Archer Hamilton is a collector of rare and beautiful insects. Gina Shaw is a servant in his uncle’s house. Clearly out of place in the position in which she has been discovered, she becomes a source of fascination . . . and curiosity.A girl with a blighted past and a fortune she deems a curse, Gina has lowered herself in order to find escape from her family and their scheming designs. But when … But when she is found, the stakes suddenly become dire.
All Gina wants is the freedom to live her life as she would wish. All her aunts want is the money that comes with her. But there is more than one way to trap an insect. An arranged marriage might turn out profitable for more parties than one.
Mr. Hamilton is about to make the acquisition of a lifetime. But will the price be worth it? Can a woman captured and acquired learn to love the man who has bought her?

I very much liked the way the characters were true to life, some never changing and others not, and the interaction of those and the heroine caused me much concern and uncertainy. Just when I was sure the ending was not what I hoped for, it was.
One of the most depressing books I’ve ever read. This is a romance??????
Loved this book! The characters were so fantastic! There were a lot of moments that I was so wrapped up in the story, that I literally wanted to slap a couple of the characters! One of the best books I have read this year.
Easy reading,
I enjoyed it. Lots of twists and turns. Kept my interest through the whole book.
I remember enjoying the story. It took a long time to get there but it did get there.
Only ok
Such a different book. sometimes you felt like you wanted to slap some sense into the two main characters because they couldn’t speak their feelings.at times in was slow, but it needed to be to set the tone of the characters.
Definitely interesting.
Typical romance but well written.
This book gives the reader a quick insight to how The British aristocracy raised families. Mostly with very little in the way of familial love or concern. I enjoyed the book and kept pulling for the couple to find happiness. Nicely done.
Interesting characters, but totally predictable. It was a bit long and drawn out taking too long to finally get the characters to their inevitable end that I was losing patience.
The title threw me off since the bare mention of butterflies came at the end.
I enjoyed the plot and tests and turns that came. Since I enjoy the spicier type of read — this did not meet that criteria.
Sorry – but I won’t try another one of her books.
Wonderful book. Enjoyable reading.
Portrayed the healing of a broken spirit.
repetitive and too long as well a needs editing.
I enjoyed this book very much. Could hardly stop reading it.

Good story plot but not easy to read. Long & drawn out.
