MEH!
I won a copy of the print book in a Goodreads giveaway! I then purchased the kindles copy. I have to say I was disappointed. The book has so many great reviews I was so sure I would love it. Unfortunately for me there didn’t seem to be much of a storyline that kept me turning pages. I did finish the book but it just wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t recommend it but it appears that a lot of other readers loved it. To each his own.
I LOVE the entire bridge series! Couldn’t put it down. I also gifted my friends the set
Meredith Wild has done it again!
Starting the story, I could feel Maya’s heart breaking while rejecting Cameron and the rejection she felt from him. When they found each other five years later, I wondered if they would get past the past and find a future with each other.
I have to say that I loved how much Maya and Cameron went through still supported the other.
Beautiful story!
I was gifted this book and will give my honest review. I was already a huge Meredith Wild fan and this book only made me love her more. This story is nothing like the Hacker Series so was great to see how versatile her work is. Maya and Cameron dated in college and were in love talking about the future. Cam proposed and due to Maya’s past she turned him down. He walked away and went off to several tours in the military. Both of them spent several miserable years before finding out they both landed in NYC. The story is about the feelings that meeting again brings up. Both of them have history they need to deal with in order to make a relationship work.
I love Meredith’s writing style. She hooks you from the beginning and keeps you reading right to the end. Her characters are well developed and you really feel like you know them. I recommend this book and will be picking up the rest of the series.
MEREDITH WRITES AWESOME BOOKS, ALWAYS A GREAT READ.
This story tears at your heart it is full of passion Maya & Cameron take you on their journey. I love Meredith’s writing style and how she keeps the reader engaged in the story making you want more.
Cameron was hot and delicious and strong an powerful, Maya learned how to grow. This book you may need some tissues handy… You feel the characters emotions.
“Someone could drag me to hell, and I’d crawl back to you, Maya, for a chance to make right everything that was ever wrong between us. Even I can’t tell you what’s happening with us. I’ve never felt this way. But believe me when I tell you I’m not going anywhere. I swear to you.”
Meredith knows how to truly know from each characters stand point how they are truly feeling. She pored her heart into this book and it shows one of my favorites from her so far.
Love this series
I love all her books. This did niot disappoint
I found Maya annoying. Couldn’t grasp why Cameron would keep chasing after her
Loved this story, gave up sleep cause reading this book was much more important! First time reading this author and can’t wait to read more, especially the next in this series.
It was very juvenile with too much angst. She loved him so much that she couldn’t breath but she couldn’t marry him before she worked out all her problems! Give me a break! Ridiculous! I would not read it again.
Book was great, just wish the other two books weren’t so expensive
This book was amazing. I now want to read everything Meredith Wild has written!
