The epic finale of the Becker Brothers series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone.It’s a man’s world. When I declared sports medicine as my major and every man narrowed their eyes, that saying proved true. It was true when my ex-husband decided I’d give up my career when our daughter was born. And again when I divorced the Chief of Police in our small town, and he made it painfully clear that … made it painfully clear that I could leave him, but I would never be free.
Landing the job as the new athletic trainer for Stratford’s high school team is my chance to start over. And walking into a male-dominated sport and staff, I’m ready for the challenge.
I’m not ready for Jordan Becker.
The head coach of our championship winning team is a Herculean force of nature–as severe as he is determined. His icy blue eyes and permanent scowl drive the women in this town mad, and his quiet power and undeniable command conjure respect from every man.
When I join his team, I expect the doubt and anticipate the fight from him. And I get them both.
I don’t expect to form a friendship.
And I never expect to fall for him.
My breath catches when those cool eyes fall to my lips. My body comes alive when his is near. And as those lines begin to blur, every warning bell sounds.
My job, my reputation are on the line.
And my ex is around every corner, waiting to remind me of his power.
It’s a man’s world, and if I want to survive, I can never fall in love with Jordan Becker.
Even if he falls in love with me first.

I think this is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I feel like I need to go back and start the series from the beginning
Sydney just started her new job as the physio for the football team in her hometown. She is also recently divorced from her douche ex and a single mom of a freaking adorable 10year old girl who is obsessed with football.
She is getting he rlife back on track, being independent and raising her lite girl. She was not prepared for Jordan Becker, coach of the football team. Not after their Rocky start. But the more time they spent together the more they got to know each other and the more the attraction grew.
Jordan Becker wad the quiet broody eldest of the Becker boys. He is the boved coach of the town and also an elegible bachelor whom all the moms can’t stop starring at, lol. But Jordan had to much on his plate. He had a team to take to the championships, he had a brother getting married and he had to figure out the weird circumstances in which his father died. And then Sydney and her daughter came along and so many things just fell into place for him. He wanted everything, but Sydney wasn’t ready to show the world they were inlove. So he let her take the lead but the more time he spent wihh her the more he wanted to shout from the rooftops that she was his. But too many things were getting in the way and it didn’t help that her ex was the Town Sheriff
This was a slow burn romance. Now insta love or insta Lust. Started with friendship and turned into more. There was also lots of suspense int his story. Jordan trying to find out what happened to his dad but also him finding out more about his past and his real parents. Good story and definitely reading the previous books
I can’t believe this series is over. Im going to miss these Becker Boys & their significant others sooo much.. but what a way to end this amazing series.
Kandi saved the most beautiful Becker Brother til last. Jordan Becker is a football coach at the local high school in town. He loves his job and he is good at it. When the school hires Syndey Clark as the teams new athletic trainer Jordan fears this will distract the players rather than help them.
Syndey Clark is a newly divorced single mother who is starting a job in a field she’s always dreamed of being successful in. Her first day on the job and she has a less than stellar interaction with her new boss Jordan Becker.
Both are trying to prove something to themselves and to the town. The last thing they are expecting is how much of an impact they will have on each others lives.
Oh. My. Gosh. What a ride this series has been. Jordan was such a strong, sweet, kind, loyal, caring and patient man. Like every other Becker Boy he is so good to his mother and I swooned so hard over him and he is now tied as my favourite brother along side Logan Becker
Sydney was so resilient, determined, selfless, loving, an amazing mother but she was also cautious, vaulnerble and insecure having just gotten out of a very toxic and horrible relationship.
These two together were perfect for each other. It did however take me longer to connect with them as a couple as I feel the progression of their relationship was a little fast for my liking, it started off slow burn with obvious attraction and chemistry but once these two got together things moved real fast until something got in their way. I do think like their feelings were genuine towards each other and I love how they worked together to over come their issues it was just that 2 month period they were together were I personally didnt get enough time to really understand their deep feelings before the story shifted to focus more on the running storyline of the boys trying to figure out the truth of what happened to there father the day he died.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the way that storyline was wrapped up, even though I predicted a lot of what happened and parts of the reason why I still enjoyed how it all played out. There was even one part of the book I could feel coming and when it did I literally fist pumped the air and yelled ‘boo yah’ thinking thats exactly how its done!!
