One Hundred Goodbyes is the ninth book in the Aspen Cove Romance series, and while the characters are interconnected, the romance stands alone. Eden agreed to be a surrogate for her sister, but now her sister doesn’t want the baby. Just as her life feels like it’s starting to fall apart, Eden stumbles into Aspen Cove, where she meets Thomas and a whole town of kindness. But just as things start coming together for Eden and Thomas, her sister comes back. Will this baby be the glue that holds everyone together, or will Eden and Thomas lose everything?
Oh my goodness, this book is pure and sweet and full of love! It’s amazing what kindness can do, what selflessness can do, and what love can do! Eden and Thomas are absolutely adorable together, helping each other through some difficult times, bringing light into each other’s lives. What I loved most about Eden is that she could see the good in everyone, but never expected to feel that kindness from others. It was almost a contradiction, but I loved how the people of Aspen Cove just kept surprising her again and again! Thomas had a heartbreaking past with his ex, but I loved watching him bloom again with love and realizing how lonely he had actually become. I loved that this town just rallied around this couple, that this couple had to go through some ups and downs before they could become a family, and I just… really loved the sweetness and messages behind this story!
Eden is not having the best week. First she loses her job after refusing a jerks advances then her sister drops a bombshell that changes her world forever. So what is a girl to do but pack her stuff and try to find a way to moving. Things are a little different for Eden though since she is eight months pregnant and oh so alone. By happenstance she finds herself in a place called Asoen Cove and this is where her story starts to get better even though at first it gets a little worse.
Thomas has been burned in love and refuses to take that risk again. He is quite content in his house that he is remodeling as his bachelor pad and having the occasional hookup he knows it’s better to keep his heart closed off once bitten twice shy and all that. Soon his life changes though in the way of a beautiful blonde with a bump and an elusive box of doughnuts.
These two a thrust together by a meddling doctor and some circumstances out of everyones control and no matter how much Thomas fights his attraction to Eden will not be silenced. Once the truth if Edens current situation is revealed and Thomas shares his past pain these two dinars a way to bond and to toe towards a relationship. However sometimes the worst thing possible can happen and what was their hea is threatened by a vindictive sister with a me complex. Thomas refuses to lose his hea and Eden will never give up on her new family so they fight to keep it but will they be granted their wish or will they lose a part of their love that can never be replaced.
This book was amazing and sweet and just perfect. These two are fighters and with a whole town behind them its amazing to read their hea. Author did such an amazing job! Such a beautiful story.

Kelly Collins has once again created a well written story about second chances and new beginnings in the town of Aspen Cove and the return of towns people readers fell in love with from the beginning as well as a few new characters. Eden is a single pregnant woman who finds herself in a pickle and medically forced to stay in Aspen Cove. Thomas is the deputy fire chief who has sworn off women because of a broken heart. When the tow are thrown together as roommates, sparks fly, hearts are healed, and Eden and Thomas find something they have both wanted but never been able to find… a family and unfailing love. One Hundred Goodbyes is a fantastic, heartwarming story filled with heartache, laughter, a community that’s more like family, healing, fear, passion, and love. Readers will once again fall in love with the towns folk of Aspen Cove and won’t want to put this new novel down.

I know I have probably said this before, but this series just keeps getting better and better! I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one sitting! Eden Webster has always tried to earn the love and respect of her older sister, Suzanne. She agreed to bear a child for Suzanne and her husband and now finds herself eight months pregnant and stranded in Aspen Cove. Thomas Cross, firefighter, finds Eden about to collapse and takes her to Doc Parker’s clinic. When due to her pregnancy she is unable to continue her journey, Thomas agrees to let her live in his home until it is safe for her to travel. Thomas was dealt a severe blow years ago by his fiancée and was not ready to share his home with Eden, an engaging and lovable woman whose courage and integrity are winning over his heart. When Eden’s past comes back to haunt her, and she is threatened with losing her baby, Thomas and the entire town will step up to protect her…she is now one of them and the people of Aspen Cove takes care of their own. I loved it (as I have the entire series) and can’t wait for book #10! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)
I have stuck with this series since the very beginning. Every story is a stand-alone but I do recommend reading in order or you’ll be dealing with major spoilers… that being said, I love the twist we got with this one and how it really highlighted different family types! Fall in love with Aspen Cove and Kelly Collins’ characters one beautiful story after another!

