What a girl wants
There is so much information in this book. It’s the perfect beginning to a series. The author touched a little on each of the important characters and then went in depth with the storyline and the couple striving for their HEA. I love how each character gained strength from knowing London and she took strength from knowing them. I enjoyed this book and the wild ride it took us on. I can’t wait to read the next book.
When I first read the blurb about this book I was a little nervous being it mentions there would be wolves, bears, tigers, panthers and jaguars in it. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to keep them all straight and that it would pull me out of the book. However, I am a huge fan of Bryce Evans and put my trust in her writing that it wouldn’t get confusing. Best decision ever!!!
The book centers on two best friends, London and Zoey. I really liked this friendship. Most books, focus solely on the relationship between the male and female and forget about their friendships. They both had each others back at pivotal parts in the book and I loved that.
I loved the relationship between London and Ryder. I liked that their relationship wasn’t instalove. There was an attraction there but both of them were too stubborn to admit it and so instead fought with each other. Their chemistry was hot and as a reader you could feel it.
Lastly, I liked the relationship between the alphas. I really liked that even though they were different species they worked together to make a safe place for either kind. I did enjoy the “date” between London and Nolan. Nolan knew he needed to push his friend and just how far to do it.
I would recommend this book to anyone!
Bryce Evans has a way with dialogue that cannot be taught, you cannot help but feel the intensity of the feelings she invokes with both her imagination and natural creative writing.
This is the start of a superb series that winds itself around you and draws you into every bit of action, mystery and intrigue found within the storyline and the characters.
Both Ryder and London are stubborn to a fault, and I found it almost impossible to not laugh as they battled with each other, considering they are extremely similar in their personality and makeup it was like watching two people battle with themselves only to find out that what has been destined cannot be avoided.
This series has so many intricate designs woven within the immediate story, that Ms Bryce will keep you coming back wanting to know what the outcome could finally be especially with the possible introduction of other powerful supernatural entities.
Beautifully scripted with enough spice, fun and ongoing intrigue to cause an avid reader the desire to want to be part of understanding what the final outcome will be.
If paranormal romance is a favourite of yours then this is definitely one series you need to get involved with now.
Strong female lead. An Alpha male. She won’t take his crap or anyone else’s. She stands up for those she cares about. Witches and shifters, who can ask for anything more. Very steamy