I loved how neatly everything came together in the end even though there was one other part I did not enjoy but would rather not spoil, those who know me already know what it is
I’ve truly enjoyed this series so much and I’m sad to see it end but ultimately I’m satisfied with this conclusion. Even though all 4 books can be read as standalones I recommend reading them in order to get the full Becker Experience
Brand new small town, sports romance from Kandi Steiner! Read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited. Can be read as a standalone, or you can binge all four brothers right now!
Kandi Steiner is back with a romantic, enemies-to-lovers story!
I’ve been wanting and anxiously waiting for Jordan’s book. Even since the first book in the Becker Brothers series I’ve desperately needed Jordan’s story. The little bit we got of him in the previous books just made me itching for more of him. And I can say without a doubt that I was most definitely left satisfied.
From the very first page to the last, this book gave me exactly what I wanted in the final book in this series. Questions that I needed answers to and a mystery that was finally solved. And with revelations I didn’t see coming. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out exactly how everything would unfold.
Sydney was such an incredible character. I loved how strong she was, and her growth throughout the book was beautiful to read. She works in a world dominated by men, but she stands her ground and is such a badass. I was so proud of her for standing up for herself and for what was right. More importantly though, she’s a mom first and her top priority is her daughter, Paige. Paige was just adorable, funny, smart, and I couldn’t help but smile at her antics. I loved Sydney and Paige’s relationship, it was just the best.
Jordan captured my heart. Quite frankly he captured my heart in the first book. I loved him so much. He was patient, kind, thoughtful, and respectful—a true gentleman. I loved his passion for football and coaching, and I felt that passion pour when he spoke and especially the speeches he gave. The growth Jordan went through throughout the book was amazing. He had me swooning left and right, especially with the way he treated Paige and his belief in her—it warned my heart immensely. Jordan and his heart of gold owned me.
Sydney and Jordan’s relationship was truly beautiful. It’s no question they have chemistry and the attraction between them was pure fire. I loved the progression of their friendship which then undoubtedly became something more—I couldn’t get enough of them. I loved Jordan, Sydney, and Paige so much.
Old Fashioned brought all those small town feelings. Being back in Stratford, Tennessee with these characters was magical. The Becker Brothers will forever own my heart and I will miss them greatly. It’s such a bittersweet feeling saying goodbye to these characters, but what a phenomenal conclusion to a fantastic series. Bravo Kandi, bravo.
Sydney and Jordan are a beautiful story!! Kandi Steiner gives readers everything in Old-Fashioned!! I loved these Becker brothers and all their books!! We answers to it all in Old-Fashioned!
What I loved about this book was it was real. Jordan is this amazing man. Loyal and hardworking and a family man! I love the football parts of this book, how he as a coach makes a team! So powerful!!
And Sydney- she’s strong, an incredible mom and grows so much through the book. This book deals with so many themes and address them so well.
Thank you Kandi Steiner for writing beautiful books that make us feel!!
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
The Becker Brothers are finally complete. And I am not okay. I love this series so much and was so excited to find out what finally happened… and then I hit the end… and I am NOT OKAY! I wasn’t ready for them to be done. I wasn’t ready for it to be over. As excited as I was to know the truth, now I want to go back and re-read them all over again for the first time. Because there is nothing like reading a book/series for the first time. Feeling ALL the emotions for the FIRST time.
Kandi Steiner delivered with this final installment of the Becker brothers. Jordan is everything you want in a Hero. Commanding, quiet, broody, and just yet so gentle that he makes you swoon oh so easily. And then the perfect match for him is Sydney. She is strong and capable, no matter her past. And the chemistry together… it was so alive and palpable, you could feel it from the words, actions and thoughts… they were fire brought to life.
I won’t give anything away with this because it is a new release, so no spoilers here… but I can’t put into words how much you need to read this book. You need to read the whole series. Logan is still my favorite of the brothers, but Jordan is in a league of his own. I can’t wait for each and every one to fall in love with him. Because he is the guy you want to fall in love with.
