From New York Times bestselling author, Corinne Michaels, comes a new heartwarming standalone romance.I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed. That is, until I get my first … succeed.
That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.
I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m falling in love with him.
But when the unthinkable happens, can I even blame him for cutting his losses?
What I wouldn’t give for just one last time . . .

Lately I’ve been trying to get my mitts on any of this authors work I can, and when the opportunity came to listen to and review a copy of this fell into my lap, I snapped it up. I was all set for it be a heart wrenching read, but luckily it wasn’t, but it was really kinda witty, kinda hot and while the conflict was a bit..far fetched, other than that, this was a sweet, fun time. Kristen is coming out of a marriage when she meets Noah who’s a movie star and their connection is instant. Add in the cute kids and always on point voice of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York? You have a winner.
One Last Time ( Second Time Around Series #2) is a contemporary romance with a single parent trope. In this case a single mom with two young impressionable children. Corinne Michaels writes about real life topics and composes the stories in realistic ways. The kids were favourite characters of mine. I loved the witty humour and the cute banter between the characters. A second chance at love for a single mom with two kids and a swoon worthy male lead character. The plot is smooth with bits of humor and sadness sprinkled through to get to a hea.
Andi Arndt, Sebastian York dual naration was easy to listen to. Each give emotions in the words while portraying the characters.
Overall a fun listen.

Series: Second Time Around, Book 2
Single mom Kristen finds herself trying to adjust to her new life. Recently separated from her husband, she is beginning a new life with her kids. A writer by trade, she takes a job as a celebrity blogger, and her first interview is Noah Frazier, a popular actor and who happens to be friends with her best friend’s fiancé. Little did she know how that chance meeting would change her life. Corinne Michaels writes a life changing story for two people that thought they would never find that special kind of love. She pushes all the buttons for me: single parent, second chance, swoony hero, and perfect fit of hearts. Kristen is one of those you can’t help but love. She has been through a lot, her self-confidence battered, but she loves her kids and is a devoted parent, Noah is the perfect man, even with his baggage. Love his ability to adapt and love. This story is all encompassing, full of emotion, turmoil, growing love and fresh starts. I loved it!
Narrated by the impeccable team of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, I knew I was in for a treat. These two fill the story with their impressive storytelling and let us live Kristen and Noah’s journey. Hours of listening fun left my smiling with a full heart.

