What’s the worst present you can get for your 45th birthday? An online dating profile you didn’t want. And Mack was all set to delete it, until a message from Hayden lands in his inbox. Hayden decided the best way to celebrate ending a long, loveless marriage was to have a one-night stand. Pity she didn’t count on a sexy, fire chief foiling her plans. Neither of them wanted a relationship, such a … relationship, such a shame fate didn’t get the memo.

Oh man, I can’t tell you how much I missed Riley and Quinn from the ‘Send Me Crazy’.
You get to see them with the Hottie 45 year old Fire Chief Mack along with all other fun firemen. These characters are completely irresistible.
I absolutely LOVED getting to know Mack at a more intimate level and holy cow did T Gephart deliver! My heart melted time after time with him.
Hayden, who after a divorce from a boring/neglecting husband, is trying to become the woman she used to be. Strong, carefree and happy.
Both divorced and looking for a fling only to go on to a smoking hot ride together (pun completely intended ).
Even though this is book 2 of the series they both can be read as stand alone but you don’t want to miss either one since they are so amazing. This one is a little more contemporary romance than prior book with comedy thrown in and a slight twist and a dash of suspense.
I couldn’t get enough of Mack and Hayden. This is a very addictive read and you will love every minute!
This is a good story. Very enjoyable! Not as fun and intriguing as the first in the series. But it holds it own. A lot of characters come in play in here. Firefighters, exes and our old favorites Riley and Quinn. The first meeting with Quinn and Hayden just cracked me up! That Quinn is a riot!
I listened to this on audio. The narrators did a good job. I look forward to Presley and Tibbs!
I absolutely loved Hayden and Mack’s story. An online dating app that can lead to a HEA. Awesome character depth brings this story to life. Love the banter with Mack and all the boys from the firehouse. Lots of love for this story!!
One Click Love is the 2nd book in the Hot in the City series and like the first book I enjoyed it. We would have already met Mac in book 1 and I was really happy he got his own story. This novel was sweet and swoony and included both romantic comedy and romantic suspense tropes into one enjoyable tale.
The characters were both likable, and had their own flaws and insecurities which made them so much more relatable. I loved that Mack and Hayden were over 40 and from their first meeting the chemistry and connection was present. I enjoyed their flirting and the banter between them.
The novel balances serious and comic moments perfectly, the suspense element had me anxiously turning the pages and it all kept me hooked until the end. You will be rooting for this couple throughout the story. Filled with heart, humor, hott scenes and so much more One-Click love was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.
OMFG!!! LOVE…LOVE…LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
ONE CLICK LOVE by Tina Gephart Left me SPEECHLESS and LAUGHING at the Same Time!!
Mack and Hayden Storytelling was Such an Adventure in its Own! It’s Not your Normal Dating Experience but one that will have you wondering what happened to Good Old-School meetings!
Hayden thought having a One-Night-Stand would bring her out of her funk after being divorced but after meeting Mack….well…Things Go Sideways Fast!!
ONE CLICK LOVE will have you laughing out loud, wanting to chock the Ex’s and having you on Edge wondering what’s going to happen Next…Especially with the Twist of Events towards the end!
I DEVOURED this BOOK and SWOONED over Mack!!
DEFINITELY a MUST Read BOOK!!
If you haven’t Read Any of Tina Gephart’s Books yet…WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?
After reading the first one in this series, I was so looking forward to reading Mack’s story. It definitely did not disappoint. A funny heartwarming story with an edge to it! Can’t wait to see what is next!
Mack is the head of the fire station and being divorced, he puts all of his energy into work but when his friends intervene and try to get him back in the dating scene, he can’t resist and just decides to go with the flow. When he first meets Hayden, it doesn’t go too well but the more both relax their attraction cannot be denied and it’s hard to resist each other… Even though Hayden is hesitant at first, as also being recently divorced, her date with Mack goes better than expected and a relationship soon develops between them. But both their pasts seem to still get in the way and when a threat looms over them, Mack will do whatever it takes to protect Hayden. Will they have the happy ending they both deserve?…
I love a good divorcee romance. I love the idea of people who feel like they have failed at love or love has let them down getting a second chance at it. This book is the perfect example of that. The characters are so vulnerable and raw at times. The author portrays often hard to express emotions beautifully through these characters. It’s a fun but egotism read.
I loved the first book of this series and I really thought it would be a difficult one to top but this book really managed that. It’s a great read. Beautifully engaging. Difficult to put down. Compelling story with excellent plot pacing. I really recommend it. Five stars.
This book was so adorable!!! I loved Mack in “Send Me Crazy” and I adore him even more j this book! He has a quiet intensity about him, but was also such a sweetheart! Thanks to Quinn (Riley’s wife) Mack has a profile on a dating website, and while he’s annoyed at first and doesn’t think anything will come of it, he’s pleasantly surprised when he comes across Hayden. She’s beautiful, curvy, sweet, sassy, kind.. basically everything his ex-wife wasn’t. Their first date ends in an unexpected way, but it leads them on such a loving journey!
