An accidental pregnancy, a hunky hockey star, and a surprise twist you will never see coming, this swoon-worthy and heart-felt romance from bestselling author Meghan Quinn will keep you on the edge of your feet as you fall head over ice skates in love with your next book boyfriend, Hayden Holmes.“What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?”Forget.I need to … Cup?”
Forget.
I need to forget. I need an escape.
Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house. She didn’t want to hear my reason–she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.
Adalyn is bold, sassy–and the perfect escape.
She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.
And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.
But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.
And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.

Hey Adalyn, we need to talk.
I really liked you in the previous books (My Best Friend’s Exand Twisted Twosome) and when I realized that you were the heroine of this book, well…I was kind of hoping we’d become friends. But then you had to go and ruin it. And you’re totally right…it’s a deal breaker. AC Slater is NOT better than Zack Morris. I don’t care what your arguments are, the Zack Attack rocks and will always be number 1. And this is why Hayden and I are meant to be friends (because I’m totally claiming him as a book boyfriend)…because he knows how awesome Zack Morris is.
I don’t care that Hayden was totally smitten with you. And that you seemed to be awesome and were compassionate and a great nurse. Zack rules over everything else. I will admit that you appreciated how good Hayden was to you, because he was awesome. I loved his slow burn tactics and how he set out to woo you.
Sincerely,
A Zack Morris fan 😛
Ok, for real though…In the beginning, I did like Adalyn, and while we may never be friends due to our differing opinion on Saved by the Bell, I liked her…until I didn’t (more on that in a moment). But even thought I had some issues with Adalyn, I loved Hayden. He was beyond awesome. And even though I loved the steamy scenes, I loved that Hayden made her wait. That he wanted to get to know her and establish a real relationship with her because he saw a future with her. That was by far, one of the best things about this book. Like I said, Hayden was beyond awesome. He’s the worst kind of book boyfriend because he’s the perfect guy that you won’t find in real life. But he’s the ideal that you dream about.
And that’s why I had such issues with Adalyn…
…So…the issues. I was going to vow to do my best to not spoil things but…I just can’t. Sorry. In order to properly vent my anger Uh…review…this book, I HAVE to talk about the things that would be spoilers (although one shouldn’t REALLY be a spoiler assuming you’ve read the title).
So this book was going just fine. The story was great, pretty much 5 stars. Hayden was amazing (a total 10!) and I liked Adalyn (minus her love for Slater)…and then IT happened. Hayden got traded. Sucks. It happens. But here’s the thing. It could have been a stumbling block but it was easily worked through. Yeah, he didn’t plan on it, he couldn’t say no but he tried to make the best of it and he asked the woman he’s in a relationship with, whom he’s falling for, to move with him. What did she do!? She freaked out and planned to break up with him before even giving him a chance to talk. Ok. So there’s a little drama, like I said, easily worked though.
Then we find out that Adalyn is pregnant (again, if you read the title, this isn’t a surprise). So this is where things really went off the rails for me. Ok, she’s pregnant. I’m cool with that. Bring on the baby drama. But as I say that, there are just some things that will piss me off quicker than anything else and in this case it’s EXACTLY what Adalyn did. She decided that she wasn’t going to tell Hayden about the baby. Well. That’s the greatest thing you’ve ever decided to do Adalyn. *sarcasm*
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good secret baby trope. But there are some key elements that need to be there to make it work. Most of those include the guy being the biggest jerk going when they split and he wouldn’t believe her or would deny the child. Or he’s suddenly married or abandons her or SOMETHING that’s bad. Something that makes me sympathize with the woman and say “yes! Keep that kid from him until you run into each other later and he realizes that he can’t live without you!”…but…this is Hayden. There wasn’t a time in this book when he EVER displayed any type of behavior that would warrant Adalyn treating him this way. Ok, yeah he gets traded. But that wasn’t his choice and he didn’t abandon her. He wanted her to go with him. She said no. Let me say that again. SHE SAID NO. She broke up with him, ripping his heart out and saying he meant nothing to her. So…how is keeping knowledge of his kid from him the right decision!?
I really wish someone would explain this to me. Make me understand. Because I didn’t. It got to the point that I dreaded picking up my kindle. And my phone. Every time she spewed more garbage, I wanted to throw my precious kindle. Not cool.
Hayden was such a good guy, and yet she pulled that crap on him. I sat there, so angry that I didn’t want Hayden to end up with Adalyn. When he met Noely, I actually hoped that he’d fall in love with her and Adalyn would fall off a cliff after realizing that she threw away the greatest guy in the world. And when she got upset after googling him and seeing pics of him with Noely, she had no right to get upset. Adalyn was at fault for all their unhappiness. She deserved everything and more.
