She’s the high school klutz. He’s the best friend. But it wasn’t enough. Alexa Parker’s only goal is to get into the best pre-med program in the country. No big deal. Except that nothing in her life ever goes as planned. If an ice cream machine is going to explode, it will be her pulling the handle. If a cactus is going to be sat on, it will be her butt that will be full of needles. The only … be her butt that will be full of needles.
The only thing going right is the fact that her lifelong—and only—friend, Charlie, has stuck by her side through it all. Until Alex realizes she likes him more than a friend, and she manages to mess that up too.

High School Love Story
This is a sweet story about first love and friends to lovers in high school. It is a fun story that is pretty realistic. It definitely took me back to my high school days. This author tells a good and believable story that puts the reader into the middle of it. I received this ARC book for free from the author and this is my honest review.
The first book in the Off Limits series a well written story that held my interest until the end, I want to read the next book. Charlie and Alexa’s story had me laughing as I read, they are high school best friends. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A cute and sweet story of best friends to lovers!
I enjoyed the author’s approach to the commonly used best-friends-to-lovers trope. I must admit that this is one of my favourite tropes, and it was charmingly done
The two main characters were sweet and likeable, and I found myself rooting for them from the first chapters. Alex was adorably clumsy and found herself in many awkward situations. Was it a bit cliche and improbable? Yes, but I still liked it!
There was surprising depth and character growth in the novel and the overall result was a delightful high school romance.
A clean novel with a HEA.
Cute and funny, though with a lot more depth than I’d thought initially. I enjoyed getting to know Alexa and Charlie, and I really felt for Alexa when she managed to royally mess up their friendship.
This is the first book I’ve read by Kat Bellemore, but now I want to read the other books in the series, too!
Friends to Sweethearts
by MoonGarden
Friends to sweethearts is my FAVORITE trope. This is an adorable high school romance. Alex and Charlie have been best friends through thick and thin, through all of Alex’s clumsy disasters, but when Alex realizes she likes Charlie as more than a friend it may be her biggest disaster yet!

This is the first book in a darling new series by Kat Bellemore. Alex(a) and Charlie have been the best of friends forever it seems. They lift each other up when one falls, know the workings of each other’s intricacies, and have special days and activities that belong to them alone. That is, until the unthinkable happens and some “mild” jealously starts to arise in their friendship. Add into this – everything poor Alexa touches causes an unfortunate catastrophic incident – you have a delightful, fun, clean, sweet romance with such a cute ending. I recommend this book if you just enjoy reading.
I received an ARC copy of this book. However, this is my voluntary, honest and completely personal review.
VICKI FROM WYOMING
Charlie and Alexa are sweet high school friends but develop more feelings. They are great friends and don’t want to ruin that. Will taking it further be the best choice or worst mistske?

I don’t usually read this kind of book geared for the teenage generation but I was pleasantly surprised how good it was & I enjoyed it. It is very true to life & so appropriate for any age level. I think whatever the age we struggle being kind to those that seem very different to us so the lessons presented in this book are good for all of us to learn, relearn & practice in our lives. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary, honest opinion.