Hayden is recently divorced and feels stuck. After a less than stellar marriage where she forgot who she was, she is determined to never again lose herself in a man. But after a date with the sexy fire cheif, her want of having only a one night stand goes up in smoke. (Pun definitely intended!)
Since they are both in their 40’s, these two know what it takes to make a relationship work, and seeing them be so honest and open was truly amazing. And although neither of them were looking for a relationship, they truly completed each other in the best of ways!
If you’re looking for a hilarious second chance at love with relatable characters and some wicked hot chemistry, this book is definitely for you!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
I want to be Hayden when I grow up! That girl is goals.
Hayden and Mack’s story was so amazingly written that I felt like it was real. It’s a tribute to the author that she was able to create such an incredible and detailed world. Do yourself a favour and read this book now!
What a fun book! I loved it from beginning to end! I loved the love story, loved the friends aspect, so many friends there, ready to help and support. And I loved that this is Mack’s story, the guy who mentored Riley from “Send Me Crazy”. As is to be expected, Riley and Quinn appear frequently in this book, crazy and lovable as always.
Mack continues to be the same gruff but kind individual, but in this story we get a better physical description of the man.
“John McPherson was a forty-five-year-old firefighter—it didn’t explicitly say but if the uniform shots were anything to go by—who gave new meaning to hot. He had a warm smile and kind eyes, but left nice on the side of the road and became something else. He was toned and muscular, his body obviously conditioned either for work or for pleasure. Please God, let it be pleasure.”
He was a real hottie silver fox! Both Hayden and Mack were coerced or tricked into a dating app by their close ones, and found each other. Once they connected, did their first reunion, it was all systems go.
I loved that Mack is a direct, no-nonsense man. What you see is what you get. And he wanted Hayden from the first moment he met her. Hayden had a different agenda. She was out from a divorce that killed all her self-esteem and her self-image. When the book starts, she’s a real hot mess, she sees herself as a muted, past-her-prime woman. And yet, Mack was blown away by her beauty and charm.
“When he looked at me it was like he saw something else, a different version of myself I didn’t know or hadn’t met. And he really liked that woman whoever she was.”
Hayden only wanted a one-night-stand, but with a man like Mack, that’s an impossible feat, you want this hottie for many, many flings! And once you get to know him, see him in his environment and with his friends, it was game set go for her.
I loved their story, laughed out loud at Riley’s antics, and rejoiced as Mack’s love changed Hayden’s self view. We get frequent appearances of Mack’s and Hayden’s work partners and some fun LOL times. We also see Mack bake a soufflé! There are several side issues happening that add some spice and a little suspense to the story, but the main event is Mack and Hayden falling in love. T. Gephart wrote a brilliant story, lighthearted, full of heart, vibrant and joyful. It was a wonderful feel-good story, and I loved, loved it.
I absolutely loved Mack in Send Me Crazy, so I was super excited that he got his own story……and it was so fantastic!! Hayden couldn’t have been more perfect for our lovable fire chief! It was just supposed to be a one night thing, but after that first night together, both Hayden and Mack knew one night would never be enough.
I personally haven’t read many romances about couples in their 40’s, but I have to say that it was super refreshing to see a couple not play games or have any major drama. Once they were all in, they were all in. I really just adored everything about Mack and Hayden and I couldn’t get enough of them!
One Click Love is another amazing read from T Gephart and I can’t wait to see what comes next for this group of characters!!
I’ve enjoyed every one of T Gephart’s books- this included. In fact, this one leaps right up with the top. The #1 series, the Collision series, and this one, Hot in the City series, are my top favs.
Specifically, I LOVE that this story is about 40-somethings. And though the H is quite a perfect specimen, the h is not – in her own eyes. She’s curvy & over 40, and has been convinced her low self esteem is accurate. Thank goodness for a man to SEE a woman for who she really is.
Another thing I always love about Gephart’s stories is that while there is so much potential for drawn out, unnecessary drama, her characters are always mature enough to have adult conversation. That doesn’t mean they do everything right, or that miscommunication doesn’t happen, but it’s not in a teenage-I’ll-show-you vindictive way, or a drama-filled-angst-because-someone- jumped-to-conclusions way.
Gephart’s writing is easy to read, well written and well structured.
These characters are everything. I devoured this story
This is book 2 in the series but is a stand alone. This book is about Mac, a sexy fire fighter you met in book 1. You loved him then but in this book you’ll not only love him, you’ll lust for him too cause he is on fire and sexy hot!
Hayden, we can relate to. I think many of us had had moments where we felt we weren’t enough or lose ourselves. These two together are combustible! They’re direct, funny and totally believable. Get ready to get lost in this world.
Oh my gosh, I have so much love for One Click Love!!! This is more than just a romcom. It’s a story of love when you least expect it. It gives you hope that love can be found.