By time Hayden found out about the pregnancy, I stopped caring about the book and HEA. He deserved better that Adalyn. And the way Logan treated him…I hope Logan never gets a book (and if there is one, please, leave me in my blissful ignorance…unless it’s on my TBR. In which case, warn a girl!)…But back to Logan. I haven’t wanted to send a character to spend time with Dexter in a LONG time but Logan needs to make an appointment ASAP.
Overall…I read for Hayden. Nothing else mattered. I couldn’t put this book down quick enough and that makes me sad.
3.5 STARS!
We first get a glimpse of Hayden Holmes in Back in the Game, a romcom novella about his teammate Calder Weiss. It isn’t until we get to Three Blind Dates, that we truly met Hayden and his humble and sweet personality.
Hayden’s world centers around playing hockey and when he loses the opportunity at the Stanley Cup after a brawl with a player on the opposing team, Hayden finds comfort at home.
While celebrating at his best friend Racer’s house, (yes that Racer, from Twisted Twosome!) Hayden mets Adalyn. He quickly likes her witty and firey personality. From there on a courtship of sorts develops. Hayden and Adalyn can’t get enough of each other, but like with all romances, things take a drastic turn.
You all may be wondering why the rating was so low and it wasn’t because I didn’t like the story; the story was sweet, charming, and emotional. I just didn’t feel much of a connection to Adalyn and their was just some moments that had me second guessing where the story would go at one point.
This one may not have been my cup of tea, but I will continue reading Meghan Quinn’s books. She just has this way with words that leaves you laughing and crying. Overall, One Baby Daddy packed a mean angst punch and it had those sexy and cute moments as well.
So here’s the deal: I’ve been waiting on Hayden to get a book since I first met him way back in when Meghan’s Binghamton series. I absolutely adored him. Originally, I hoped he would get his HEA in Three Blind Dates — and I was quite disappointed when he didn’t until I sat back and realized it just really wasn’t meant to be. Noely could never have his heart because another woman had it. With that, I wanted even more to meet this woman and get their story. One Baby Daddy was everything I wanted and more. I have so much love for this book, the characters and the Dating by Numbers series in general.
I’m not even sure what to say about One Baby Daddy. I loved Hayden. Adalyn was such a great match for him. Their chemistry, their banter, the totally yummy slow burn… I loved it all. I felt kinda dumb for ever thinking he and Noely could or should be a couple, tbh, because there’s no doubt Adalyn was end game. I loved getting the chance to go back and see how they first met and how things progressed with them, knowing what was to come once Hayden was traded. *sad face emoji*
Hayden was dreamy. I mean, he had a bit of a temper on the ice, but he was a sweetheart off of it. He was also sexy AF, which was a nice combination. He was basically all-in for Adalyn from the beginning and you know how much I swoon over that. In a slight twist on the norm, he was the one slowing things down and intent on building a connection instead of just hooking up. While I loved Hayden’s more reserved nature, I equally appreciated Adalyn’s more forward one. It’s just one of the ways they balanced each other nicely and it so worked for me.
I’m not going to get into the storyline any further because I feel it’s best if you experience it for yourself. I thought the baby storyline was done very well. Of course, I’m totally Team Hayden+Adalyn, so I loved the scenes once they were reunited, when he was going for what he wanted. So many swoons and feels. I couldn’t have asked for a better story.
FAVORITE QUOTES
No doubt in my mind she’s someone you only come across once in a lifetime, and fuck if I’m not nervous to take that next step, to see if my gut reaction is right, that this girl is my game changer.
God, I want inside her, but I think I need inside her heart more than in her body.
I can only watch him walk around shirtless for so long. I can only make out with him for so long before my need gets too overwhelming. I can only dry-hump him so many times before I lost my ever-loving mind. He’s driving me crazy. He’s creating a monster with every day that goes by… sexless.
One Baby Daddy is the third book in the Dating by Numbers series. We were first introduced to Hayden in Book 1, Three Blind Dates. Now in One Baby Daddy, Hayden has his turn. Hayden is a hockey player and I said in Three Blind Dates that Hayden is probably the sweetest one. And, yes even hockey players can be sweet. Hayden has been looking for love and to have a relationship like his friends Caulder and Rachel. (We met them in Back in the Game – a Novella)
I love that this is book is concurrently happening with the first book Three Blind Dates. We have glimpses of his date with Noely in One Baby Daddy.
