Nicole must confront a dangerous and vile enemy. An enemy she encountered over a year ago. An enemy still haunting her dreams.
With the first of four talismans safely in Nicole’s control, she and her friends begin their search for the next three. But several things get in their way—an evil device that prevents the usage of magic, vampire birds that render their victims immobile, and Keitus’s … immobile, and Keitus’s constant planning and scheming.
On top of the traps and obstacles they must get through, Nicole, Austin, and Lizzie find themselves lacking in the magic department. They must strengthen their powers—otherwise, they’ll lose traction on the things they’ve already gained.
Will Nicole and her team be ready for the epic showdown with old enemies? Or will they lose the talismans to an evil race they haven’t faced in over a year? Find out for yourself by downloading Obscure today!

Nicole finally has the fire talisman, but now they have to get the next one. They must travel back and forth between worlds and Nicole finds out she is a guardian of magical items. With some trails and setbacks, can they get the next talisman before Keitus? This another great world building book from Andrea. You really get the sense that you are there with the characters! I can’t wait to read the next book.
This book is definitely part of a series and a wonderful addition it is. The team flies back into action to secure the second talisman. Their journeys are again full of peril ,pain, and magic. Time is seriously disrupted. I was shocked (in a good way) at some of the twists and turns I encountered throughout this book. I had an “Alien” moment that creaped me out. Definitely an adventure with romance firmly in the background. A clean read with no swearing. It does have a little gore, a little kissing and some hand holding. I cannot wait for the next installment of The Mosaic Chronicles!!!
Nicole and her crew go after another talisman. With their powers getting stronger will they find getting this one any easier? I don’t think so!! The author, Andrea Pearson has put in some new problems for the crew to solve.
This series is so exciting. I read the book as fast as I can. There is always a new problem for Nicole to solve and she eventually does, even at the cost of some private, personal pain, not only for her but also or her friends.
Adventure, travel, love, mystery, what more could you want in a book.
I can’t believe that I read Obscure in two days! This is a blending of two series, Kilenya Chronicles and Mosaic Chronicles, that really spice up the story. You just can’t believe how much trouble the friends get into trying to find the amulets before Keitus does. Suspenseful and a real delight to read. Now I’m ready for the next book in the series! *I received a free eBook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Ok, some background here. I loved the first five Mosaic Chronicles books. When I finished the last of those (the excellent Reclaim) I was both pleased with how things were tied together and a bit bummed that there were no more. I put it on my tickler to check periodically to see if additions were written and then (confession time) forgot to do that. My bad – but the good thing is that when I finally did check there were three more bits of goodness to enjoy, Conceal, Obscure and Enshroud.
I’ve now gone on a major binge read (the advantage, or disadvantage (?) of being on vacation and having the time to do so) and read Conceal, Obscure and Enshroud in a (relatively) single sitting. I had not planned to do so but they were too tasty to not do so. They even crossed over terrifically with Andrea Pearson’s excellent Kilenya series (though you don’t need to have read those to enjoy these books – the crossover is extra sweetener).
I note all this ’cause that’s in effect my review: if you enjoyed the other Mosaic books (and if you’ve not read them you’ve really got to – you’re missing something really great) and like addictively good, fun reads, then all three of these books are definitely “must reads” and highly recommended.
With Obscure you really get your moneys worth. Lots of action and adventure. Nicole and company find all kinds of prickly situations they have to find creative ways to wiggle out of. It really keeps the reader on tiptoes trying to figure out what will happen next. Ms Pearson truly knows how to make those twists and turns keep turning. Love that this book is a mix with Kilenya Chronicles but not necessary to have read it. Now on to book eight.
A great read. Nicole is coming more into her magic. She must face off with a dangerous person from her past. This Author really does a great job at bringing the Characters personalities out. And as you read she brings out the scenes so vividly. A definite must read.

Loved the characters, fun exchange, and perilous adventures! I bought the whole series!
GRAB A HOLD AND HANG ON!!!
I can say one thing with absolute honesty. Andrea doesn’t pull any punches. This was as kickass as the rest of this series. The scenes, characters, the locations, all of it was so realistic and spot on. I was so engrossed in this read I couldn’t put it down until the very last word. The twists and surprises just kept coming, keeping my attention and focus on the pages. Andrea’s insight and imagination is out of this world. I don’t know where she gets her inspiration but I am totally sold. She has such talent that this just seems so effortless and smooth. Once again I’m in awe. Incredible job Andrea.
