Realistic period novel.
Almost didn’t finish it because I was mad at the main female character but glad I continued because it was all explained in an excellent conclusion.
I enjoyed the unpredictability of the book. It was not your ordinary girl meets boy love story and had twists and turns through out.
I enjoyed the character twists. I kept, up to the end, trying to figure out how she did but didn’t. The ending was enjoyable.
Wonderful plot. Not your usual romance. Kept me wondering to the end. Thoughtful.
Good story line and fairly well written.
Very enjoyable
Great book, plenty of twists. Kept me involoved in discovering how a son could marry his father’s mistress. This books does’nt disappoint.