The book order is:
Three Blind Dates
Two Wedding Crashers
Back in the Game – a novella
One Baby Daddy
Is it wrong that I wanted to B**** slap Adalyn? Yes, what have you done?(you will understand once you read One Baby Daddy). I am not sure why she has so much trouble committing. Was it just from her breakup that caused all the commitment issues?
My question to Meghan is Why Logan and not Racer? Yes, that is vague and I don’t really expect an answer.
I have loved this entire series! I am now hoping for a spin off for Racer or even a novella! He needs his story told!
I am looking forward to meeting Meghan Quinn in June at a book signing. I HIGHLY recommend her books.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
This was good. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
I did like this, but I didn’t love it as much as the first two books. I liked this guy in the first book, but with how his dates turned out, I wasn’t sure where this story was going. I loved him in this book (what a sweetheart/gentleman), although I felt like his personality was different than in the first book. Maybe that was just me though? It has been a while since I’ve read the start to the series.
I had mixed feelings about Adalyn. She was a good character for the most part, but she annoyed me with her indecisiveness. Like make up your mind already, and stop being a pain in the butt haha.
I wasn’t super in love with most of the other characters in this book. Of course I liked seeing Calder and Rachel again, and Racer was an interesting guy. I really disliked Logan; go away dude. Hayden’s brothers were cuties, and I wouldn’t mind them having their own books at all. I’d love to read more of the Holmes siblings!
Overall, it was a good book, but as I stated above, I had some issues with Adalyn, and how she handled things, so I couldn’t give this a higher rating. Regardless, I recommend this entire series. It’s cute and funny for the most part, with some serious moments when necessary!
One Baby Daddy was a pretty good book, but it is my least favorite of this series. I hate to say that because I liked Hayden so much. He is a sweet and caring guy who is not the typical hockey playing bad boy who runs through women like its a competition.
The thing about this book is that I love how Hayden and Adalyn meet and how he knew he needed her in his life and went after her. The time they spend together is super cute and I happy sighed through it all. Hayden is a perfect gentleman and a really kind guy. The perfect guy that any girl would want to be with. I liked Adalyn through this part of the book as she spends time with Hayden and gets to know him.
Now what I didn’t necessarily like about this book is that I felt like I didn’t know enough about Adalyn. She has a bunch of brothers and we never she really says much about him like Hayden does. Hayden’s brothers even meet Adalyn and she talks to Hayden’s mom on the phone. The other big thing that irritated me to no end was how Adalyn strung along her friend Logan who was so obviously in love with her and I really disliked how she used him as a barrier between her and Hayden. The way she treated Hayden after she found out she was pregnant was pretty shitty and her reasons for not being with Hayden were weak as hell. So I ended up not liking her very much by the end. I did not feel like she redeemed herself.
One Baby Daddy was still a enjoyable book that I adored reading, but Adalyn was a person I just didn’t like overall. Other than that I loved Hayden and the supporting characters like Chris. This is still worth reading a good book by one of my fave authors.
One Baby Daddy did not disappoint! Once again Meghan Quinn has produced a great romantic comedy. My husband would ask my why I was laughing and I found myself reading the book outlaid to him. He became just as invested in the story as I did. This is a story that is a twist on the typical love story. You will fall in love with Hayden and want to yank Adalyn’s hair out for breaking his heart. Each story in the Dating By Numbers series only topped the previous one! Hold on for a great story!
5+ stars
We were introduced to Hayden in Three Blind Dates. I loved him in the first book and thought there’s more to him than what I read and I was right. This book is about Hayden Holmes aka The Jock. I knew I would like him but he definitely has won my heart and this is my favorite book in Dating By Numbers series.
As always the writing was tremendous, the story captured me from the beginning especially the way it started. The characters were well developed and real. I like that they were facing everyday problems which made this book intriguing and real.
Hayden is a professional NHL hockey star. He is down to earth guy. He doesn’t flaunt his position and money. He stayed humbled and likes to keep to himself. Hayden likes helping people. He’s so sweet, dorky, loving, caring, fun-loving, easy going. When he loves he loves with his whole heart. He’s also open and honest, so patient and has a heart of gold. He has a great relationship with his parents and brothers. He’s my favorite character.
Adalyn is a nurse. She is sassy, fun, kind, faithful, beautiful inside and out. She doesn’t do relationships and has one night stands because she doesn’t want to get her heart broken. She has a large family (which I would like to get to know).
