The life goals have stacked up since I started this journey as a sad, lonely little ghost. I’m not sure how things escalated so quickly from trying to be seen and heard, to bearing the weight of the world on my vain little shoulders. As a result, my goals have gotten a little more serious… #15: Decide once and for all if I’m going to save or destroy the world. I’m not sure why people put this sort of responsibility on hell-spawn like me.
Goal #16: Practice my evil laugh, because all hell-spawn need a good evil laugh.
Goal #17: Find and kill all the unicorns. Mwahahahahaha.
Goal #18: Live to enjoy forever with the guys I sacrificed all my memories to save.
Goal #19: No matter what, they don’t get to die. Or I really will be THE Apocalypse.
We’re the most screwed up collection of antiheroes the world has ever seen, because the only thing that makes me want to save the world is knowing I could lose my boys forever if I don’t. It’s one HELL of a love story, you know?

This book was the most action packed out of the four, and it was absolutely amazing. There was angst, and humor, and sex. These characters really grab your attention, and make you love them unapologetically. The ending was sweet and adorable. I’m sad to see the story end, but I’m happy with the way it did. This is an absolute must read, and one series I’ll definitely be suggesting to other readers.
The beginning of the end of this series (sob!)
Yeah, this is it. The End. No, it does’t appear in the 1990s’ version of Trivial Pursuit, but you’d better be up on these because this book requires it! Not kidding. I had to go back and wiki too many terms just so that I get the inside jokes! No, I don’t see this as a problem. God knows I’ve done the same in many of the stories I’ve written.
Again, this author seriously unhinges her brain to write this finale. And yes, there is the obligatory fight-to-the-life-and-death with Paca trying to rewrite the rules to the meaning to life and death and everything.
Perhaps her four guys will learn to treat her better.
Sometimes having a harem of four jaw-droppingly beautiful guys just isn’t worth the pain of trying to protect them… maybe not.
I was happy with the end. It’s time there is some relief in the adrenaline rush, or you lose your reader. Yeah, I had to stop several times just to rest and contemplate. Haven’t read a series like this in a very, very long time. It opened up some parts of my mind I’ve been trying to get in touch with for the same amount of time.
So I bought the entire series. Forget KU. These are keepers!!!
Conclusion to a unique, fun, & sexy series!
This is an amazing series with a funny fmc (Paca) who’s harem slowly comes to trust her and to fall in love with her providing many sexy times between Paca and her four Psychos (The Horsemen). However, this series is much more than just bedroom antics. Kristy Cunning shares a funny, unique story with a bold and strong fmc, an epic battle, and a happy ending. I highly recommend this series!
I don’t know what happened, but I feel like this book was disconnected from the other ones. The story continued, but I feel like all the characters were different. Maybe it was because I was listening and I couldn’t tell the difference between all the different points of view. I don’t like that it switched from just Paca to all of the horsemen as well as Paca. It was hard to keep up. I also feel like Paca changed as a character in this book. I also felt like there were too many spicy times, I felt like it took away from the character development and the story. The ending was horrible, too. I felt like that completely erased everything that had already happened in the whole series. Overall, I almost wish I never read this final book.
So this was my first dive into a paranormal series and I absolutely LOVED it and couldn’t put it down! I read the whole series back and back and was telling everyone I work with about it. It was so detailed and intricate and the story/character development was phenomenal!
It was unpredictable and an edge of your seat page turner! I loved all the wittiness mixed in with the gut wrenching scary times. I laughed, gasped and had heart palpitations. I’m so sad it’s over but I see there is more world building she is doing with another series so I look forward to more!
Paca became one of my favorite characters ever. She may have a lot of faults but underneath the immature antics and vanity she’s strong, smart, loyal and never backs down. She has such a big heart.
And the four Horsemen are one hell of a group. They are not perfect and quite psychotic, but I loved them more with every page. I really liked that we get to read the story from their POV, too.
This final book has everything – epic battles, drama, love, scorching romance, hilarious situations, twists and turns and a fitting ending.
This was the final part of the series and Paca is in training for her biggest fight ever.
