Join Bestselling Author Kelly Collins on another trip to Aspen Cove where anything is possible when it comes to love… boyfriend. No job. No options. As a favor to her sister, she arrives in the small mountain town for a temporary job as the clinic doctor. Her first question when she gets there is ‘how fast can I leave?’ That is, until sinfully, sexy Wes Covington comes into the clinic seeking care. With him around Lydia may have found a reason to stay—for now.
Wes Covington left his demons in Denver. Working for his family’s architectural firm, he was tired of being almost—almost good enough—almost rich enough—almost loveable enough. He abandoned his penthouse, his high-paying position and his Porsche for simple, small-town life. All he wants is to restore his ancestral home and find a good woman who’ll love him for who he is and not what he’s worth. When Wes meets Dr. Lydia Nichols, he likens her to a hellion with a halo. She’s the perfect mix of sassy and sweet, cunning and compassion, but she’ll never be his unless he can convince her to stay.
Love blooms when the timing is right, but will Lydia surrender her chance at love or can Wes convince her that everything she’ll ever want or need is right in Aspen Cove?

I really should know by now that when I visit Aspen Cove, my heart is going to get wrenched around in my chest. On a related note, have the tissues handy just in case. I have been looking forward to Lydia’s story since we first met her in Sage and Cannon’s book. We hadn’t had much of a chance to get to know Wes prior to this and I loved having this opportunity to do just that. This was truly an ‘opposites attract’ story and I got so much enjoyment out of watching Wes and Lydia find their common ground. After reading the teaser chapter for the next book, I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

OMGosh! This was so flipping hilarious. I laughed so hard throughout this book. At times, I had to put the book aside as I couldn’t stop laughing (okay laughing so hard, I was snorting!) The story is written in a dual POV which makes reading so much more enjoyable for me. Getting to know these two characters and reading their story made the book just fly by. I LOVED it. I will definitely be re-reading this one again and again. We all need laughter in our lives and this one delivers.
My heart just swooned for Wes (and lets not forget his dog Sarge!) He knew to just want to do to make Lydia and me fall in love with him. Lydia was just a great. She was strong and compassionate and totally lovable. Yep, get your Depends out and get ready to have a great time reading this one!
ONE HUNDRED PROMISES is a wonderful, feel-good romance set in small town USA. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the writing. I’ll definitely be reading more books by the author.
The book tackles some serious issues but does so with a light touch, so the story is never mired in a pool of angst. This book tackles many life challenges we all face. What do we want? What do we need? How far should we go in pursuit of either? Wes has already taken this journey and he has found both what he wants and needs in Aspen Cove. Aspen Cove is not where Lydia thought she’d end up and she is treating her time there is temporary.
Wes and Lydia’s romance was a pleasure to read. They have fun together, they’re physically dynamite together and they appreciate one another. Even the prospect of Lydia leaving is handled with a refreshing maturity.
There’s a lovely cast of supporting characters that give Aspen Cove its own personality and as much as they add to the story, they never take over; the focus is firmly on Lydia and Wes.

My Review:
I giggle-snorted and smirked my way through this delightfully amusing and entertaining tale. Ms. Collin’s prodigious wit and humorous observations were in top form and sparkled throughout. Clever wordplay, snappy banter, and convivial teasing were deftly woven into engaging and well-crafted storylines that cleverly knitted in threads from the previous books without causing confusion and still allowed this installment to standalone. I adored Lydia and Wes; they brought out the best in each other and may well be my favorites of all of Aspen Cove, although they do have stiff competition as the community appears to be populated with the quirkiest of residents.
This is the first book I’ve read by Kelly Collins, and I must say, I wish I would have sooner. I did not know this was a book in a series, but you can bet your vertical smile I’ll be reading the others in the series and others by this author.
One hundred promises is a story about a woman who grew up to fast due to tragedy, always thinking she needed a title, money, etc to feel she was successful, when all she needs deep down is to feel wanted, needed, and loved. That the fast paced life she thought was her dream was anything but.
The story is also about a man who had all he thought he wanted and realized he still wasn’t happy. So he had decided small town living was what he wanted, but felt not enough or almost. Will the woman find there’s more to life than a job working 14-36 hrs a day to be successful, and the man find that he is enough and not almost to actually be happy? Read to find out. I recommend this book and this author even only reading this one. Ms. Collins has made me a fan.

This is the 4th book in the Aspen Cove romance reads.
You don’t have to read them in order but I would because
you get more of a filling of what is going on in the town.
This book kept me turning the pages to see if Lydia and Wes
would be able to have their Happy ending and all the things
in between the start of the book to the end to find out what
I mean you will have to read it yourself.