When Adalyn and Hayden meet, they both don’t expect that their lives will be changed forever and that they will find forever with each other.
From the moment they met there were sparks, connection and pull between them. There was also angst and drama. I loved their easy going and fun loving connection. They were incredible together. Their relationship was a bit slow burn with laughs, love, sad and endearing moments but definitely worth the wait. I loved Adalyn even though I haven’t agreed with some of her decisions but I also understood her point of view. Hayden was fighting for them, heir relationship and her affections. I love how much he was patient with her and the way he was wooing her. I loved their powerful and all consuming love story. They were so captivating from the start to finish. Loved their text messages and the banter that was showing through them. I loved that Hayden wanted to take things slow because he sensed that they have something special and to lay a foundation for relationship.
4.5 STARS
NO SPOILERS!
One Baby Daddy was a sexy, swoon-worthy, hilarious, and highly entertaining standalone romantic comedy in the Dating by Numbers series, and I loved it! The storyline and characters were amazing, and I loved Meghan Quinn’s writing style and awesome sense of humor.
Hayden and Adalyn were amazing and I absolutely adored them. I loved their personalities and smoking hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout for the most part. I loved reading the book from both Hayden and Adalyn’s POV, and most of their banter and interactions with each other. Hayden Holmes was incredibly sexy, sweet, funny, and swoon-worthy, and I absolutely loved him. He was everything I hoped he would be and so much more. Adalyn was very sweet, smart, and funny, and I loved her so much. She did frustrate and annoy me a little from time to time, but I still really loved her.
Hayden and Adalyn’s story in One Baby Daddy was a lot different than I expected it to be. The first half completely blew me away and I loved it so freaking much, but the second half was a bit disappointing at times. I hate to even say that because it really wasn’t all that bad, but I guess it just wasn’t what I hoped it would be. There were some instances regarding a certain secondary character (who was a real tool, by the way) that kind of ruined the story for me at times. I just wasn’t expecting this particular character’s involvement in the plot, and it through me for a loop. There were also a few other parts that I didn’t like as much, and that annoyed and frustrated me. Despite all of the ups and downs, everything was completely worth it in the end. The rest of the secondary characters were amazing, and I really enjoyed their addition to the story. Even though One Baby Daddy wasn’t quite what I expected, it was still sexy and entertaining from beginning to end, and I was very happy with the conclusion to Hayden and Adalyn’s story.
One Baby Daddy was a sexy, funny, swoon-worthy, and entertaining standalone romantic comedy, and I would highly recommend it and the entire Dating by Numbers series! Meghan Quinn did a fantastic job with this book, and I was very pleased with the outcome to Hayden and Adalyn’s story. Meghan Quinn’s books are always sexy, addicting, and laugh-out-loud funny, and I honestly can’t wait to devour more!
Let’s Pretend This Story Never Happened . . .
“Loyalty and love go hand in hand.”
I was really looking froward to reading Hayden’s story ever since he was introduced in the short story featuring his best friend and teammate, Calder and Rachel Back in the Game and from the sneak-peaks of him in Three Blind Dates, but One Baby Daddy really disappointed me. And it sucks so much when one of your favorite authors writes such a blah story for a character your really like.
The story was fun and the spark between Adalyn and Hayden seemed like it was leading up to a good stroyline, but everything took a nosedive into and uncontrollable tailspin starting in Chapter 15. After that I really struggled to finish the story. I despised Adalyn (and Logan – don’t even get me started . . . ), her attitude and behavior, the angsty nonsense, and the unnecessary drama. The storyline suffered and I have no idea why MQ went in the direction she did with ODB. Hayden’s story could have been so much better, and Adalyn could have been a good match – she seemed fun when she was introduced as Emma’s friend in her story My Best Friend’s Ex – but she was awful in this story. I felt no love and loyalty from Adalyn and I feel sorry that Hayden ended up with her.
This is by far the most disappointing book I’ve read by MQ and one of the most disappointing books I’ve read this year.
2 stars for writing, and Hayden and his fun twin brothers (fun novella potential with those two).
This. Whew. It was a doozie. It put me through the ringer.
Hayden was just soooooooo much more than I thought he was, and I already loved him. PERFECTION, that’s what he was. Adlyn, well her and I had a bit of a love hate relationship going for most of the book. Girlfriend down right pi**ed me off for a good part, but she was just gah!!!! so right for Hayden once she pulled her head outta her a** and let herself be happy. I have to say this is the first book where the FEMALE gave me issues.
