Wow Elijah and Giana were just amazing Giana being his little toy even with her past that she had she was just amazing and Elijah being the daddy that she needed he was just wonderful in protecting her caring for her even with being two lost souls they found love in one another Mrs.Rene did a wonderful work with this two characters and even though I still haven’t read the first one in this series this one story was just perfect I hope we get to hear more of Sins of Seven soon would love to know Oliver,Carrick and all the others characters stories too.
Holy wow, what a tale of debauchery, destiny and smoking hot sex.
So many threads intertwine in this story to create a literary rope that literally slithers off the screen and wraps around your neck to suck you into Eli and Gia. I’m not going to spoil things and identify each element, but this really is a cracking book and my favorite of the series so far.
I will say that there is a ridiculously hot menage scene in which my panties melted briefly before disintegrating. I kinda have my sights set on Oliver, if I’m honest.
Highly recommended and I’m waiting to devour the next book in the series.
This is the amazing story of Eli and Giana, Eli journey through the changes.
This is seriously five star read!
Whisper By Dani Rene is book Two in the Sins of Seven Series. This is the story of Eli and Gia.
I have read the previous book “Kneel” and feel that you would enjoy this one more if you do too. But if you want to make this a standalone book you can.
Eli and Gia both have darkness that they are trying to deal with. There are emotions and hurt that we see play out and how they overcame their situation to find each other again.
Another great dark romance from Ms. Rene.
Oh my lord this book was just so amazing and 5 plus from Dani. This is book 2 in the Sins of Seven and once again Dani blows it out of the water with her way with word’s as shespins this dark and twisted tale of Eli & Giana two soul’s that are broken from different circumstances yet are drawn towards each other her being younger and craving a love that only Eli can fill, but he lost his wife and said he’d never love anyone like that again, but then he discovers Giana and knows she’ll be someone that could change his mind. This was such an emotional and erotic sensual story that you can’t help but feel for these characters as to what they have been through. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. This is definitely a must read if you haven’t one clicked it yet you need to.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book
The dedication got my eye right off the bat….
“To woman who love the dark.
Who submit and relinquish control.
Be careful who you give that gift to,
Not all are worth your submission.”
– love, love, love this
Eli and Gia are an odd couple, to say the least. I couldn’t quite get into Gia’s character, she was needy, extremely unsure of herself, and questioned herself quite a bit. Eli, he mourned in very different ways, and battled himself constantly about Gia, and his deceased wife.
What I can say that I loved about the book, was all the steamy sex! There was tons, and it was sexy, powerful, and dominating.
The repetition of the book is what put me at 3 stars, the same thing being repeated at least 2 to 3 times on one page was ridiculous, seemed like it was used as a filler, like the author didn’t have anything creative to put in there.
I do not give spoilers at all, I want the reader to always go in blind, and have their own opinion about the book.
I could not get into these characters. Lots of repetition of the same thing over and over. And over. His wife is dead. He can’t love anyone else. But here’s this girl. I think I could love her. But, my wife died. I can’t love anyone else. But this girl. I think I could love her. But my wife died… you get the idea. No thank you. DNF Gave up at 64%.
Elijah and Giana’s story revolves around lust. It’s a need, drawing you in to the moment. Your voice is hardly heard, like a whisper trying to be heard over a raging river. Giving into lust brings pleasure and pain, don’t fight it just feel it.
Eli met her years ago, when Riley was only seventeen. She was a waif of a girl, lost but beautiful in her torment. Unable to focus on anything but himself, he leaves her behind. He had enough to cope with and had no idea what his actions would do. Eli likes to play with a new toy, he can be a little rough and he gets bored easily. He has his eye on a new innocent toy, Giana works at the coffee shop and behind the bar at Seven Sins.
Giana is a fighter she has been through more than any human should have to. She is vulnerable, broken and just wants to be loved and not disposed of. When Eli gives her his card and tells her to meet him, she hopes she can make him take note and keep her. She wants nothing more than to please “daddy”. Unfortunately both of their past’s are going to come between them.
Eli and Giana ripped my heart from my chest and then put it back in the most beautiful way. The story is very emotional and I found myself flipping from wanting to cry to being all hot and bothered. The characters are both so broken, but together they are almost whole. The story isn’t too dark, but there are dark-ish elements. Instead, you get heartbreak, silent suffering, passionate moments, secrets kept and revealed, and two people who belong together in the worst way. Witnessing their journey to that togetherness will leave you breathless and wanting more.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I am loving the Sins of Seven books. Dani is so great at bringing two damaged people together, and them loving each other only the way they can. Obey is about Giana and Elijah coming together when they each need each other the most. Others won’t understand their love and needs, but they understand each other perfectly. I can’t wait to read the rest of the Sins of Seven books. Amazing as usual!
Interesting dark and dirty romance! I was captivated from the very first chapter. It kept getting better and better as I kept reading. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Obey was a thrilling and dark 5 star read and book two in the Sins of Seven series.
All I can say is WOW, I was on the edge of my seat until the epilogue.
This is Giana and Elijah’s story.
Eli is a dom with specific tastes, he loves his “toys”. He has is heart closed off from women, he has a heartbreaking past that had me ugly crying at times. My heart went out to him. However, there was one woman that he felt a connection with but he left her, to save her. But he was wrong.
Sins are evil. They taunt us, bringing us to the point of madness, leaving only shells behind. An empty carcass of the person they devoured.
Gia has a past that has broken her, when she met Eli he gave her what she needed, then he left. Someone else came into her life and her life became a living hell, until she escaped two years later. Now she has a different look and is working at a coffee shop and Seven Sins. Seven Sins is where she saw him again, she finally found him, now to get him back.