One that will hopefully save the world instead of heralding in her namesake the apocalypse.
She is ready to undertake this massive feat along with her 4 trusty horsemen right by her side.
So again this was chock full of ridiculous one-liners and had a big vein of humour running straight through its centre, Paca is certainly full of sass much to her horseman’s chagrin.
Her power here reaches apocalyptic heights which she is going to need if shes got any chance of beating Jahl in the arena.
All her boys are ready to fight and die right by her side even Jude who is still struggling with accepting his feelings.
Paca is going to need a completed quid if she is going to have any chance of winning the upcoming battle.
So yeh I enjoyed this, I wasn’t a massive fan of the eventual outcome here but it did provide closure and the eventual HEA I was after for our lovingly evil Quintet.
I also could feel all the connections here and each individual personality felt distinct something you don’t always get in reverse harem books.
This wasn’t my favourite instalment of the series but taken as a whole I’ve enjoyed it.
its been a non-stop fun-filled ride and I would defiantly recommend this unique series.

Great ending to the series
Time has run out. Paca and her horsemen have trained hard. The riddles left behind are coming together. One thing is for sure the original Paca planned thoroughly.
The bond between the four and Paca is strong. Jude can’t let himself love her.
The final battle is a victory and a loss. Paca new what she had to do. Her horseman wait her return.
Fast paced and steamy. Great ending. Paca 3 is very different but also the same. Her horseman are different to because of her.
I was bawling at the end…LITERALLY tears pouring down my face!?! %-/ It was a great series and I loved the ending, that’s for sure! %-D I kept checking them out and re-reading the whole damn thing, so I just went ahead and bought them and now I read them whenever. Love!!!
Absolutely loved these books and highly recommend. Snarky 90’s loving of her chain heroine ( yes she’s a hero through and through for me). Plus the men who can’t live without her, not only cause she made them that way lol.
Fantastic end to this series. Paca and the horsemen level up while falling in love all over again. Paca and her horsemen must defeat the great evil before it escapes it’s ncage. But what do they have to give up in order to achieve the impossible. As Apocalypse figures out the cryptic clues her former self left and as she and the horsemen gain power things come to a head and then things come tumbling down. I love Paca and her psychotic self and the alpha type horsemen. This series is one of my favorites. I’m sad to see it end but it ended spectacularly! I’ assing this series to my reread list and in my option this series is a must read for those who love a little dark, the four horsemen, Apocalypse, deadly sins, the devil, angels and world ending problems. Such a fantastic series!
This was completely different from what I was expecting. I loved it but I also didn’t like it? I loved some parts of the book like the humor and the characters. I saw some things coming because well it needed to happen but some parts of the book….I question. I love this series though and it’s still one of my favorites. The ending was somewhat surprising but I still enjoyed reading everything Kristy Cunning (CM Owens) has to write. I wish there was another book coming out that shows what their life is like 50 years down the line, how they’ve changed and what life is like for them. I also would love a mortal story for them and Manella! I’m sad to see this series come to an end. But I will always return to this series for re-reads.
Overall: 4.5/5
I LOVED this entire series! I’m so glad I waited to binge read after all the books were released because I don’t think I could’ve waited in between books.
Paca is the most animated and hilarious character I’ve ever read. She steals the show when she walks into a room. All attention is on her…because vanity. But what I love most about her is that she is the epitome of wrath and if anyone even thinks about touching her men, she almost detonates because she is The Apocalypse. I love a protective and fierce heroine, add in her sense of humor, and she quickly became one of my all-time favorite female characters.
I loved having the guys’ POV in this book since I started feeling disconnected with them in the previous books because they were kinda acting like giant assholes…but now we know why. As much as they try to fight their feelings against Paca, they can’t, because she is their main focus. The reason they even exist. They are just as protective over her as she is them… and after they did the love thing, they’re connection became even more intense.
This whole series was fast-paced, had non-stop action, laced with loads of humor and some pretty heated sexy times. As my first reverse harem books read, it was a SLAM DUNK. I just wish I had more of Paca and her Four Horsemen because I didn’t want their story to end!
