic and emotional
One More Song is another fantastic book by C.M. Seabrook. Whether this author is writing by herself or with Frankie Love the stories that are written are interesting and engaging and the characters are dimensional and usually really likeable, or lovably hating. One More Song is such a story as two very broken people find each other and become a perfect fit to heal and become more.
I loved this book and fell in love with the characters, flaws and all. This is a definite read by this author.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Great chemistry between the main characters, they make a great couple but have to work for their romance. The story is interesting and humorous at times, it held my attention throughout.

What a beautiful love story where we have Ember who’s decided to start using part of her large home into a bed & breakfast and the first booking is for 3 mths but she gets a shock when she sees its not Maryll but 4 men with instruments whom she didn’t realise they were whom were going to be her guests for the 3 mths & not just 1 middle aged woman.
They’re a well known band Absinthe & it’s the lead singer Asher Stone whom seems to get to Ember.
Things take such a different direction in the way either of them ever thought or even imagined would happen.
There’s areas of such deep /darkish areas during their short time together, but there’s nothing else to not fall in love with all these strong men who will be there to help & protect Ember & her daughter Candence, but things don’t end so smoothly when the time for them to go back ‘home’ to record their latest album…
A perfect rock star romance packed with all the feels.
The characters were great, the storyline was addictive and executed flawlessly and the writing was effortless.
Another 5 star read!!
Ash is a member of a famous rock-and-roll band. After a wild night went viral, the group was sent to the middle of nowhere.
Ember is fighting for her little girl and trying to keep the house she inherited from her grandmother.
I have to say that although I enjoyed the book, it’s not so emotional as the others I have read from the same author, but it still deserves the five stars.
this is a quick insta love romance with plenty of heat. One troubled rock star, one fed up band, a single mom with issues and a cute kid make this a good story with plenty of drama to keep you entertained. Ash and Ember find each other a the just in time. It seems like the wrong time with the situations in their life. But they were each others saving grace. good characters and a nice epilogue wraps things up nicely.

I loved this sweet and sexy romance from the first page. Bad boy rock star Ash and single mom Ember have great chemistry and their heartwarming story was impossible to put down. Everything about this book from the characters to the plot was special. Love the HEA, especially the epilogues which are a great finish to this beautiful love story.

This totally awesome book features Ember and Ash. He’s the out-of-control lead singer of the rock band Absinthe. She runs the B&B his manager set the band up at to stay in for 90 days. During this time they are supposed to write music. One look at the innkeeper and he’s found his muse. Reading this story just feels good. Amber and Ash have a feel good vibe about them. Their chemistry is blazing HOT! It is fantastic seeing all the band members get wrapped around Cadence’s little finger. She is adorable.
This story line is fantastic! The character growth is perfect. All the characters are so great it makes me wish they were my friends. And the epilogue? Fan-freaking-tastic! The second epilogue? Even better. I can’t wait to see if any more band members get their stories told.
I absolutely Loved One More Song! It was a great romance with all the feels! You won’t want to miss this one. C.M. Seabrook has given us another unforgettable story! I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
I read and reviewed this book voluntarily.
Ember has just opened a bed and breakfast on the 5 acre estate her grandmother left her. She is delighted to get a booking for the whole place that lasts 3 months from a women. She is shocked when 4 men show up at her door. She has no clue the foursome make up the band Absinthe. At first she tells them no. She cannot have them there; she has more than just herself to think about she has a young daughter Candance. But the contract she signed makes it impossible for her to back out.
Ash and his band mates are being sent to a remote area to write their new album. Ash especially needs to keep his nose clean. And even though the guys in the band tell him to keep his hands to himself he cannot help his attraction to Ember.
These two smolder. And even though there are suppose to be no feelings can they keep them out of it, and can a single mom divorced from a wanna be rock star really be with a rock star, even if it is no strings attached?
This was such a good book. I could not put it down once I started reading it.
Very emotional a little bit bitter- sweet story with a heart-warming ending
I loved this story so, so, so very much! The heroine’s daughter is the sweetest and captured my heart from the very beginning as well as the brooding hero. Loved how this romance was build, how the tension was increasing with every chapter read by me and then how it all unravelled. The unexpected turns and twists kept me reading and I devoured this book in one sitting. But knowing already writing style of the author I couldn’t expect any less. I knew it would be good and wasn’t disappointed because it was even more, it was awesome! Love to read stories where single moms with troubled past are main characters. It happens very often that kids also play a huge role in how the relationship between main characters is going to evolve. And of course I loved every single of other band members especially the Irish one and I hope there will be more books about them.
Another winner for CM Seabrook! I loved reading and following Ember and Ash’s story. The depth of the characters make this a wonderful book to read. I can’t wait to see what this author will come up with next.
I really loved this book by C. M. Seabrook. I always enjoy reading about the perpetual bad boy meeting the one feisty woman who can give a brand new purpose to his life and pursue her through hell and high water. Yes, it definitely is my thing.
This favorite of mine storyline aside C. M. Seabrook’s writing is always so put together and so good to read. I loved every minute of it.
Not too much drama, just enough tension to keep things interesting. Palpable chemistry and HEA. Not to mention the heartmelting epilogue!
Everything I love in a romance combined together.
