In walks a tattooed billionaire who curls my toes with his British accent.
He’s young, rich, powerful, and can’t seem to keep his eyes off me.
Only problem is… he goes back to his life in England in two short days.
Oh, well. Nice while it lasted.
Tristan
I grew up in construction, thanks to my overbearing father.
But stuck in a suit, making deals in L.A. is so not my cup of tea.
I may be the boss’s son, but getting dirty and working with the guys on-site is where I’m at.
Then a quiet drink at the bar and the sight of those delicious curves makes it all worthwhile.
And I’m as happy as Larry when she offers to show me around her city before I leave.
I’m captivated by her alluring smile and warm personality the more time I spend with her.
I know I have to fly back to England, but she makes it even harder to go back there.
I hope we’ll meet again…soon
The Oceans Apart trilogy is a flirty, sexy, humorous read. A British billionaire romance with no cheating and a happy-ever-after in Book 3.

Ginny meets Tristan at a club after her ex cheats on her and her roommate Kari forces her to go out. They have a great instant connection and decide to spend the next day together. Their attraction grows, but Tristan has to return home, thousands of miles away. They take advantage of technology and *really* get to know each other. I like that they didn’t rush into a physical relationship, they actually got to know each other. There was plenty of heat despite the long distance, as well as humor. Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, not too dramatic, but I can’t imagine not going right into book 2.

This is book one in a three book series so this book and the next will leave in a cliffhanger. That being said, I wasn’t sure how I would be able to stay interested in a three book series about a long-distance romance but I was pleasantly surprised. Ginny Peterson just had her heart broken by her cheating boyfriend, Brad so her BFF Kari drags her out to their local night hopes some alcohol might just give her the liquid courage and confidence to dip her toes back in the dating pool. Tristan is a sexy Brit who has had a hard week in LA full of meetings and stuffy men in suits and just wants a drink to try and relax. Neither expects the instant attraction and surprisingly strong feelings they have for each other in that unexpected meeting. What transpires in their hot and heavy trans-Atlantic relationship surprises them both, but can they make it work?
I was given an ARC through Booksprout in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Think I might have had an older version though ‘cos books 1 & 2 appeared to be one book to me. Nevertheless this was a really good tale of an extraordinary meeting between a wealthy construction brit & a paralegal american curvy girl. Chemistry was off the charts but real life had a habit of getting in the way. Could they possibly move on from a mere hot as sin attraction to something more? Read on, you will not be disappointed. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
I don’t like cliffhangers and prefer to read the whole story in one book but I like Amanda Heartley’s writing and so decided to give this a shot. I was not disappointed. Ginny and Tristan have their own issues going on in their lives but once they meet, it’s like electricity hit. It’s just too bad he lives in London and is only in LA for a couple days. But the time they spend together is steamy and electric.

Ginny and Tristan’s story gets off to a promising start. I loved the chemistry between these two. There is a lot going on as the storyline unfolds, so you should never find your attention wandering. Heat, heart, humor and plenty of drama are combined to create a very enjoyable read. Be prepared for the cliffhanger because this is only book one.