It may have been a bumpy road, but man, what a journey.
***4.5 ‘Team Hayden’ Stars***
OMG the swoons and the hair pulling in frustration were soooo real in this one.
Seriously. Real.
Thankfully the swoons out did the hair pulling, though they were neck and neck there for a long time. But One Baby Daddy had it all. Sweet, smexy, swoons, growling and laugh out loud moments, also getting the hang out with some favorites from past books was the cherry on the top of this baby.
Hayden. OMG this man. I loved him in Back in the Game and Three Blind Dates but I ADORED him in this one. This man is practically perfect. Talented and handsome are simply bonuses when it comes to him. He’s considerate, thoughtful, charming and tenacious. He is all kinds of laid back and easy going, but when the alpha male comes out to play….HOT, like panties are obliterated hot! Basically, he’s total book boyfriend material.
Adalyn, I really liked after meeting her in My Best Friends Ex and I ended up loving her in this one. She’s sassy, sweet and snarky…three of my favorite things in a person. She’s compassionate and isn’t afraid to take matters into her own hands. But I will admit that much of my hair pulling was brought about because of her. I totally understood where she was coming from. I did. But I wanted to reach into the Kindle and Gibbs smack some sense into her, or at least rip off the blinders she put on herself so she could actually see what was right in front of her nose.
So, the title says it all and the description gives you an even better idea of what the issues are with Hayden and Adalyn’s journey to their HEA. So, I’m not going to really get into all that, though I will admit that since love triangles aren’t my favorite trope it did heighten my frustration. What I will say is I really like how we experience their journey. We start at ground zero and get all the highs and lows as they happen, no flashbacks, nothing and I loved it because I got to see how good they were together. Their bantering was on point from the start and the sexual tension between them was nuclear. They fit and flowed well together.
Despite the hair pulling, One Baby Daddy was a lot of fun to read, it did bring out all kinds of feels, but everything did balance out in the end. I know I mentioned other characters from other books and series pop up in the story and I wouldn’t worry all that much about feeling lost if you haven’t read those books/series. I do think it will make the experience more fun if you have, but if you haven’t hopefully this book will make you want to get your hands on them and get to know the characters better.

After a less than stellar season Hayden Holmes is in dire need of a little downtime to clear his head, let go of the drama stirred up in the last game and mentally prepare for the season ahead. His first stop takes him to his hometown of Binghamton, New York, to his buddy Racer’s house, where he plans to do some serious unwinding. But what he doesn’t expect to find is a girl who will change the course of his life… in more ways than one!
When Adalyn meets Hayden she feels an instant connection to him, he’s sweet, sexy, and can handle just about anything that she dishes out, she has never met a man quite like him. He comes to town sweeps her off of her feet, has her thinking there might be a long term for them, and then the unexpected happens, and suddenly that dream of a happily ever after is gone.
One Baby Daddy is a wickedly entertaining tale that will speak to your heart, and leave you utterly smitten! The moment I cracked the cover on this one I found myself becoming quickly attached to these wonderful characters and completely absorbed by their story… I just couldn’t bring myself to cut ties with them until I had learned every little detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these two, their story packed an emotional punch that is certain to be felt for a while, highly recommend you get your hands on this one!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.
I’m so in love with One Baby Daddy. Can you be in love with a book? I think so..
I swear Meghan writes these fantastic characters. And every time, I’m like this man is the best. He’s my book boyfriend, and then Meghan goes and writes Hayden. Thee perfect man, he’s sweet, charming, and loves with his whole heart. Hayden is different; he’s not the playboy. He’s not the alpha caveman male. He’s Hayden, and if Adalyn for one second thought that she was never going to fall, boy was she wrong.
One Baby Daddy is by far one of my favorites. I laughed and teared up quite a few times. I don’t want to go into detail about the whole story, just know this is one that you have to read. It was different and wasn’t just the same ole romance. How does Meghan do this? I have no idea. She’s an amazingly talented writer, and I really can’t wait to see what other stories and characters that she will create.
Overall, I have to give this FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS
Another AWESOME Meghan Quinn story! One everyone should read. It’s different from some of her other stories, in that the couple gets together fairly quickly but then so many other things happen to them.
You don’t have to read the other Dating by Numbers books but you really should. And Racer makes an appearance!! I LOVE RACER!!! He’s the best ever!!
Hayden and Adalyn are perfect together and I love them so much! Hayden is definitely NOT your typical sports star and I love that about him.