A well-written story that held my interest until the last page, part of the An Aspen Cove Romance series. When this series is finished I know these are books I want to read again. Lydia Nichols and Wes Covington’s story had me smiling at some of the things that happen in the book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Such a heartfelt romance again in the welcoming surroundings of Aspen Cove.
I was worried about Lydia when she previously made short appearances in Aspen Cove. It was already obvious then she wasn’t all right with how her life stood. This is her and Wes’s story.
This time I learned what happened with Lydia since her parents died and she took up the task to be the pillar of her remaining very small family consisted of her sister Sage and their grandmother.
That meant she had to grow up overnight and she couldn’t really found the time to really process the great loss she suffered ever since. She compertmentalized her grief without even knowing that’s what she did, but this was her way to go on. She tired herself beyond bearable measures while her studies and residency lasted. But as it turned out an unfortunate relationship and more unfortunate and rather public break-up with your boss isn’t really a sure way to get a permanent job offer.
Lydia is out of options so she takes an offer to be a temporary doctor in Aspen Cove. She has a bit of experience already with the place and the people from previous visits as her sister Sage moved there a while ago. She is determined to find a permanent job in a big city environment.
She meets Wes when he visits the small clinic in need of a few stiches.
Wes is a great guy. I can only think of one word to describe his character: generous. His generosity shows every time he does his job either as a constructor or an architect. It also shows in his private life, in his relationship with his ex or in his friendships. He is also a guy who knows how it feels when you aren’t where you really want to be, if you feel you settled for less than your lifelong dream.
Lydia and Wes have great chemistry from the start. They also have a lot of confusions of what to think of it at all. About what they want their lives should be. Despite all questions and concerns they fall head over heels in love.
I liked how Lydia found her lost joy of life while in Aspen Cove, how her spunk and wicked strike returned. I loved how she fit right in with her helpfulness and sensitivity. She was a strong female lead character.
Out of the two of them Lydia is the one who needs to find the answers to her life’s important questions. Wes is so supportive and he guides her through this learning curve with his loyality and integrity. That is what I liked in Wes’s character the best.
All the while they are in picturesque Aspen Cove where they always take care of their own. The community once again shows how powerful the feeling of belonging can be.
I loved this story. The writing was very good – but I think it’s a given with Kelly Collins.
Another great addition to the Aspen Cove series I wholeheartedly recommend to read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this hilarious, small-town romance. From the opening chapter, the book was filled with surprises and delightful dialogue. Lydia and Wes’ initial meeting was less than stellar, however as they grew to know one another, they found common ground and both were forced to alter their opinions of the other. I enjoyed the slow build up of their romance and then Wes’ strategic wooing of Lydia. I was reminded of the Mother Superior’s words from the Sound of Music, where she tells Maria that “When God closes a door, He opens a window”. While Wes understood this principle, Lydia took a little longer to come to terms with her career path and her plans for the future. I enjoyed the appearance of previous characters from the series in this book and catching up with their lives. It was like a family reunion. Wes is a heart-stopping hero and I loved Lydia’s wacky sense of humour and her ability to laugh at herself. Although this book is part of a series, it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a happy and fulfilling ending. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Small town sweet read. This was interesting and well written. The characters and the storyline were well thought out. I received it for an honest review from booksprout.
Another wonderful visit to Aspen Cove from Kelly Collins! In this story we again meet Sage’s sister, Dr. Lydia Nichols. Lydia has moved to Aspen Cove after losing her boyfriend and job at Denver General Hospital. She is now filling in for Doc, at the clinic, two days a week while he recovers. This is not how her life was planned…she should be working in a big city hospital emergency room dealing with life and death situations instead of a young girl who has put a Skittle up her nose. One of her first patients is Wes Covington who has injured himself at his construction site. Wes has his own issues as he finds himself thinking more and more about Lydia. He knows she does not plan to stay. Can he show her that she belongs in Aspen Cove? Will he be “enough” for her to give up her plans? Lydia finds herself interested in Wes, who is HOT, but knows that she will soon be leaving when a serious job offer comes along. We have updates on the interesting and engaging characters while Lydia finds herself getting more involved with Wes, and his dog Sarge, than she planned. Will she fall in love with Wes? Will she fall in love with Aspen Cove? Will she stay? The books in this series make you eagerly look forward to the next…and the next. There is always a twist in the story that keeps you guessing until the last page. I had to force myself to stop reading so as to save some of the book for the next day. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
I was given an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is Kelly’s fourth Aspen Cove story…. and another wonderful read, that once I started, I could not put down.
Lydia and Wes are completely relatable characters, and the entire series makes you wish Aspen Cove was a place you could actually go and visit.
Kelly Collins is back with her Aspen Cove series and we see more of what kind of a guy Wes is. What I loved about this one is that we see Lydia with a big decision to make and Wes gives her the patience yet guidance she needs. All in all it was a sweet romance filled with beautiful characters, hard choices to make and a life of possibilities. A great series to read and an author that will make you want to move to this small town.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
This story made me smile, it made my heart break, and it put me back together. I loved every single second of this book. I fell in love with Lydia and Wes from the very beginning of this book.
Wes is an amazing man. He’s had it all at one time, now he just wants a quiet humble life. He’s a good man. He’s not looking for short term. He wants someone that will be by his side day in and day out. Right now the only thing consistent in his life is Sarge. When an accident causes Wes to need treatment from the new doctor in town, he got way more than he bargained for.
Lydia, I love her. She knows what she wants, but a bad decision may make that hard to reach. Lydia wants bigger and better, far more than she will get from being a small town physician. There were times I was upset with Lydia. She couldn’t seem to look past what could have been to what was right in front of her. Once she finally did, she saw that maybe there was more to life than constant movement.
I hate to admit this, but I’m new to Kelly Collins. That being said, she has a new fan. I sincerely loved this story. I enjoyed watching the fall, from both sides. Kelly did an amazing job keeping me sucked into this story, but it honestly wasn’t that hard. I enjoyed every minute of this story and I know you all will as well.
One Hundred Promises by Kelly Collins is book four in her Aspen Cove Series. It is the first book that I’ve read by this author and can definitely be read a standalone.
This contemporary romance follows Dr. Lydia Nichols as she joins her sister as a temporary doctor at a small town clinic while dealing with a terrible break-up and job loss. Lydia has big city dreams. She’s searching for something bigger and better and plans to leave Aspen Cove as soon as possible.
Wes Covington, architect and builder, is one of Lydia’s first patients. He once had the type of city lifestyle that Lydia desires, but it didn’t make him happy. So he left it all behind finding happiness in Aspen Cove.
I enjoyed the chemistry between Lydia and Wes. Although they got off to a rocky start, there was an immediate attraction. I enjoyed watching them find common ground as they got to know each other better, fall in love, and find their HEA.
* I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. *
I loved this book a lot. It captivated me from the beginning. I loved the chemistry between Wes and Lydia. Loved the storyline and all the characters living in Aspen Cove. The book is well written and fast paced. Can’t wait to see what Kelly comes up with next.

