***Can be read as a standalone and is a safe book****A guy who has a thing for his neighbor. And a girl who doesn’t know what she wants.RhettMy new neighbor, Indie, is literally the girl-next-door in every sense of the term, and she piques my curiosity as soon as I lay eyes on her. After a late night introduction, I learn that our chemistry is off the charts, our banter is on point, and her body … our chemistry is off the charts, our banter is on point, and her body is out of this world.
But when I mention a date, she runs like a stray kitten.
It’s easy to see that she’s hiding something.
And I’m going to find out what it is.
Indie
Rhett is the hot new guy across the hall.
He’s also the sexy businessman with a sweet tooth who regularly visits my bakery.
But I refuse to let him become anything else.
I can’t.
After a few chance encounters, followed by a date that isn’t a date, I find my world turned upside down by a man who shouldn’t be anything more than an acquaintance.
Maybe happily-ever-afters do exist, but not for a girl like me.

Rhett added some spice to Indie ‘s life. Indie added some sugar to Rhett ‘ s life with her baked goods, and sweet personality. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I have read each one of the books in the series and each book the writing gets better and better . Pull up a seat and prepare t be swooning over this sweet clean romance book.
I really enjoyed this book. I would have to say to was my top favorite out of the series. Rhett is just yummy.
This is my first book of Kelsie Rae’s Signature Sweetheart series and I am eager to read about future characters like Sophie, Nathan and Natalie and past character books like Luke and Liv. Rhett is is swoon-worthy inside and out and Indie is quite likeable throughout. Even though I don’t enjoy books where the heroine/hero are in relationships with others and its messy/drama- i did appreciate Rhett’s values and that it dealt with minimal drama. I felt the attraction between Indie and Rhett and felt a solid connection throughout the end. This was a likeable book and I will definitely read more Kelsie Rae books.
I loved Indie and Rhett. Their story captivated me. The two are sweet and playful. Their banter had me smiling and laughing. I loved watching them grow from friends to lovers. Discovering a love that they never knew was possible.
If you’re looking for a tale that’s cheerful, cute and leaves a smile on your face I’d recommend giving this one a try. (4.5)
This book was about Rhett and Indie and how they both weren’t looking for love and fell for each other and as they both struggle to be on their own and as a couple things have been rocky and kind of rough too. But how this book built you up to what happens at the end was great.
Wow this book is great.
The chemistry between Rhett and Indie is off the charts amazing, I was hooked from the first page.
This is book 4 in the signature sweethearts series. Woohoo we finally have a book on Rhett. Rhett gets some of his neighbors mail mixed in with his. When he goes over to delivery it he meets Indie. Right away Rhett has the hots for Indie but he doesn’t know she is in a relationship. Indie is unhappy in her relationship of 13 years. I loved how this book flowed. This series is the best.
I absolutely adored this book! Kelsie Rae never fails to meet my expectations! Her characters will steal your heart! Rhett is every woman’s dream man! SWOON!!! Rhett meets Indie and is drawn to her instantly, but she has a boyfriend, so instead he becomes a good friend. Not a man who will EVER cheat, nor will he be the guy who comes between a couple.
Indie is in a relationship that’s not really a relationship anymore. She struggles daily with the thought of ending it, and when she finally does,,,, Fireworks go off between her and Rhett!
I really enjoyed this one!
I’m pretty sure this might be my fav by her!! I’ve been dying for Rhett’s book since Breezy! This was such a cute book. I love her writing and I can’t wait to see how Sophie’s book turns out!
Rhett Jacobs has just moved to town and is blown away by his sexy across the hall neighbor. She is everything he wants in a girl until he learns she is in a relationship and that halts everything.
Indie Peterson owns her own bakery and has been in a relationship with Tony for years. The two have been through a lot but lately Tony is always at work and never around for Indie and she knows that their relationship is dying but she is afraid to end it.
When Indie spends time with Rhett she realizes this is how she is supposed to feel with Tony. Can Indie follow her heart or will her guilty conscience make her stay with Tony?
This was a good book about finding yourself and stepping away from what you know into the unknown.
I thought Rhett was a total stand up guy and I loved that with his past and childhood he completely avoided getting tangled up with unavailable ladies. Rhett worked hard but he also seemed to have a good balance in his life. I loved that he found a dog and how he took care of it.
I thought Indie was a great character and I was in total envy that she had her own bakery! I admit I even went onto Pinterest to try and find a cronut recipe!! I felt bad for Indie with her relationship with Tony but as the book went on I understood more and more why she had been in it for so long and why she was scared to leave.
The chemistry between Rhett and Indie was clear right from the beginning and I loved how others recognized it!
The end with Tony was intense but I loved when he and Indie talked about everything!
I thought the very end was awesome and I look forward to more in this series!
This is my first time reading author Kelsie Rae and it did not disappoint. The two characters in this story have instant chemistry and sparks but are ignoring them because Indie is in a 13 year relationship that is failing and Rhett refuses to go after someone who’s unavailable. It really just makes Rhett even more attractive in my opinion. In meeting Rhett, Indie realizes that her relationship is not now or hasn’t really ever been what it should be and that what she is feeling for her neighbor is something that was missing from her own relationship. Rhett is battling his feelings for Indie as he grows closer and closer to her and she opens up more and more to him realizing she needs the final change she’s been putting off. Decisions get made, misunderstandings ensue and there is always the inevitable break up that occurs. The question is who does she choose? You’ll have to read to find out!! You won’t regret it!