A girl with a hungry heart always believes love comes from physical contact. At least that’s what the physiatrists said.
These two are so hot together, they both give each other exactly what they need. And there is even more than expected between them. Eli knows that Gia has secrets, will he be able to get her to open up to him? Will he stay or go when he learns her secrets?
There is so much that goes on in this book. Just when you think things are going great there are big twist and turns. And Gia was giving me mixed emotions with some decisions she was making, not sure I agreed with her. The epilogue settled my nerves and I was happy with the ending. I would love to see more from these two, I feel like there is a lot more to there story.
I will warn that there are some scenes that could cause triggers for some. They even made me cringe and I love dark reads. Thank you Dani René for another story that pulled me right in. The more I get into the series the darker it seems to be getting. I can’t wait to read book three.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Elijah and Giana were brought together through pain and loss. Can a man who has loved deeply, then been torn apart by death, ever pull himself out of the depths of that loss and despair and allow himself to love again? Can a woman, who was dragged into depravity at a young age, then forced to live in hell somehow survive and find joy and love for the first time in her life? How can she move beyond the ugly past to embrace the promise of a fulfilling future?
Giana brings out feelings and emotions within Elijah’s soul that he thought were long since buried. He foolishly believes he does not desire love or a partner, only an erotic, sensual, obedient toy. He was broken by a love torn from his arms too soon. Giana was crushed and trampled into shards by cruel, selfish abusers.
For me, this was an intense and gripping story of pain and survival. It is dirty, decadent, soul shattering, erotically stimulating story of pain and pleasure, despair and renewal.
5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional and thrilling read

Just finished reading Whisper and my heart still pounding …it is an intense , unpredictable, engrossing , and rousing rollercoaster of story .
A dark tale of love lost and love found, redemption , forgiveness and self acceptance. It’s full of drama , angst , passion and steam that will keep you fully engaged and panting . You won’t be able to put the book down .
Dani René books have an unique , organic and interesting feel to them. I am looking forward reading more from this author.
Dani Rene has blew me away this time with Obey. What an amazing read.
The story is gripping, hot, sexy, violent, dangerous and sad all In one. I was hooked right from the start. Gia is a broken soul who is in love with Eli, he is also broken and has been for a long time. Gia does her day to day jobs until Eli invite her over to play with his dominent side daddy.
There is a great connection between the 2 characters dom and sub and also as regular people.
She has a dark past which comes back to haunt her. There is violence, bloodshed, torture but there is also love and caring. I really enjoyed this book and I think its 1 of Dani’s best. I can’t wait for the other sins of seven books I think we’re in for a treat.
This is book two in the Sins of Seven series. I highly recommend you read Kneel before you read this one.
Whisper is Eli and Gianas story and what a story it is too. The storyline is superb. I felt as if I was Pac Man reading this. I just wanted to gobble it all up.
If you enjoy your books dark and dirty then I highly recommend you read this series. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author.
Holy this book was amazing, not if u don’t like dark situations tho. Both going thru a troubled past one darker and more violent than the other. They find together they can bare the pain of the past and let it go. Extremely dark and very non talked about issues in this book which was amazingly written
This was beyond what I was expecting,it was so much more.Eli and Gia were so broken from two different situations that happen in their past and I loved how we got to see the flashbacks on how they became so broken. This was emotional, raw and heartbreaking in places but oh so deliciously hot at the same time. The characters were so strong as the story took you into their world and their minds right along with them.It was dark and light mixed perfectly together with the elements of pain, pleasure and total trust and submission to try and find where you belong.I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book
Dani René has done it again. Whisper is the second book in this stand alone series, about the seven deadly sins. This books had me hooked since the first page. Is a roller coaster of emotions and hot scenes that leave you breathless.
This book follows Eli and Gia’s story. Eli a man that has lost his wife is suddenly on out pilot just living life and going thru women from club Sin without a care. He no longer wants to give his heart to anyone he is hurt and the darkness just takes over him.
Gia is a young girl that has been thru so much she is broken, shattered to pieces by a man. She is at the point that no longer wants to live. She meets Eli and they make a connection, but she is to young and Eli can never give her what she needs, he can’t save her or so he thinks.
As the years have past Gia is on a mission to find the only man that can put her back together but would he want to. She is broken beyond repair and Eli is just like her. Two souls that are in pieces on the floor, needing one an other to keep on going in life.
Their story is of love, of shattered hearts and souls.
This story tugged at my heart, so many emotions. Loved every second of it. Is well written, the chemistry between this two characters is scorching hot. Please read the warnings the author gives, if you think is not your cup of tea, well don’t read it. But if you do read it enjoy it, is dark, emotional, angst, suspenseful and hot!
**I was Lucky enough to read An ARC of this book and this is my honest review ***
5 scorching Stars!!!!
When the sinners leave you hungry for more, Elijah certainly can fill you right up!
This one had a great big dose of holy damn thats deep, its raw and brutal, sinking right to the depths of pain and darkness.
I loved how real the characters felt, their pain, pleasure and the way they bury it so far down that itll never come to light. This story was heavy on the emotions and even hotter and heavier in the bedroom.
Elijah is Sinful and delicious, and a hard man to love. Gia is a shattered shell of what she could be abd Elijah is the only one who can put her back together. There was so much to this story, it had everything I could want and more.
Some parts had me hotter than heatwave and other parts had me chilled like an ice box. There was even a point where I was so upset and breaking that I nearly threw my kindle. Dani René really pulled out all the stops in this one. Lets see what else she has got up her sleeves!
