What a fitting ending to this series! It was a tense, exciting read that had me experiencing December’s gamut of emotions along with her. It was intense, devastating, and beautiful. The parallels to modern society lent additional intrigue and I loved the glipse beyond at their world. Amazing characters, thought-provoking storyline and more wholesome, upbeat tones make this story a standout for academy and ya readers.
Eeeeek!!! I LOVED the final book in this series. ***SPOILER ALRTT***. Finn goes into a coma like trance, so Easton becomes king. But, he gets kidnapped. His evil father becomes king, and turns out to be a double agent. I won’t spoil it anymore. Anyway… December and Easton get married and have a daughter. Finely, and will be having another. So excited to read all about Finley!!! 1000% recommend!!!
Loved, Loved, LOVED this series!!! So many twists and turns, Fae, and soulmates!! Family, Friends and love & loyalty!!! I am glowing with love for this awesome YA Fantasy Romance series!!! A perfect ending to leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy.
If you love YA, Fantasy, Romance, Fae, Fae taking over the world, and friends and family fighting together to stop the wicked Fae, then you will ADORE this book!!!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Wow, the action and adventure never stops. With each book, the story keeps getting better and better. This book had me from the beginning and I couldn’t out it down. The friendships between the main characters (December, Easton, Shelia and Charles) continued to grown stronger. December’s family kept growing stronger and even grew some more.
The revelation towards the end of the book – I thought I saw it coming, then I didn’t, then saw how it all made sense.
I love how Ms. Wilson has really developed the entire story line and each of the characters. This has truly been an amazing adventure. Each character was beautifully created and expanded on. There is so much depth and emotion with each one. I found my self cheering, crying, full of goose bumps over what was going to happen next and then joy.
I can’t wait to read what happens next!
The Queen (Oberon Academy Book 4) was an amazing conclusion to a great series. I loved every bit of it, and the ending was absolutely perfect.
In this final installment, December finally has everything she’s ever wanted, but it all starts to fall apart when tragedy strikes, someone she loves is taken, and her trust in those around her is shaken. This book is full of great twists and turns that’ll keep you guessing on who’s plotting against whom all the way to the epic showdown between December and her grandmother. It definitely kept me turning the pages well into the night. Well done, Ms. Wilson, well done!
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
I can’t believe this is the last book
This series is absolutely fantastic and definitely one that I would absolutely recommend.
This book is great with it’s twists and turns, that leave you guessing who the double agent is and what their agenda is.
Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down it is that addictive, I really enjoy the way that Wendi writes her characters, as I get invested in them and really want a happy ending for December and her family.
Although I’m gutted that this series has come to an end. I can’t wait to see what Wendi has got in store for us next
You kept me on the edge of my seat thru the whole book!!! Great way to finish this amazing series… There where times in which I felt like throwing the kindle away and not reading anymore because I got so mad, lol… But I love how it all worked out. How I hated Easton father oh my… I will surely miss this books but I will re read them
I am so enthusiastic about this book and series! Wendi has done a marvelous job of weaving a story that will captivate it’s readers and hold them glued to the pages as they find themselves reading it faster and faster to find out what happens next!
To all who see this I would urge you to please get this series! You won’t regret it! I found myself remembering how things were for me in high school and could identify with December. Of course I had no magical abilities but I truly love this series!
You have to start with book one, The Orphan, and follow the story in the next two books to finally culminate in the Queen.
It is a story young and old alike will love! It has everything, love, romance, jealousy, betrayal, Joy, happiness, grief, sorrow. You experience the highs and lows of life as you experience the good and the bad in this epic story!
I sincerely urge all who see this review to come and check this series out. I firmly believe that you will love it as much as I do and will want everyone in your circle to read it as well so they will also have the privilege and pleasure of being mesmerized by Wendi’s magic of words!
Kudos Wendi! You have a masterpiece that you can be very proud of! I will revisit December Thorne and her friends many more times. I smiled and I shed tears and experiences the gamut of those emotions from joy to being so mad at how underhanded some people can be. Sort of like life now isn’t it! The same emotions are on display daily with what news is reported or not reported and how laws are carelessly being tossed aside by some politicians. Books draw from what people do whether their actions be good or bad. We get “justice” in reading that is sadly missing in real life but we have the hope that one day that justice will be meted out.
It is a truly wonderful series and I again urge you all to pick it up and begin the journey today! You won’t regret it!
