I found this book to be a thoroughly enjoyable read. The author did a wonderful job of writing in a way that made you actually feel the emotions of the main characters. The way they initially met and then their reunification was extremely well done. Also an ending that leaves you ready for a sequel. HEA.

This was quite hauntingly beautiful. Coral is a Mermaid, believes that she’s always been one, not knowing that she has a human past, just unable to remember her childhood, no matter how she tries. Yet pure curiosity leads her towards discovering the truth, through Ronan, someone who knows her, knows her past, and has lived with the burden of her loss and the blame for that for all the four years that she’s been away. Only bravery and courage will fill in the blanks to their many questions.
I was quietly impressed with this. Would love for there to be a sequel.
Final rating: – Really liked.
Icve said it before and I’ll say it again, everything Laura Greenwood writes is gold! This story is no exception. I love mermaids and merfolk and I was just blown away by this book. I hope we see more of Polly in the next few books!

This is a heartbreaking story about Ronan and Coral who one day go swimming in the ocean when suddenly Coral goes missing. Ronan is blamed and lives with the guilt of losing her. Years later they are reunited but she is a merwoman with no memory of her childhood. Great writing and a beautiful story with twists that intrigued me and kept me turning the pages.

I loved it. Nice romance.
Four years ago, Ronan lost the love of his life in an accident at sea. He torments himself for her death, hebblames himself for not having been able to save her. And her family, of which he was always a part, believes that he killed her. It hurts him that they don’t see that he would have never hurt her.
Coral, a mermaid, does not feel comfortable in the sea. She feels that it rejects her, that she doesn’t belong there, although her first memories are linked to the sea. Is that so? Because she isn’t sure anymore. She notices a void inside her. And, when she meets Ronan, she feels attached to him in a way she can’t explain. And he seems to know her from before. It’s impossible, because it’s the first time she has met an human.
I loved Ronan. It hasn’t been easy for him. Not only did he lose his best friend and is tormented by it, but her family hates him. His heart was broken, he missed her terribly, and there was no grave to take flowers to. He had not even been able to return to the place where she drowned. Her sister rejects him.
I loved Coral. At first, she couldn’t accept what Ronan told her, that they knew each other. She would remember him. But meeting him, and together with her feeling of not belonging to the sea, makes her want to know more about her past.
I loved that Romance accepted Coral so easily. She was a mermaid, but she was still his best friends, the woman he loves.
I didn’t like the two of them swimming just to please their families. But I liked that they do to spend more time with each other.
I loved Polly.
I loved the fantástica twist.
I recommend it
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.

Wow this story hits you in many of the feels! Poor Ronan deals with a ton of backlash when Coral disappears for four years. We also see Coral dealing with life as a mermaid and the fact that she can not produce magic like the rest of the mer folk. I loved the ending and how Coral finds out that she really is not a mermaid and how she handles the situation. I really do hope that the second part of this series comes out after we see what happens at the end with Polly. I read this book in the Creatures Box Set
This was an interesting read. I loved the characters, and really felt for Ronan when seeing how his friendship with Polly went after Coral’s disappearance.
I liked the ending, and am looking forward to learning more about Merrick.

Book one in Tails From the Sea and what nice start it is too. Ronan has suffered for four years as he is blamed for the mysterious disappearance of his BFF Coral. What they don’t know it that she is now mermaid with no memory of who she was though she is not happy in the sea. Fate brings the two of them together again and of course love conquers all in the end. This is sweet tale of true love with a nice mermaid twist. I recommend it to fans of paranormal romance. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
This is a sweet story about guilt, blame, and in the end love. I really liked Coral and Ronan. Ronan has been blamed by Coral’s family for Coral’s disappearance for the last 4 years. He also has some of his own guilt. Coral has been a mermaid, has amnesia, and has been living with and being taught by Merrick. I like that Ronan doesn’t let his anger at having been blamed for Coral’s disappearance get in his way. He is so sweet with Coral and genuinely loves her. I do wish we had seen some more of Merrick’s POV, to find out how he felt in the end.