It’s the story of Mack, a divorced firefighter, and Hayden, new divorced sales associate at Target. These characters are everyday people, with the same insecurities and worries that the average reader may have.
The meet via a dating app. An app that a friend needed to set them up on. For Mack it was Riley and Quinn, who we met in Send Me Crazy. Well really it was crazy pants Quinn. She really just wanted Mack to find someone. Hayden is newly divorced and looking to get back on the saddle so to speak. Her sister in law thought the app would be the best way to go.
Like I said this is more than a romcom to me. I felt so many emotions as Hayden struggled with her insecurities and Mack did everything to prove to her that she is worth it. I swooned so hard for Mack!! Perfect HEA!!!
The addicting, unforgettable, unstoppable Hot in the City series is back with the second amazing standalone in this series and I am here for it and all the words.
If you were a fan of book one- Send Me Crazy, then you need to hold on to your hearts AND panties AGAIN with this crew because… shew its gonna get a little bit HOT in here (plus did you read that blurb?!) and get (re)acquainted with one fire chief that is gonna steal. your. heart. and it’s totally cool because you’ll never want it back.
Older divorcees with a weeeee bit of complicated baggage. Internet dating with a slight hiccup. Neither were looking for forever again but it may have just found them. Mack and Hayden are here for it either way and I was totally here for them.
One Click Love was the BEST y’all and I was hooked right from the very start and just got… consumed by them. Packed with fun, heat, heart, laughs, a dash of suspense, all the feels, and alllllllll of the swoon, you do NOT want to miss out on this romance.
This book was EVERYTHING in the very best ways and in all the moments.
I highly recommend this book.
T. Gephart’s “One Click Love” was an enjoyable read featuring likeable, well-developed characters and an engaging plot. My favorite thing about it was that the protagonists, Hayden and Mack, were both mature adults in their 40s. The fact that they actually had some life experience made it very easy for me to relate to them. I particularly sympathized with Hayden because of the insecurities she developed about her physical appearance after her divorce. Mack didn’t see any of those supposed imperfections, however, and I loved that he told her how beautiful he thought she was from the first time they met. I also loved that Mack was the one who pushed to build their relationship into something more than just a one-night stand. After so many years with her inattentive jerk of an ex-husband, what Hayden needed more than anything else was someone who could see how special she was and wasn’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops. Mack treated Hayden like a queen, which was nothing less than she deserved.
Hayden and Mack’s romance blossomed somewhat more rapidly than I expected given Hayden’s initial concerns about dating someone seriously so soon after her divorce, but the pace worked for them, and I had no trouble believing in the depth of their feelings for each other. That said, I had to laugh because even though Mack told Hayden multiple times that he was OK with taking things slowly, he was already worried about having to spend a night away from her after only their second or third date. I think they defined the relationship about that same time. At any rate, I think Mack’s definition of “taking things slowly” and mine must be pretty different because unofficially moving in together after only three dates seems pretty fast to me!
Overall, I very much enjoyed “One Click Love” and would recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance. I will certainly be reading more books in this series.
*ARC provided by the author via Candi Kane PR. All opinions expressed are my own.
First off I love the books that have characters that are older and have learned from their mistakes. Mack is a no nonsense kind of guy. He doesn’t see the point of dating and just wants to be left alone. He’s happy at the Firehouse with the guys and that’s all he needs in life. I must say I loved the banter between the guys and how much they raze each other. I especially love how mature Mack and Hayden is. They don’t want to go hang out in clubs or listen to music super loud. They are old school and I love it so much!! I also love how Hayden had a normal job as well. It made her so much more lovable. She opened up Mack in a way, others haven’t been able to. These two have a great dynamic together. This was a fun book to read with great characters in it!!
Can I tell you how much I love T.Gephart? like seriously I have a girl crush, I dont think there is a book out there that she has written that I had not enjoyed. I started with the first book Send Me Crazy, please read, if you are reading this book and have not read the last book, put it down! now! trust me on this. Anywho so I reread send me crazy where we met Mack and I was so overjoyed that He gets his own story. like always you get laughs but we had more substance with this one, you felt more but you get what you always anticipate with her you get some great entertainment..Enjoy!
rcvd an ARC at no cost to author…Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opionions.
I LOVE, LOVE LOVED this one!! Who wouldn’t fall for a sexy older fireman and a beautiful curvy girl! Tina’s books are amazing but I have thoroughly loved reading this series and can’t wait for more
This book had it all! Romance, second chance (one of my fave genre’s), hot guys and revenge on the ex’s. I laughed and cried throughout and sometime cried because I was laughing so hard. In a world where being a sz 0 seems to be the only size you should be, I love reading of a curvier lead and that she can attract a healthy hot guy is refreshing.
I would highly suggest you read this story as it can be a standalone, but suggest you read the first book because of the supporting characters you will have a better feel for them. But if not that is ok also.