We finally find out the mystery behind the Becker brother’s father. We get the answers we’ve been searching for. And after watching each of his younger brothers get the happy ending, we finally get to see Jordan find his HEA. You will feel all of the emotions and you will be transported into the book, standing side by side with Jordan and Sydney as they each fight their own battles, and the battles with each other.
I can’t say enough about this book. So if you haven’t started the series yet… check out On The Rocks and start the series now! It’s worth every single second of the day you lose being sucked in and transported to the small town of Stratford, Tennessee and the home of the Becker brothers.
Five stars for this emotional read that will leave you on your knees begging for more when you reach the words “The End”.
Kandi Steiner surely made this an ending of all endings to this series!!! I loved every single word!!!! It was just beautiful!!!!
A new small town romance from Kandi Steiner is just the escape needed right now!
Well well Jordan Becker you definitely snuck in and got yourself one awesome book! For the quiet Becker brother his story sure had the most to say. With each book we have been getting further into the mystery surrounding John Becker’s death and it explodes in Old Fashioned! Not only are those details learned but some others that were an unexpected surprise.
Sydney and Paige were perfectly made to fit with Jordan and all their football love. I’m so happy he gets his happy but so sad to see this series end!
Well done Kandi Steiner!
The epic finale of the Becker Brothers series is here and you will want to read it!
So far I loved all the Becker Brothers but Jordan‘s story was one of a kind. It was sweet, angsty and a whole lot emotional. Every now and then you get hit with a different emotion, especially the last 20% of the book had me on the edge of my seat and tears in my eyes.
Jordan and Sydney were meant for eachother. Both of them had to fight for who they are and what they want.
After years of being a stay at home mom to a sassy 9 year old, Sydney finally get‘s a chance to work at her dreamjob as a athletic trainer, where she meets Jordan the head coach of the highschools football team. Sydney has to prove herself in a men‘s world and she does! Jordan on the other hand doesn‘t really know where he belongs as one if the few colored people in the town and as an adoptive Becker son. I loved finding out more about the dynamic in the Becker family and I loved how Kandi incorporated alot of diversity to her story and show some struggles of being a diversity in a small town.
Most of all I wanted to know what happened to Papa Becker 10 years ago and we finally found out.. And it was emotional and twisted. I did not think it would be like that. Kandi really surprised me and there were no clues throughout any book of why it happened that way. We all knew who was behind it but not the real reason why he did it.
I love this series so much! Kandi is just an amzib author and she knows how to captivate the readers who come for the small town romance and stay for the mystery and family bond!
5/5
4 1/2 stars! I’m just busting to talk about this book with anyone who will listen…mysteries solved, surprises I never expected, and a truly bittersweet reveal that made me cry Old Fashioned is the perfect ending to the Becker Brothers series and answered so many questions that I’ve been dying to know. Jordan and Sydney don’t have the luxury of an easy romance and face real issues that could keep them apart. I admire Sydney’s strength in finally standing up for herself and her fantastic daughter, Paige, when she realizes that she deserves happiness and she might be the key to the Becker’s fight for justice for their father. It was truly the cherry on top of this wonderful series and all four Becker brothers(and my main girl, Betty) have a permanent spot in my heart
Old Fashioned is the final book in the Becker Brothers Series. All of the books can be read as a stand-alone but I suggest rewind them all. This is Jordan’s book, he is the football coach for the local high school. He is very quiet so when he speaks everyone listens. Sydney is a single mom. Her ex makes sure she knows she can never really be free of him, he tends to lurk around every corner. I loved Sydney she is a strong heroine and is just what Jordan needs even if she thinks she can’t fall in love with him. Jordan is a great guy he is well respected by everyone, a powerful presence and a force to be reckoned with. This story deals with some real world issues in a way that makes them feel real and makes the story suspenseful and a page turner. It was a great end to one of my favorite series.
I wasn’t sure what I would think of this final book in this series. I absolutely loved the first three books but throughout each I never got a great sense of this final brother, Jordan. I wasn’t sure If I would really enjoy his story because I hadn’t yet fallen in love the character he was. This book was no disappointment. I was quickly reminded that Kandi Steiner knows how to write her characters. I actually really love that Jordan was left for last. His story really felt like it all came home.
