Born under a hunter’s moon, abandoned as a child, I was raised to be a powerful sorceress-okay, a mediocre sorceress. All right, I’m good at glamour and can make things sparkle, if my spells don’t backfire. It was foretold long ago that I was a child of prophecy that would unite the fae and humans of Candor. The only problem, no one told me, and now the king wants me dead. For I am Eden, one of … of the adoptive daughters of Lady Eville, and I have to attend the royal masquerade ball-not to win a prince, but to avenge my parents. Even if it means pretending to be a fairy godmother and wreaking a little havoc.

This was such a good book! I love how Eden’s journey began and ended! A girl so unsure of who she is and what she can do to a woman who saves a kingdom and fulfills her destiny! I love reading about the Daughters of Eville! Two down five more to go! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
Holy shit y’all, dare I say that this book was even better than Of Beast and Beauty!!! This book was everything!! I loved it. It flowed well, the pace was steady. I connected with Eden’s insecurities and low self esteem. But I love how she embraced her glamour power. Dorian had my heart in the Tavern. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a bad boy. I loved the fire salamander so much I wish I had one. That plot twist too, so good! I can’t wait for the next one!
This book was amazing. The first one was amazing as well, but this one was the cake. I loved how you see the development of Eden. I was Team Dorian the moment he entered the book. Amazing foreshadowing. So many “woah…” moments. When each connection was made between who their parents were and who Dorian really was. Amazing!! So much magic. I started reading and didn’t stop till I was done!
“You will have to go elsewhere to pry for gossip. For any secrets I have are buried deep”
“Then I shall get a shovel.” He laughed, The corners of his mischievous eyes lifting.
You know you are reading a great book when you can’t figure out what is going to happen next!
I absolutely Loved that about Of Glass and Glamour and couldn’t put it down!
Another great book in the Daughters of Eville series by the wonderfully talented author, I absolutely adored it and can not wait for Of Song And Sea! (Being a huge Mermaid/Little Mermaid fan I am super stoked to see the author’s twist on it and if there’s Mermaids!)
Reading books by Chanda Hahn is my happy place and I can never get enough! A Must read, even if you haven’t read Of Beast and Beauty, you can still read and enjoy Of Glass and Glamour!
What an exciting followup to the first book Of Beast and Beauty in this latest series from Chanda Hahn! You will not be disappointed! This book is Eden’s adventure and what an adventure she has as she tries to discover her past all while avoiding a prophecy. This book has it all – good characters that develop, mystery, suspense, romance, humor, fae, and a swoon-worthy…well I’ll just stop there! Don’t want to spoil it!
I love Chanda Hahn’s takes on classic fairytales. She has a way of bringing characters to life. This was such a great book!!
Oh my gosh, I love Chanda Hahn’s other books and she just keeps getting better! This book was AMAZING and the best way I can explain that is to say I was given an ARC of thia book for an honest review, but I still PURCHASED it because it was so good the author definitely earned it. This book continues with the Daughter of Eville and gives us Eden’s cinderella story and I just couldn’t put it down. I love that we got to see new Fae and more info on the sisters(I keep trying to guess which sister gets which fairy tail). I can not wait to read Meri’s story Of Sea and Song
Chanda did it again. I absolutely love this book.
A recreation of Cinderella, this is the second book in the Daughters of Eville series. (Although, you can read them alone.)
Her mother’s instructions are simple: Get the shoes, get the prince, get revenge. This story is personal…and not all fairytales have a happily ever after. Does this one???
Like the first book in the series, you never know which twist or turn the book will make. Who is actually a villian and who is the hero? Eden is very relatable…she doubts everything she does and never thinks she is good enough. Her specialty is glamour – she can make people believe they see someone else.
Can she avenge her parents? Can she sneak into the ball? Or will she get caught and fail?
This book was very entertaining! I read through it in under two days…and I will probably go back and re-read it soon! I am already looking forward to book 3!
Of Glass and Glamour is that one book that you definitely need to pick up. This is the second book in the Daughters of Eville series and is just as amazing as the first book. It follows Eden and the revenge she needs to take on the Kingdom of Candor, her goal is to “get the shoes, get the guy, and get revenge.” I love Eden, she is so much stronger than she thinks she is. I loved Dorian from the beginning and couldn’t wait to see what his role was in the story. There were many twists throughout the story and was hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading more books from this series.
I didn’t see that coming! Eden is so unsure about herself for the majority of the story. It’s was fun to watch her grow into being confident in her powers, pretty comical and relatable. She is not the best in reading people, even up until the end. Always running away..
I am super happy we got a glimpse into what Rose is up to. Anxiously awaiting the next installment in the daughters of Eville
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I read this book. I dropped everything to just read this book. Eden is a just the right amount of mystery. She has secrets she doesn’t even know she has. She is stronger then what she gives herself credit for. Her choices she has to make leave you wondering if and who will be left alive at the end of the whole thing. I screamed and had tears over Dorian. I mean come on do you have to be a butt? Do we have to love you and hate you both? YES to both. I could feel him laughing at the emotions he was causing. Evandor, SMH the poor prince. His story is not everything I was expecting. He has a twisted life and his story was sad but expected at the end. Everyone has a different fairy tale. It is the person who makes the story. You make your own Happy ending. I ending this book in a big mess of mush and feelings. I am so happy with the way Eden’s story was told and the ending was the best.
What a great follow-up to Of Beast and Beauty (book #1 in the Daughters of Eville series). Eden’s journey is filled with self doubt and second guessing herself but finally comes into her own with encouragement from her sisters and others along the way. Chanda is a master at weaving characters and stories together without spoiling her plot plans too early in the book. Great read, already anticipating Of Song and Sea!
Another great Chanda Hahn book. Her books keep getting better and better. I couldn’t put this one down. I finished it in a day and was sad there was no more to read. It has been a while since I have found a book that I couldn’t book down. I love how this Cinderella-type book is nothing like any other Cinderella story I have read before. I loved all the twists from the classic story but spun a new way so I never knew what would happen. It kept the story fresh and interesting. I’m loving all these Daughters of Eville and can’t wait for more.
Wow, this is a keeper! I could reread this one over and over. This might be my favorite Chanda Hahn book (Do I say that after every new book that she releases…maybe), but seriously it’s so good. This book is so fresh. It’s the Cinderella story like you’ve never heard before and it sucks you in right from the start. I just love books that you can’t put down. I’m loving this series so far. I love that the books are connected, but can stand alone. This book tells about Eden’s journey, and I just love her personality. She gets stronger and more confident as the story goes on, and Dorian…phew, he’s so bad and good! You love him and hate him at the same time. You are going to love this book!
Be prepared to dive deep into Eden’s world, and hang on for a awesome ride. This series is out of this world. The world building, and descriptions had be visioning a beautiful world. I very much enjoyed diving more into the Fae creatures in this book. The descriptions of each and what they do. Loved it!!
This book was so hard to put down. It was amazing. I highly recommend this series!!
I love how each book of this series is written as a stand alone and yet they all work well together as a series.
Can’t wait to read Meri’s tale next!!
