When you wake up bound, drugged, and freezing your ass off in a shed out in the middle of nowhere, it’s pretty obvious something in your life has gone horribly wrong.Omega Carter Lewis lives a pampered, wealthy life. He has the luxury of spending his dad’s money and only working when he feels like it. Things are pretty damn perfect, until he wakes up as the victim of a kidnapping.Alpha Jack … kidnapping.
Alpha Jack Johnson owes someone from his past a favor. He has no interest in kidnapping Carter, but you don’t say no to mob boss Corbin Sabine. Jack has been out of that seedy world a long time, but he grudgingly agrees to keep Carter at his place, until the ransom is paid.
From the first moment Carter and Jack catch scent of each other, some bizarre attraction tugs at them. But that makes no sense because Carter despises the gruff alpha holding him captive, and Jack just wants the mouthy punk omega out of his house.
When the kidnapping runs into a major hitch, Corbin Sabine’s youngest son decides they need to kill Carter, and start new with another mark. Jack should just look the other way and let that happen. He shouldn’t care whether Carter lives or dies. He should just keep his damn head down, and move on with his life.
Instead, Jack protects Carter, and everything spins out of control.

I really liked the bad guy antihero protagonist in this one, and the plot was just toothy enough to keep me turning pages!
I loved this book and can’t wait for the next book in the series.
4.25 Stars!
If you’re looking for a sweet, hot and fluffy mpreg Alpha/Omega book, turn away now because while there’s some sweetness and certainly some hotness, this is darker than other SC Wynne titles.
There’s a bit of Stockholm Syndrome mixed with fated mates and gay for you tropes when Omega Carter Lewis finds himself attracted to the Alpha holding him captive after Carter was kidnapped by a mobster family to which Jack (the Alpha) owed a favor. Jack is straight, but even if he tries, he can’t deny his growing interest in Carter or the protectiveness Carter elicits in him, to the point that Jack is willing to do anything to keep Carter safe.
Jack was a bit of a twat at first. He was so bitter and was awful to Carter, until the pull he felt toward Carter was stronger than him wanting to do what Corbin Sabine or his son Nick had asked him to do. He had quite a turnaround, though, and made up for his past behavior. Carter had been a bit of a loose cannon and was a pampered Omega, working only when he wanted and was in for a shock when he woke up and it turned out he’d been kidnapped. He was resourceful and sweet and even when he made mistakes, he more than made up for them. Jack and Carter had great chemistry, at least once Jack started being less difficult, and the sex scenes were smoking hot.
The book was very entertaining, fast-paced and enjoyable. The bad guys got their comeuppance, Jack and Carter got their HEA and I’m already looking forward to Dylan’s story. Very recommendable!

When Carter wakes up in a shed he has no idea who kidnapped him and why. When he is forced to be on the run with his kidnapper, Jack, neither guy can resist their attraction for each other.
Great GFY/fated mates story. Jack is believably upset by his attraction. Carter is adorable and genuine. I liked how the two kind of figured out stuff as they went along. I liked the mythology that was used to explain the pregnancy. Great reluctant love story with plenty of action.
Omega Kidnapped is the first book in the Bad Guys and Babies series by S.C. Wynne. It’s a darker type of story that involves kidnapping, the threat of death, and running for your life. This story really amps up my excitement for this new series. It has action, suspense, drama, steam, angst, written into a well build plot with interesting characters.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Being kidnapped and about to develop Stockholm-Syndrom, nothing is as it used to be. And Thema you’re on the run from the mob – with your former kidnapper that turned into your Lover and knocked you up… The plot is a little over the moon, but is is a very sweet story about companionship and sacrifices.
