Rowan Palotay hopes she never runs into the too-handsome Prince Theodore Chenery ever again after she leaves an embarrassing first impression. But fixing her mistake garners even more attention from the prince, and when he requests she be his reporter for a news story, she can’t say no.
Prince Theo is completely enchanted with Rowan and finds her special brand of kindness and honesty impossible … impossible to ignore. Back home, his choices are made for him, but here in this small town where his mother grew up, he feels connections he never has before. And the more time he and Rowan spend together, the more he wants her—all of her.
When obligations back home take a turn he didn’t see coming, he’s ready to stake his claim. But when his father and the media get wind of his relationship with Rowan, Theo must decide whether to follow his heart or his royal duty.

Beautiful
Prince Theo hard come to his mothers home town to see his grandparents. Rowan almost falls on him when they first met but the dog she walking pied on him. But after that she was writing the article for the local paper & he was falling for her. The feeling was mutual.
Rowan is working as a dog walker. She is also a disgraced journalist who is now writing fluff column to pay the bills. While walking her dogs she meets a Prince and makes an impression on him. The prince is in town to meet his grandparents after the death of his mother who was estranged with her parents, as well as to see the town that she grew up in before he is forced to marry a woman that his father the king has picked out for him. Will he follow his duty or follow his heart. I loved this book….it was a real Cinderella story!!
The prince and the country girl. They were destined to be together.
Rowan Palotay was barely able to make ends meet. After her professional reputation was ruined, her newspaper assignment was changed to writing the Pet Corner in The Copper Mountain Courier. To supplement her income, she took on the job of a dog walker. One morning while out with the dogs, she comes face to face with Prince Theodore Chenery who was in town to meet his grandparents for the first time. It was not the introduction that Rowan wished to have when one of the dogs wrapped its leash around both of their legs and almost tripped them. To top it off, one decides to pee on the Prince’s leg. How is that for a first impression?
After his mother’s death, Theo decided to spend Christmas in Marietta with his grandparents and see the town where his mother grew up. He had always been told stories about the place and he wanted to see it through his own eyes. When it came time to return to Montanique, his father was to announce his engagement. It was an arranged marriage, but Theo was willing to do it for his father and his country. That was until he got to know Rowan. Now he is second guessing his plans.
Rowan and Theo knew there was a line that shouldn’t be crossed when it came to their attraction to each other. But it might be a little easier said than done, once they really get to know each other. They are prefect for each other in every way.
This was a fun book to read. While Rowan and Theo were getting to know each other there are some funny and very memorable moments. One of my favorite moments (beside the dog pee scene) was when they were at Rowan’s house singing and dancing to the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack. It showed the playful side of both characters. Both were very caring and willing to do anything for other people too. The story was well written and kept my interest all the way through.
Well till the end I was loving this book. There was great chemistry between the two characters. They didn’t just jump into bed right away either. Which was awesome. But I want more of the relationship after they declared their feelings. I guess I really didn’t want it to end.
Cute boy meets girl story for Christmas.
This is one of those books that looks at the possibility of an American girl becoming a princess. Great setting in the western USA.
However, I wonder why we seldom see an American Boy falling in love with a princess and becoming a prince.
This was a fun book to read on a rainy night by the fire.
Very entertaining to read. I really enjoyed this.
Cute story!
Really cute book! I don’t usually read books with princes, but I really liked this one because the story was cute and the prince was a very normal guy. Rowan was adorable and charming so it made the book fun to read. They were a great couple together and they kept the story going to make me want to read what would happen next.
Entertaining, easy to read. Great characters.
