★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “A hysterically funny and well-written romance.” – Readers’ FavoriteCassie Dunhill and her friends make a pact to marry the next guy they each date. What could possibly go wrong?Cassie is sick of dating. It’s been ten years and it’s time, time to find The One. It’s either that or buy a fetching habit and veil and abandon the whole thing. But Cassie believes in love, and she’s not ready … believes in love, and she’s not ready to give up yet.
The pressure is on to find Mr. Right and Cassie’s the first to find him: Parker Hamilton. He’s good-looking, smart, cultured–and a doctor. Despite his obvious credentials, Cassie’s not taking any chances. She’s vetted Parker so thoroughly she could offer some pointers to the CIA. Needless to say, he passes with flying colors.
Things get complicated when Will Jordan, her irritating work colleague, muscles in on her dream job and her love life. Will is a typical guy, complete with nicknames for everyone, even Cassie. His good looks and relaxed, easy nature can be distracting. But Cassie can do without that kind of distraction right now, no matter how good Will looks with his shirt off.

This is the first book I’ve read by Kate O’Keeffe, from the reviews I was excited to see how the story was.
It was funny, cute and totally relatable. How many guys have you dated trying to be who you thought you needed to be for them to like you? Me too many to count, so I could relate to Cassie (the female lead of this story) trying to cook a perfect meal, she can’t cook ordered a meal to pass as your own and learning a sport or even not yourself, laughing at jokes that aren’t funny or just pretending. And the blurting out “I love you” first, I’m still embarrassed about that one time, we don’t ever talk about it, it’s in the embarrassment vault.
When you’re chasing after that you think you want, what you need is right in front of you the whole time. Love the dynamics between Cassie, Parker and Will. Have to read the book to find out for yourself, no cheating.
This was such a cute read! Highly recommend!
Cute lighthearted romance novel
Cute and fun. Quick read.
3,5* – Enjoyable, funny, a little bit twisted chick-lit
When I read it I felt like I was watching some romantic comedy with all its twisted and messy plot. Messy in a good way, don’t get me wrong. I liked it so much so I read it till the very late hours of the night. Maybe because of the trope already used so many times it was obvious to me from several chapters in what could be the outcome of the whole story. But what was really funny and entertaining was the fact that heroine was so stubborn and fixed on the Last First Date outcome that she was oblivious to what was happening all around her. There were a little bit of heartbreak, some romantic gestures and some troubles between best friends but all in all the read was sweet, light, quite clean and entertaining.
She has had enough of dating and she decides that he will be the one for her, but there is another who is a pain with a strong chest. They are annoying while she ties to catch the other one. which one will she end up with? Will she end up with none? Follow her to see
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tended to drag throughout. Hard to get into. A little disappointing.
