Read about five pages and I was done! Bleh!
Had way too much detail about making beads and not enough
storyline. I got so bored with the details about how to make beads and blow glass, that I got turned off and didn’t even finish the book.
IF you are an avid bead making person, then you may enjoy this book.
loved this book
Plot was meh. Characters, too. Good to have some detail about what it’s like to blow glass.
Worth whiling away a couple of hours.
I enjoyed reading about bead making.
I didn’t enjoy this cozy mystery as much as some others. The main story line was good. But the story was built around glass bead making. For me, there were too much time spent on the details of bead making and not the story.
A bit slow but entertaining in some areas
It was a casual read…..funny and some mystery ……good after reading a really long book….
A little light weight
Too light and fluffy needs stronger plot and characters
Plot issues bother me. An editor should have caught it…..maybe they couldn’t follow all the angles.
Fun, fast read. Characters can be developed for sequels.
A little more about glass blowing than I wanted to know.
Did not finish the book; I bailed after about 25%. I’d read an earlier book in this series, and remembered the issues once I began this one. The tone is forced; the author tries too hard; it’s uncomfortable rather than enjoyable to read.
Meh, it was ok, but the ending came up like a bomb without any effort to involve thevillain much in the story at al. Not fair for those of us who like to guess.
too girly
The book was okay.
I didn’t finish it. Actually barely started. I just couldn’t get interested in the process of creating glass beads and I didn’t particularly care for the main characters. Nothing wrong with the writing – it just wasn’t my kind of book.
It was ok. I really didn’t think the murderer had a very strong motive.