This was just my favorite from the series, somehow because the mystery about their father was solved but mostly bacause Jordan was just the kind of character who totally won me over throughout the books. An old-soul, kindhearted and a rock to his family. There was something about him and the way the author gave life to the main characters that melted my heart. Heartwarming, heartbreaking and inspiring. Sydney was brave, fierce and so strong. And her daughter… high level of cuteness and sassiness.
Jordan and Sydney took my breath away. Two people true to themselves, protective and passionate about their work. Down to earth characters who were not revealing themselves until their paths crossed. I adored these two characters at their moment of their lives, colliding so beautifully.
It was an epic finale for the Beckers and I was so glad to read it through Jordan and Sydney’s journey. I loved growing with this family, watching all the boys finding their match. So many things made sense right now, the last piece of the puzzle that kept me captivated until the end.
Are you ready to jump into a brand new small town, sports romance from Kandi Steiner! Read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited. Can be read as a standalone, or you can binge all four brothers right now! This is one story you don’t want to miss!
I want to laugh, I want to cry I want to scream for joy for hours but what I don’t want to do; is say Good bye the Becker’s!
I couldn’t picture a more perfect ending for a family that I have come to love! Noah Becker captured my attention with his strong personality and his stubborn love in On The Rocks, Logan Becker proved that Love is enough and can conquer all in Neat, while Mikey proved how Love can soothe the soul and help find your way in Manhattan, but nothing prepared me for the strength and power of love that Jordan Becker shows in Old-Fashioned!
His story rounded it all out and brought this family full circle! He was the strength of his family and did what he could for everyone he loved! His story was a wild ride and it brought peace and justice with it! A peace that this family deserves! His love for Sydney and Paige was so beautiful and I loved how they were each other’s rock and Pilar of strength!
Each book can be read as a stand-alone but when you meet one brother you can’t help but want to know the whole family! I could fish for hours because this group of brothers is so amazing! Their love, their friendship and their sense of “family” is such a comfort and I enjoyed each word, each page and I though that ending brought the happiest tears I’m not ready to say bye! The Becker’s will always be one of my fave book families!
I am not okay with the Becker Brothers ending! This book was the perfect conclusion to this story!! Kandi wrote a perfect series! Each brother is perfect in their own way! From On The Rocks I wanted to know more about the oldest brother Jordan! Sydney and her daughter are the best! I couldn’t put it down! This book concludes this series in the best way! You will love it!
Old Fashioned is the final book in the Becker Brothers series, and while they can each be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading them all.
It’s always bittersweet when a series comes to an end, especially one with such great storylines and characters I’ve come to love. From the very beginning of the series, Kandi Steiner has sucked me in and had me invested in each brother, even before reading their books. But as I devoured each one I was rewarded with incredible storyline after incredible storyline, characters I adore and her beautiful words I can’t get enough of.
“As much as life hurt like hell, those painful lessons somehow seemed to have beautiful ramifications”
Saving the oldest brother for last, Old Fashioned is Jordan’s book and the perfect bow to tie up this series. Steiner’s talent shone in this book, her ability to weave multiple themes into one seamless story apparent as I read. Jordan & Sydney had so many obstacles against and between them, and yet still found their place in the small town they called home. I loved how she tackled race & privilege, but bringing issues to the forefront but never in an overwhelming or glorifying way.
And then there was Paige. She was my absolute favorite part of this book. She brought comedy and spirit and somehow inserted herself in one way or another in every single aspect of the story. Family has always been a big part of this series, and Paige was a perfect bridge to help that stay front and center.
I really loved this book, and I think it was the perfect way to end the series. Every little loose end was tied, even ones we didn’t know about, and it was an amazing send off for the Becker Brothers.
Not only do we get all the answers we wanted in the conclusion of the Becker Brothers series but we get a swoon worthy romantic story featuring Jordan and Sydney. We have followed all the brothers on their way to a HEA however this one was my favourite. I loved how the things that Sydney dealt with are done with a subtlety that creeps up on the reader and in no way do they lessen the impact they have. The football aspect of the story doesn’t over shadow the romance and the mystery the brothers have been trying to solve from book one. I loved the chemistry between them and absolutely adored the relationship Jacob had with Paige it was supportive loving and everything I expected from the Becker fanily. The epilogue answered all the questions I had about where everyone was and was just perfect.
