Discover the New York Times bestselling Lux series, which RT Book Reviews called “A thrilling ride from start to finish,” from the very beginning… hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don’t kill him first, that is.

Daemon Black, need I say more?
Loved everything about it. I’m hooked on the series.
Part of an awesome series. I was so disappointed when the series was over because I wanted more! This author has a unique sense of her characters. I love ANYTHING she writes!!
Teenage angst with the twist of alien teenager and human teenager, add government oversight concerns and it is an interesting read. Meant for young adult reading. Leaves you wanting to purchase other books in the series to include the other POV.
This isa true page turner, if you are into teen paranormal romance… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO YOU .
Good start to this YA series.
The MC holds on to her flawed reasons not to be with Daemon way to long. It goes way past annoying dragging out the slow-burn to what seems an unrealistic amount of time. Other than that the action is really good. Too much time is spent in the MC’s head though, but I keep reading hoping Katy finally just admits her feelings and sticks with it. …
Hands down my all time favorite series. Daemon can be a total ass but despite that I quickly fell in love with him. He’s definitely my number one book boyfriend. This book as all other books in the series were total page turners that I couldn’t put down. I’m embarrassed to admit I’m currently reading the series for the third time (back to back). I …
Since I’m so late to this series, I’m going to keep this review short and sweet. The first half of this book was 3 stars for me and the reason I don’t like YA books. The second half so much better 4 stars and the reason I will definitely read book 2. Daemon is a jerk and so mean to Katy but I loved him. Katy annoyed me in the beginning but as she …
Characters with unique personalities very funny and sarcastic
Has there been a book or book series that you saw AMAZING reviews of for years all over the place but never took the time to experience for yourself? For me, the Lux series is a at the top of that list. For years I’ve seen people post about it all over and talk about how amazing and unique it is, but with so many books already on my shelves and …
If I was in middle school, I might give this a 5 star rating.
However, I think the romance is just a little off the mark.
The formula follows the cliche pattern: Girl is new in town. She’s a bit of a loner. Girl meets boy that is a jerk, and for some reason he can’t be with her. Blah blah blah. Reminds me of Twilight and ever other teenybopper …
I’m not one to read books that involve aliens, HOWEVER, Daemon Black has made me a whole lot more open to it.
This series captured me from beginning to end. It not only has romance and twists and turns, but she’s even able to throw in a lot of action, making every book a page-turner. Jennifer Armentrout is a great storyteller.
I absolutely loved this book. One of my favorites. If you like characters that are relatable and characters that you can fall in love with, this is the book. Amazing!
I can’t even tell you how much I love this story. There are no words for it. Daemon Black is HOT!
He is the hottest Alien I’ve read about. I love everything about him. – He is passionate and so much fun. He strongly feels the need to protect the ones he loves, even when it means to lose his own life.
His jealousy and smartassness is adorable. He …

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this book it was AMAZING. This is now one of my favorite YA series. It was different from the usual PNR books I read. I was hesitant to read this because alien books are not my favorite but it was awesome how she wrote the Luxen race. I read all five books in this series in two days. Daemon was so funny I …
I wasn’t sure at first about reading a paranormal romance involving aliens and so I had put off reading this series for quite some time. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to dive in. The writing, character development and storyline kept my interest and while it wasn’t necessarily a “stay up all night, must finish” page turner …
I love all the works that Jennifer L. Armentrout. I have read authors that write series and seem to get lazy or loose interest in the series before it is over. This author is not one of them. This series is great to the end. Katy and Daemon are funny together and I love that Jennifer writes them in such a way that it is believable. Daemon is not a …
I love this book and the rest of the series its so romantic its about a girl named Katy who has fallen for a boy who’s a hot head and really perverted and mean as hell
