I am enjoying Katie Parker’s story. Jenny B. Jones is becoming one of my favorite authors.
I really enjoyed this novel. The author’s voice really captured the angst and emotions of a teen-aged girl. Katie’s problems were very realistic as she struggles with her lack of faith. This is the second book in the series.
This book was really different than what I thought it was going to be. I liked they way the young lady acted how she thought in her mind as to what she thought thing’s should be and stuck with it.
Great story.
You will fall in love with these characters. The foster child story is all too real and heart breaking. I kept routing for her to be allowed to stay with those who care instead of being forced back with an abusive Mother.
I thoroughly enjoyed this bookp
Some serious problems but not bogged down . A good spirit and a dry.humor, laugh out loud times
This is the second of this series I have read. Love her books so far
I really got into the characters, I had read the first book in the series a couple of years ago but read again to set up for this. It’s a book that grabbed and kept my attention, allowing me to get lost in the wonderful world of reading.
Could not finish.
I liked it very much
Teen story..Christian
Story line is slow. Tense seems to hop around from present to past which was very confusing!
This is a teen book, but is excellent for adults as well.
Loved this sweet and FUNNY book!
I enjoyed this series, Grandma Maxine is very funny, Katie is sarcastic.
Everyone loves a good second chance story to see how life can turnaround for someone given a raw deal. Katie Parker is a sweetheart who you will cheer for as you life and cry through her crazy life. Katie is surrounded with endearing characters and a few troublemakers to stir the pot. The author is gifted when it comes to humor. You won’t regret a moment spent with Katie.
This story kept me engrossed to the end. It was easy to relate to Katie’s feelings as a new member of this loving family and feel in danger of losing what she had come to cherish.
So laugh-out-loud funny with a wonderful story. I loved it!
Truly enjoyed this book.
This book hysterical. I laughed out loud through most of the book. If you want a light read to make you smile and laugh, this is it