I absolutely loved this audiobook, the story hooked me up, I could relate a bit too much into it, now I only need a Noah. This story touches on different topics, from emotional abuse and losing herself, to find herself again and getting a hot superstar in the process. The story of Kristin and Noah is emotional and deep. Definitely recommend getting the audiobook, it’s narrated by one of my favorite duo Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, brilliant 5 stars!
An emotionally intense, and highly entertaining journey to go on with Noah and Kristin. I absolutely enjoyed every single moment of this book.
An easy fun listen. The HEA is of course implied and there are not any great surprises, but it was nice having the main female character grow into her own and the ex get what he deserves. It so rarely happens. Enjoy as it really is a great listen.
So I was very excited to read Kristin and Noah. Corinne was at her best with them. There was so much emotions and love with them. I love how an author has a sense of humor and brings it in her characters. I absolutely loved that they tried to deny their feelings for each other but true love exceeded all their denials and love found its way in their lives. Absolutely loved Kristin & Noah and worth more 5*****. Thank you Corinne for beautiful story.
This book is just one in 4 stand alone novels that are actually interconnected by 4 female friends who are there for each other in every way possible. Kristan is one kick a$$ heroine. She is strong and will do anything for her kids and her friends.
Noah is an actor on a popular TV show with rock singer/actor Eli Walsh from the stand alone We Own Tonight. When Kristan and Noah meet it is just kismet, love, happiness, funny as hell- if you are looking for a book with ALL the feelings …..this is the one!!! I definitely recommend this book!
Ahhhh! This book was so addictive! I felt every emotion humanly possible. Noah will steal your heart and Kristin will have you cheering for her through the whole book. My favorite Corinne Michaels book yet!
Hot British guy with a silver tongue and a little bit of cockiness…check. Some steamy office time…check. A little bit of heartbreak that is quickly mended…check. A story that leaves you feeling good, restores your faith in second chances and makes you giggle just a little…check, check and check. Easy to read contemporary romance that you won’t be able to put down!
LOVE THESE GIRLS! This story is so amazing! Danielle is a strong independent women that had to face reality and her fears and Milo is just the one to help out! Milo is a man after my heart… just when you think he is going to be stubborn and bold headed… he steals your heart! WARNING… this book will lead you to reread the first 3 books… 🙂
This book was amazing! Watching as Kristin overcomes the damage her ex-husband caused was empowering. Noah is funny, sweet, and encouraging. The way he not only fell for Kristin but her kids was heartwarming. This book took me on an emotional journey and through Corinne’s writing I was able to lose myself in this story and the lives of the characters. I can’t wait to read more books by Corinne!
*4,5 stars*
When you read a book by Corinne Michaels, you just know you will love it. At least that’s how it is for me. Ever since I started reading her, she has become a favorite author of mine and a one-click every time. Look out for this one ‘cuz Noah Frazier is coming!
Kristin is getting a divorce after trying to work it out with her husband for the last time. She hasn’t been happy for a very long time and her husband always seemed to bring her down somehow. But it’s hard to move on, especially when you have two kids to worry about. When she has to interview Noah for the new work job she has, the chemistry between them is so palpable.
Noah lost his one true love at an early age and never gotten really close to anyone but when Kristin comes into his life he’ll feel an instant attraction and chemistry that won’t let him go. But due to the circumstances Kristin’s walls are very high. Will Noah be able to bring them down? Will Kristin finally find true love she deserves?…
This story… I was so excited to see we were getting Kristin’s story. Add in the fact that we got Noah and OH MY. I loved everything about these two. They made the story what it was and you seriously can’t help but love them both. Noah is my new favorite book boyfriend, which is always a HUGE plus.
Noah is seriously swoon worthy, I might even say he is perfect. I couldn’t help but have some major heart melting moments when I’d read about the things he would do. He will give ANY book boyfriend (and man for that matter) a run for his money.
Kristin, this woman is amazing. She is strong, determined and finding herself, but she radiates strong female considering the situation she finds herself in. What she wasn’t expecting in the whole equation was Noah…
These two made this story amazing and hot. You can’t help but loving it. The love Noah has for Kristin is swoon worthy and this is one of my favorite reads of 2018 so far.
One last time is a fantastic, steamy second chance romance with memorable characters that keeps you engaged from the first page to the last.
I was rooting for Kristen and Noah to finally find their happy ending. They had to trust each other and deal with challenges to finally get there, but it was so worth the journey in end.
I love when a movie star is a really good guy. Especially for a gal who has had her heart broken by a bad marriage and has 2 kids to continue to be there for.
Noah and Kristin are an amazing couple. She has quite a bit of bad luck and clumsiness around him but that makes her even more endearing.
Love this because Corinne can always deliver an amazing story.
Another winner by Corinne Micheals! The narrators (Andi Ardnt & Sebastian York), really brought Corinne’s words to life! This story had all the feels. A heartfelt, and at times heartbreaking story of love, loss and second chances.
Love Corinne Michaels books. Love this story. I loved every second of this book. Didn’t want it to end. Love the writing
One Last Time was my favorite book by Corinne Michaels to date. Noah and Kristen’s story will make you laugh, cry and swoon, it’s so good. Kristen is a woman who has endured so much heartache but stays strong. Noah is a hot alpha male that will have you swooning with his kind and open heart. Put these two together and you have magic. I truly loved this story. I guarantee this is a book you will fall in love with, I know I did.
