After escaping a harrowing ordeal with the Drakin Clan, Princess Lucy’s homecoming is short lived. The evil dragon shifters, along with their newfound allies, the giants, have declared war upon the Southern Kingdom. Lucy knows her life is in danger and must learn how to defend herself. After seeking out a local witch named Hilda, Lucy learns of a prophecy, sending her on a quest to retrieve a … quest to retrieve a magical golden crown located in the caves of the Southeastern Lands. This crown is guarded by Orcs—large creatures with a taste for blood and war. Lucy will be accompanied by a prince, and a duke from the Northern Kingdom, along with Tobias—each vying for her love. Lucy soon learns she’s open to love—more than she ever thought possible.
In this dangerous journey through the Wastelands, it will be up to Lucy, and the magic within the crown, to save her family, and her kingdom. Will Lucy be able to battle the feelings she has for all three men, and steal the golden crown in time to save her people, fulfilling her destiny?

In the last book Lucy was the damsel in distress while her sister came in and saved the day as a the proverbial knight in shining armor. Now, it’s her turn.
RH Action Fantasy story with dragons and vampires, and more. There is tons of action to keep the book moving and never seems boring. The world is robust and detailed, while the characters are fascinating and compelling. The characters in this book are fun to read, and witty. Lucy is a princess and likes being a princess. She doesn’t want to be a warrior. However, she must for her quest of the golden crown, and she is not happy about it. It was fun to see a girly hyper-feminine character learn how to balance that with being a warrior.
Our heroine was kidnapped in the last book and rescued by her warrior sister. Now it is her turn to be the warrior.
This is book two in the series and it works just fine as a standalone. That being said, it might be a little more fun to read them in order, but it is not strictly necessary.
This is an action fantasy story with a bit of a reverse harem sideline. The story is very well written and fun to read, with lots of action, a well thought out world and some fascinating characters. Just like the previous book, we are treated to a cast of characters that are well developed and fun to read. My favorite was our heroine, of course, who has to go from princess to warrior, although not without a bit of a fuss. I had lots of fun with this installment and hope to see more of these characters in the future.
Highly recommended.

Now Lucy is on a quest to find a crown. The dragon Julius has declared war and that is the only way to obtain her powers. She is to be accompanied by two humans and a dhampir. Will they return in time to save the kingdom? Will the crown cure her father? Will she choose one of her enamored companions or perhaps all?

ONE SATISFYING EXPERIENCE!!!
Unbelievable! This dynamic duo sets up the stage, chooses the actors and directs the play, whipping this baby into shape with a firm rod, lining ’em up and laying ’em out, blazing a trail, melding this baby together flawlessly. When the stakes are high, put on your big girl boots and get to stomping. Level the field and call the shots, you’re on a roll, ramping this baby up and stealing the show, blasting this bad boy to life brilliantly. Divvying incredible, well rounded scenario’s, revving up the anticipation and adrenaline with intensity and precision, blowing this jewel wide open. Sparks fly as drama, intrigue, challenges, danger and mounting suspense, blasting this baby into the eye of the storm, thrusting it into a tailspin with unbelievable results. Seizing the opportunity, traversing the trials and tribulations, keeping pace with a bevy of plot twists and sharp turns, grounding in it’s strength and awe inspiring in it’s depth. The personalities are well matched and blended with just enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow magnificently. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

War is on the horizon in book 2 in this series. After Princess Lucy (FMC) was kidnapped in book 1 shes struggling to find herself until a secret about herself is revealed. One that could change the whole course of the war. With the help of the prince & duke of the northern kingdom – Patrick and Trenton, Tobias a dhampir and brother to her sisters fiance (three guys who have shown an interest in her) they set out on a journey of discovery. I loved the first book in this series and i loved lucy in that one so im glad she got her own book. It gave her the chance to show how her character has grown since the last book into a stronger one. Just loved it
