Clementine Brodeur must untangle her dead mother’s legacy before the clock runs out…My name is Clementine and my magic is making me lose sleep.I see memories the dead leave behind.Which is painful when those memories belong to my mother.Caught in story threads only I can see, those memories will force me to experience the moment Mom was attacked by the Fae. My two sisters and I have forty-eight … Mom was attacked by the Fae.
My two sisters and I have forty-eight hours to find someone our talented mother could not.
The reality is, if we don’t succeed, someone will die.
And the story threads refuse to reveal if that someone is one of us.
I have to follow my instincts.
But my sisters don’t like my history of “leap now, look later” escapades.
They’ve had my back for over twenty years. Why wouldn’t they have it now?
more
An enraged mage impedes three sisters as they come together to discover who killed their mother. But questions mount as each answer leads to more secrets. There are secret portals, secret doors, hidden floors and magic.
I liked this story. The differences between the sisters, their love that unites them, the sweet memories that captivate them, and the magical shop they inherit are wonderful. The tension from sexy demons, fast paced action, lurking dangers, and battles with evil Fae make a thrilling journey into the unknown.
Truly enjoyed the book, can’t wait to read the second book
AWFUL! It was confusing and there were so many different magical characters that it didn’t make sense. The premise was great but not the actual book!
Just a week plot used as an excuse to explore kinky sex between all kinds of beings
I read the book in one sitting, kept me on the edge of my seat, could not pout it down.
A little confusing at first. But then it took off.
This new series by Coralie Moss expands the world introduced in the Calliope Jones series. There is a younger, spicier edge in this series. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Calliope Jones series to date, but have to say I sped my way faster through this one. I think the author has evolved in her writing. That she kept her cast of characters fairly small in this first book of a new series helped compared to the very large, very quickly introduced cast in the first book of her first series.
It will be great to see how the relationship fo the sisters changes now that they will have to work closely dealing with the legacies of their parents. There is much they need to learn. It will be interesting to see how they deal with life and developing love interests. I am looking forward to the next book. We all need magic in our lives and this series introduces a new direction in which it can be explored.