FANTASTIC!
A captivating read that grabs hold of you right from the start! A beautifully written storyline that is emotionally gripping, you can feel the pain and sorrow and the excitement of laughter as it hits you deep within sending your heart racing enjoying every turn of the page and the endless emotions this amazing story puts you through! Engrossing twists, sweet, exciting, passion filled chemistry and hard to put down! An amazing must read!
This is the fourth book in the Aspen Cove series. While it’s a standalone, the series is super fun so you should find the rest of the series to read! The whole series gives you a reason to fall in love with small towns with all the quirk that goes with it.
One Hundred Promises takes us through the adventure of Doctor Lydia Nichols as she deals with both a breakup and job loss. She joins her sister Sage, who we met in One Hundred Reasons, book one, in Aspen Cove as a temporary doctor. She’s got to learn what makes her happy and how to be herself and what her new path in life will be.
One of Dr. Nichols’s first patients is Wes Covington. He’s an architect who had the fancy city life and all the glitz and glam that went with it, when he realized his happiness wasn’t there, but in the small town of Aspen Cove. Lydia and Wes butt heads from the very beginning, but simultaneously hit it off. I loved Wes’s unending opptomism and small town charm and easy nature. Lydia is like many of us, not quite sure of their place in life, busy taking care of those around them, but too busy or unsure of how to take charge of their own life and happiness. The town and it’s citizens are a character in their own right, providing lots of laughs.
I loved Wes and Lydia’s first interactions, both at the doctor office and bar. Big words do it for me. 🙂 And Wes’s dog agrees with Wes that Lydia is the person for them. So while this book make not totally set your sheets on fire, the romance and heart going into their relationship make it a touching read.
I think this was a solid, well written book by Kelli Collins. I wasn’t super sucked into the book, but it kept me interested and built very well on the one other book in the series I have had the pleasure of reading and reviewing. I loved all the small town bits-coming from a town of five thousand there are lots of reasons to love and hate them. I definitely liked the characters in this book better than the first one.
It is a great story about finding the person who makes you better, and gives you hope that each day will be better when you’re at your best and have love. This is a great read about fighting to find your love and yourself and I hope you all enjoy it too! I need to take the time to find books two and three to read them-I really want to know about the bakery owner!