This is the third and final book in the Dating by Numbers series and features Hayden, who we met in the first book and again in the novella Back in the Game.
I have been so excited about reading this book because I loved Hayden in the first book of the series, though you can read this as a standalone. Hayden is a hockey player who wasn’t looking for a relationship, but when he meets Adalyn at a mutual friend’s house, he finds an instant connection with her and can’t stay away.
Adalyn has an insanely busy schedule as a nurse at the local hospital, but spends all her free time with Hayden as she feels the intense pull toward him as well. But here’s the thing. Hayden is thinking long term. In fact he takes her on several dates before he will even kiss her. And forget about jumping into bed with her. Hayden refuses to take that step with her because he wants to form a relationship with her mind and her heart first. *swoon* This woman is more than ready to jump his bones, but he wants to form a quality relationship first. Hayden is clearly a unicorn. He’s also thinking ahead, because when the hockey season starts again and he returns to Philly, he wants a strong foundation for their relationship. And they do create a strong foundation. That is, until Hayden finds out he’s been traded to the Quakes team in Los Angeles. Now it’s no longer a matter of being a short distance away. Hayden and Adalyn will be thousands of miles away. Hayden is not ready to give up, but Adalyn sees no way they can continue, so she sends him off with a clean break and a broken heart.
As you can tell from the title of this book, things become more complicated than a simple break-up. Even before Hayden learns of their unexpected connection, he’s been unsuccessful at getting over her. Once he finds out, however, he is determined to make it work between them.
Adalyn might be willing to budge on some things in regards to their future but having a romantic relationship isn’t one of them. I can honestly say there were times I wanted to smack some sense into her because Hayden is one of the swooniest characters author Meghan Quinn has ever written. And that’s saying something!
SNAP OUT OF IT, ADALYN!
Of course since Hayden is so swoony, he refuses to give up until he gets that HEA ending we all want them to have.
This is my favorite trope in the romance genre so I was so excited to read a book about it from Meghan Quinn. If you enjoy the same books I do, I know you’ll enjoy this one as well!
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
One thing that is always consistent with a Meghan Quinn book is that I get so easily wrapped up into everything. Whether I’m falling in love with someone or despising them, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I feel some kind of emotion towards them. Fair warning, my review is basically loving on Hayden. I just can’t help it.
One Baby Daddy is sweet, sexy and funny. One beautiful package that keeps you engaged from start to finish. I can honestly say that I liked every single person in this story, including the one that I know a lot of people are going to hate.
I hate to compare books and/or characters because I think each author deserves the recognition for their hard work. However, I’m going to compare Hayden Holmes to someone only because it shows how much I love him. Truth…I don’t really fall for the sweet guys. Most of the time, I’m indifferent to them. Sure, I’ll do a quick “aww” at some things but I don’t usually fall for them. My first love with a sweetheart was Brody Murphy in Room For You. He’s also a hockey player like Hayden so I’m being real when I tell you that I compare the two. Both are swoon worthy with the biggest hearts on the planets. It’s been almost four years since I fell in love with Brody and Hayden from One Baby Daddy has me questioning my loyalty. I’m now one of those girls you read about who has fallen in love with two men and is absolutely torn. The girl that you want to scream at and make them pick a side. Hayden Holmes stole a piece of my heart reserved for someone else and I swear to you, that is the biggest compliment I could give.
If you like sports romance with a swoon worthy, to die for hero who will sweep you off your feet and melt your heart, then you need to get One Baby Daddy. It has wit, banter, a bit of drama and a whole lotta love. Well done, Meghan. You always suck me in with your stories.
First, this author is awesome! Second, this cover is hot! Third, I loved all the words 🙂
This series is so much fun to read, that’s one of the things I love most about Meghan Quinn.
I couldn’t wait for One Baby Daddy…Hayden is a hottie! Lots of ups and downs, lots of humor, lots of feels.
Highly recommend all this author writes. Loved this third book in the series, I’d recommend you read them in order but you don’t have to.
Ohhhhh Hayden. That man made this whole book for me. What a fantastic guy. I was getting a little emotional over some of his parts, especially towards the end. The way he loved Aadlyn and all of the thoughtful things he did for her, he gets the MVP award for sure. As much as I had all the love for Hayden, I was a little wish-washy on Aadlyn in certain parts of the book. I just wished she was better at communicating instead of running away. But, those two had amazing chemistry together and they were all kinds amazing together. Oh and the banter, I love me some good banter and they had a ton of that too. What a great final book in the series. I loved this whole series and highly recommend it. Such good fun!