I loved this book! It’s probably one of my favorites in the Aspen Cove series! I really enjoyed reading Thomas’s love story. He was a fireman in Aspen Cove with his bachelor pad and his prized man cave. Then all of a sudden, a beautiful pregnant women comes barreling thru town looking for her food she craves. Will Thomas give up his bachelor life for a pregnant women and face his fears of finding love?
I love any excuse I can get to return to Aspen Cove. But, oy! This pair. Eden and Thomas both have their own wagon trains of emotional baggage they’re bringing along. Single and pregnant, Eden stumbles into Aspen Cove while trying to get ahead of the chaos her life has become. In typical Aspen Cove fashion, the town enfolds her as one of their own. Everything about Eden lights sparks in Thomas, but not all of them are good because Eden and her situation cuts too close to part of his own past that he’d rather forget. There is so much chemistry between these two. And I adored watching the way the town rallied around them. (And how hard they worked to put Eden and Thomas together in the first place.) The little stinger at the end of this story makes me absolutely rabid to get my hands on the next book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Eden Webster didn’t expect that her sister would abandon her eight months into her agreeing to carry her surrogate baby when she decides she no longer wants it. When she loses her job and her apartment, she decides to drive to Alaska to stay with her grandmother and ends up breaking down in Aspen Cover, where the townspeople immediately embrace her and take in like family. Bachelor firefighter Thomas Cross has been burned by women before, so he doesn’t want to be the one responsible for Eden, but he can’t say. The more time he spends with her, the more she and her unborn child wrap themselves around his heart. Thomas was so sweet and I love how he was willing to give up his man cave for Eden. Her sister was a selfish piece of work. The townspeople were wonderful and it was great to catch up with the characters from the previous books in the series.
Love this story, Eden agreed to carry a baby for her sister. Now she is on her own with only a few weeks to delivery with no job no place to live and not much money. She is headed o Alaska from Denver to stay with an Aunt when her plans go wrong and she finds herself stuck in Aspen Cove, CO. Doc states she can’t leave until after the baby comes or she and it are medically in danger.
Join Eden and all the people on the cove as she try to put her life back in order.

Having a medical emergency in Aspen Cove is not the worst thing that could happen to a girl, especially if Doc Parker is treating her. Only Eden didn’t know that at the time. Having firefighter Thomas Cross as her protector is no hardship either, except that he’s sworn off women, relationships and long term commitments. However, Thomas quickly realises that Eden is nothing like his ex and as her story unravels, he finds himself reevaluating his standpoint, with the help of his friends, who care more for his well-being than he could have imagined. Sharing his home with Eden opens Thomas’ eyes to the possibility of a new and exciting life until Eden’s sister throws a spanner in the works. This novel is well written, emotive and romantic without prolonged steamy bedroom scenes. The people of Aspen Cove step up to the plate once again, having all benefited from the precedent set by a generous old lady who loved the people of Aspen Cove even beyond the grave. There is wit and laugh out loud moments that had me reading portions out to my husband, although he did shudder at some of the descriptions – that only a woman would find funny! This is a really enjoyable book and leaves one feeling hopeful. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Oh what a book! I just love reading about the citizens of Aspen Cove!! I love the storyline and all the characters. Will definitely look out for the other books in this series. Highly recommend!!

Part of the reason that I keep coming back to Aspen Cove is that, the series never puts a foot wrong. Collins finds the sun even when it hides behind storm clouds. One Hundred Goodbyes serves as a beacon of hope to all the brokenhearted dreamers in the world. Eden is determined to see the positive, when dealing with the negativity that threatens to drown her. Collins makes her own rainbow. Heart, wisdom and hope deliver a colorful ray of sunshine to chase away the blues.
Eden finds herself in a bad situation. Alone with no money and bills piling up, she makes a decision to drive to Alaska to be with her aunt. Along the way she is way laid by cramps and has to be taken to see a doctor who she tells her story to. Being a wise man he seeks out Thomas to come to her aid. What starts out as a bad idea in Thomas mind turns out to be the balm he needs to jump start his life. Helping Eden changes his outlook on life but as they get closer, Eden’s sister makes a comeback which could throw a wrench in their budding romance.

It’s so much fun to read another book in this series. I want to live in Aspen Cove! People are wonderful, know how to work out their own problems, and, they actually feel like a community of diverse people who bond together for each other. Who wouldn’t love a small town Doctor who is there for you; who wouldn’t love to have a cute Bed and Breakfast to house guests;and, who wouldn’t love to be part of the bonding in Aspen Cove with those who could walk into a bakery and post a note on the “wishing wall”… we would all love it. Eden had nowhere to turn; pregnant with little money; and not one person she could turn to….except when she fell at the feet of a cute, strong fireman. I loved this story that made me smile, laugh and enjoy every minute of the read. Thanks to this author, I received an early ARC copy which I loved.
