Join Bestselling Author Kelly Collins on another trip to Aspen Cove where anything is possible when it comes to love… boyfriend. No job. No options. As a favor to her sister, she arrives in the small mountain town for a temporary job as the clinic doctor. Her first question when she gets there is ‘how fast can I leave?’ That is, until sinfully, sexy Wes Covington comes into the clinic seeking care. With him around Lydia may have found a reason to stay—for now.
Wes Covington left his demons in Denver. Working for his family’s architectural firm, he was tired of being almost—almost good enough—almost rich enough—almost loveable enough. He abandoned his penthouse, his high-paying position and his Porsche for simple, small-town life. All he wants is to restore his ancestral home and find a good woman who’ll love him for who he is and not what he’s worth. When Wes meets Dr. Lydia Nichols, he likens her to a hellion with a halo. She’s the perfect mix of sassy and sweet, cunning and compassion, but she’ll never be his unless he can convince her to stay.
Love blooms when the timing is right, but will Lydia surrender her chance at love or can Wes convince her that everything she’ll ever want or need is right in Aspen Cove?

One Hundred Promises (Aspen Cove #4) was a good read by Kelly Collins. Lydia Nichol’s finished her residency at Denver General Hospital when life delivered several blows she never expected. Her boss, and long time boyfriend, moved on with a nurse and took Lydia’s job with him. She now has no job and no options, so she moves to Aspen Cove as a favor to her sister. She takes a temporary job as the clinic doctor. She wants to leave almost immediately, that is until she meets Wes Covington. She may have just found her reason to stay for the time being. Wes Covington left everything behind in Denver for a simple small town life. He is restoring his ancestral home and wants to find a good woman who’ll love him for who he is and not what he’s worth. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
I really enjoyed this book. I didn’t think I would like Lydia at first, but I was so wrong. I had the impression that Lydia was was so formal, stiff, uber professional, and a bit snobby. All Lydia needed was Wes and Sarge to bring out the fun loving prankster in her.
Wes and Lydia were so good together. I love how Lydia did not overreact when Wes’ wife showed up. I enjoyed some of the great sayings that were scattered throughout the book. There was one in particular about men being like Bluetooth.
This was a sweet, steamy, fun romance. The Aspen Cove series keeps getting better and better. I have read some books and listened to the Audio version of others. Either way, they are good reads.
Lydia’s story was everything and more than I had hoped for. She was so caustic and rude in the previous stories I wondered if she had any nice in her. Wes certainly brought out her nice and mad her rough edges smooth.
I am looking forward to more Aspen Cove.
Logan McAllister is a great job narrating.
I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

One Hundred Promises
An Aspen Cove Romance, Book 4
By: Kelly Collins
Narrated by: Logan McAllister
Kelly Collins delivers another wonderful “Aspen Cove Romance” novel. This is the fourth in her series and I loved every single one. Each novel is set in Aspen Cove and features a different couple, characters from earlier books reappear in each novel too. Not unusual since Aspen Cove is a tight knit community and they look out for each other. This is Wes and Lydia’s story, Lydia is Sage’s sister, she is a doctor who just finished med school and planned on working in the city hospital but poor decisions and a bad breakup ruined those plans. While applying for positions in other hospitals she comes to stay in Aspen Coven to cover for Doc Parker who was injured in a fire. Small town is not her thing but it will have to do for now and the big plus she is near her sister again. Wes, left his big job in the big city to be closer to his roots and to restore a home that has been in his family for years. He cuts himself badly while working and goes to the clinic to get stitched up. Lydia goes to treat him, but when he sees the needle he faints. When she gets buzzed out of the apartment she was staying in because of a bee takeover with no rooms available at the inn or anywhere in town Wes was nice enough to let her stay in one of his rooms. I loved these two together, the chemistry between them was smoking. It was great how honest they were with each other, how they could just be themselves. Also loved how level headed Wes was, doing the right thing and letting her go so she could live her dream. And it just goes to show you dreams changes and what we thought we wanted is not what we wanted at all. I loved how their story played out, Kelly Collins is a master at writing and plotting beautiful stories that are relatable and realistic. She brings you into the characters world, allows you to see and feel what they are going through, the ups, the downs, the smiles along the way and most importantly at the end. Thank you for another great story, I am looking forward to the next one, I hope there are plans for it to come to Audible soon.
I listened to the Audible edition, Logan McAllister is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He does a great job projecting the emotions of the characters into his performance, as well as he drama of the story. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen
I have come to love listening to this series, and this one did not disappoint.
Lydia Nichols is the sister of Sage, the protagonist and nurse featured in book one. Lydia was hoping to get a job in Denver hospital after her residency, but when her boss/boyfriend drops her, and she loses her boyfriend and her job.
Reluctantly , Lydia goes to visit Sage in Aspen Cove and starts working part time at the local clinic.
There she meets Wes Covington, successful architect who too has left Denver , but by choice . The chemistry is immediate and the relationship develops, but Lydia has no desire to stay in Aspen Cove and Wes has chosen to make a new life in Aspen Cove.
Can these two find their HEA in Aspen Cove, or will Lydia’s determination to be doctor extraordinaire in a big hospital win out?
Another engaging story in this series. Though a stand alone, I highly recommend the previous books/audiobooks in this series.
Another winner in the Aspen Cove series. It was nice to finally get to really know Lydia. She is a strong, smart, successful woman but in dire need of recognizing what is truly important in life. It takes her a while to finally get her priorities in the right order and learn to love life instead of just existing. Wes is a swoon-worthy man–smart, successful, sure of his manhood without being an arrogant alpha, caring, compassionate, and romantic. Plus, he “kisses like a porn star.”
I enjoyed getting a better glimpse of Doc and Agatha. I loved Sarge. It was nice to catch up with the people and happenings in my favorite Colorado town.
I highly recommend reading One Hundred Promises. While each of the stories in this series is a standalone, I urge you to read the entire series starting with One Hundred Reasons. The series will be more enjoyable if read in order since the characters appear in all the books.
I really enjoy these small town romances and Aspen Cove is one of my favorite series. Each book stands alone however I recommend reading them in order because the Aspen Cove characters appear throughout the series. Lydia is a doctor and is the older sister to Sage from the first book. She has lost her position at the hospital and her relationship with her doctor boyfriend has ended as well. She has come to stay in town with her sister but really has no desire to do so. Wes is in Aspen Cove by choice. He was burnt out on the grind of living and working in a big city and wants to make a life for himself in Aspen Cove. What this story is about is can two people that like each other, are attracted to each other but have different career goals make a relationship work? Well you’re going to have to read the book to find out the answer! One Hundred Promises is written from dual POV and it’s sweet with heat, a tiny bit of angst and plenty of humor. It’s a solid 4 1/2 star romance in my opinion.
I received an ARC of this book and was thrilled to read it. All I can say is, I want to live in Aspen Cove! I love small town romances and this is my first set in Colorado. Lydia is a big city doctor who comes to small town Aspen Cove to temporarily help in her sisters medical clinic. Instead of long hours in a bustling hospital, Lydia was met with a kid with a skittle up her nose and Ray the older Casanova who simply stops in with a made up issue just to get a look at the hot young doctor. But when sweet and swoony, Wes Covington, walks into the clinic sporting a deep cut on his hand, little does Lydia know that her life will never be the same. Kelly Collins blends the perfect mix of interesting side characters, small town heart and chemistry between Wes and Lydia to bring a winning combination. Throw in Sarge, the retired police dog, and you have story with all the feels. Wes and Lydia’s story is one of self discovery and finding what truly makes your hear and soul happy. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
