Holy cow!! That was super stressful, and more shocking surprises!! The character growth is making me fall in love with some of these characters more and more!! Especially December & Easton !!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Wow! This book blew me away. some questions were answered. Just when I thought I had some things figured out – new twist was thrown.
I love how December is really coming into her own. Her love for family and friends continues to grow stronger and stronger, no matter the trials thrown at her.
I can’t wait to see what happens next.
The third book in Wendi Wilson’s Oberon Academy series was just…wow. And I mean WOW. There are twist, turns, and the overall question of ‘What is going on with everyone?’ that gets explained in jaw-dropping fashion, making for page-turning late night reading. Be prepared to not sleep until you’ve finished it.
December is finally getting into a groove where life is good and things are going well. She has her father, her friends, and the perfect boyfriend in Easton, she’s even getting a better handle on her magic, but it’s not long before the shoe drops and everything gets turned upside down with the arrival of Puck. Now the whole school seems to be against her, even her best friend finds reasons to fight and push her away, but things aren’t always what they seem, and boy does Ms. Wilson deliver with an unexpected twist I did not see coming. I cannot wait for book 4 to see what happens next.
OMG this third book is just fantabulous! Well written once again I got totally lost in this story as the plot continues to thicken! The characters continue to grow, the storyline continues to twist and turn and chaos continues to reign! This series is a definite must read!
Wow this is a fantastic series. December Thorne after learning truths her path has dramatically changed. The Author brings a fantastic storyline. That captures from the first to the last page, and is a real page turner. This Author has really hit a home run. I definitely recommend.

Pure shock and awe with a side of I’m gonna kill that character!! I loved how the plot thickens and the story becomes so much more intense. It was full of twists, developments, and sweet moments that played with my emotions and left me hungry for more. I adore December’s bonds with both Shaela and Easton, even when tested. Wilson seems to perfectly capture the teen experience and presents it in a way that is both relatable and challenging for readers. I relished December’s moxie and haven’t wanted to strangle a character this much since Umbridge. I loved the ending and couldn’t be more excited for the next!
This is a terrific story told by a fabulous author Wendi Wilson! I urge you to start this series with the first book Oberon Academy: The Orphan moving on to The Zephyr and finishing (for now) this book The Sylph.
You will be caught up in the drama these characters are in and they will cease to be characters but will be your friends and you can experience their highs and lows like you were there!
There are surprises in this book I for one didn’t see coming! Wendi just spreads her magic over the series and you are reading up into the night to see what happens next!
Do yourself a favor and start this series today! You won’t regret it as you embark on the life of an orphan who discovers that she isn’t really human after experiencing the worst that society could throw at her and still survive it all. I anxiously await book 4 to see what happens next in the saga of December Thorne and her friends.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to readers of all ages as a book I believe you will all enjoy.
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
This series is gripping and definitely one that I would absolutely recommend.
This book had me captivated from the very first page I love December and Easton and the journey they are on with them both destined to be royalty but for different sides
In this book we meet the trickster Puck, who throws December’s life into turmoil as soon as he arrives. But what game is he playing? It’s not until the end of the book that you’ll find out what’s happening. I don’t want to write too much as it might give the book away, and I don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun.
I can’t wait to read the last book in the series to see what happens to December, Easton, Shaela and Charles.
I’d definitely recommend this book/series
There is sooo little I can say without setting spoilers but OMG!!! How can Puck cause so much craziness in the school without being called out and oh that twist in the end… Believe, I didn´t see that one coming and completely surprised me, in an awesome way!! As always, Easton remains the perfect boyfriend and that is something that I love… Ready for book 4
