It’s just one crazy week… wants to whisk me away for a week. No strings, no expectations. Just one crazy week with the hottest man I’ve ever laid eyes on. And it isn’t supposed to mean anything.
But the more time I spend with him, the more I realize he’s not just a hottie with a naughty body. He’s someone I’m falling for … hard.
We come from different worlds, and I don’t know if I can handle it. The only thing I know for sure—it definitely must be crazy.

Jackson can take me away any day! I loved Melissa and Jackson from their first interaction! Their banter and Twitter flirting had me cackling throughout this book. Claire Kingsley never disappoints. Her books always have me cheesy smiling throughout the whole book. And boy was this one steamy. Kindle on fire! Great book. On to the next one in the series!
Loved this book and all of the Jetty Beach series.
Melissa teacher as same small school she grew up in with no social life so her friend talks her into doing a profile on a dating app. She immediately gets 3 responses and after she opens third one on to find a photo of his junk she slams her computer shut and decides to go to the local bar for a drink.
Jackson is in town to purchase the art gallery and is bored to death until he stumbles across a dingy bar and decides to check it out. When he schooled on Scotch by a smoking hot woman he can’t believe she turned down his advances. But, when she comments on his Twitter post it’s game on.
All I can say is WOW! Amazing story. Steamy hot ! All I want to know is where I can get me a Jackson!!!! This deserves 10 stars . If you haven’t read anything by Claire Kingsley you are missing out on the best steamy romances of all time.
I really liked this unlikely pair. These narrators though; a couple times I had to reread the blurb to see if this is YA/NA
I absolutely loved the love story between Melissa and Jackson. Where the last book was realistic, this one was straight out of a dream. Their spontaneous week away together was fun to read. And I adored all the Twitter banter. I was annoyed by the very end though. The gift was great and super thoughtful, but the whole thing was really cliched.
So, a man walks into a bar…yeah that’s how it all began. Melissa Simon and Jackson Bennett have off -the-wall chemistry from the minute they meet. Melissa swears like a sailor, loves her scotch and is a dirty lusty woman. You’d never know she’s an elementary school teacher. Jackson has it all; money, power, charisma and sex appeal in spades. When Melissa practically knocks him off his barstool by saying no to him, it’s challenge accepted! Their steamy week together leads to more. More than she ever wanted to know about lifestyles of the rich and famous. More for him wanting to have this woman forever because he has a hollow spot in his life without her. Their live their lives on very opposite ends of a broad spectrum but a surprising turn of events will change them both forever.
The teacher tames the playboy. Melissa is a sassy girl who talks to Jackson like no one else dares. She needs a little fun, and Jackson is happy to sweep her away for it. Love with a billionaire has complications though. I really enjoyed the heat between these two- seriously smoking! I love the fun they are able to have with each other. Even more, I love Jackson’s sweet tender side when it comes to Melissa. They both have to make some changes to make their HEA work, and they have to overcome some challenges to get to that point. I love the emotion in this book, it is hard for me to describe. Beautiful settings, serious steaminess, and a surprise make this book a real treat. 5 terrific stars.
4.5 stars. The second book of the series. It can be read as a stand alone, but you see some of the other characters I liked Jackson and Melissa’s connection. Pretty much instantly. This is a quick, fun read about opposites. Surprises are always fun too.
Love Unexpected
Well, well, well. Jackson and Melissa, or should I say Captain and Sassy Girl…
We already know from Book 1 in this Jetty Beach Series that Melissa shoots straight from the hip. She’s got a foul mouth and there is no shame. I absolutely adored her.
Jackson “Mr. Billionaire” has met his match. He can’t handle Melissa the way he’s used to dealing with people, but wouldn’t you know it? That’s one of the reasons he’s so drawn to her.
He comes up with this crazy idea of spending time together and proceeds to sweep Melissa off her feet…
There are a few expected obstacles being that these two are like night & day; there’s a little surprise, but all in all, I love these two. I also love how Jackson steps up without provocation and proves to be the man Melissa needs him to be. Another SuperCouple for Claire Kingsley.
