A visit to the Annex was meant to be a night of fun. Something to relax me. Maybe I’d find a girl, maybe I wouldn’t. I had very little expectations.Until Angelica walked into the room looking like she stepped out of a 1952’s Home and Garden Magazine. It wasn’t just the sexy domestic style that caught my eye, it was more. I was drawn to her. One night. A little fun. A little roleplay. But it … roleplay. But it wasn’t enough. I don’t think I could ever get enough of her.
But my pretty girl lied. She hides something from me, and I won’t accept that. She’ll learn. And when it’s all over. When I’ve saved her from the demons chasing her, I’ll truly make her mine.
And she’ll live obediently ever after.

I just love the men from the Annex
Oh my! This author just has a way with those alpha males who take in the Annex. This book is another fantastic addition to the series. A hot alpha male who finds his HEA and does everything he can to keep her safe and happy. Yummy! I can’t wait to read all about the next drool worthy male from the Annex.
I am in love this Ever After series. Obediently Ever After is part of this series but doesn’t read like it. You do not have to read this series in order at all they are all separate.
In Obediently Ever After we meet a couple who find each other at the Annex, to find a good time for a weekend. We get Angel who is there for the first time because she needs the money and deep down wants what she is selling herself for. Damien is a strong alpha character that every woman dreams of deep down. He ends up buying Angel for the weekend, and while she is with him, they end up getting to know each other far more than just between the sheets.
This story may be shorter than the others, but it is a perfect one.
The great character and storyline development kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! As I turned each and every page I felt like Angel and Damien jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it effortlessly unfolded!
OMG! What a plot and characters. Another must read from this author in this I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.genre
There’s a lot of action going on at the Annex. Hunter and Jaelynn, Damien and Angelica. Maybe I should take a number and wait for my man of steel. Angelica is in a predicament of her own making and trying to make it right by working at the Annex. Unbeknowing to her heart Damien is waiting for his own chance at love. But the strange thing here is they both know each other from the past and once he finds her again, he won’t be letting her go. She’s feisty but that won’t stop him from spanking her tail a burning red or loving her like mad. This is a quickie ya’ll but so dang worth the read.
YES!!!!!
Obediently Ever After is worth every cent! Another great addition to the series. I do have one question: When will we see the last of these MF’s?!?!?!?! Grrrrrr!!! OMG! Please excuse my outburst, LOL. I have to commend Measha Stone on an incredible job! The story flows beautifully. There needs to be another book, please!!!
Sweet and sexy hot, this was a quick read that burned up the pages! Sweet Angelica and bossy Damien had that instant attraction that made me swoon. He’s protective of her, but she doesn’t want him involved in her troubles. Everything whizzed by so fast, but it was a wonderfully spicy compact bite of dominance and love.
Another sexy Annex couple
—>>> When Angel catches Damien’s eye at the Annex, all bets are off. He wants her in his bed and more. But first, he wants the real her, not the image she is trying to project in order to snare a contract with the club’s clients. And he also is determined to figure out exactly what she is hiding, because his gut tells him she has something weighting her down. Of course, Damien is prepared to extract the truth his way and help her, because one night is not enough to quell the lust he feels for his little pinup perfection. A sexy and steamy addition to the Annex series!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.
A visit to the Annex was meant to be a night of fun. Something to relax me. Maybe I’d find a girl, maybe I wouldn’t. I had very little expectations. Until Angelica walked inot the room looking like she stepped out of a 1952’s Home and Garden Magazine. It wasn’t just the sexy domestic style that caught my eye, it was more. I was drawn to her. Angel has made a huge mistake. She is now working at the Annex to pay off said mistake. She however is super suprised when at her first party, Damien wants a night with her. A night that will lead to something neither one of the expected. But when the secrets from Angel’s past comes back to haunt her what will happen. This you have to read to find out. I loved Angel and Damien. They have the perfect amount of attraction. Damien is actually perfect for her as she has some growing up to do. She needs to learn to be held responsible for her actions. Damien is the perfect one to teach her the things she is lacking. He gives her boundaries. He is strict when she needs him to be. On the other hand though he is loving, gentle and caring. This is a book that you girls do not want to miss. I loved every second of it. I am pretty sure this is the first book I have read set in the Annex world. I so need to go back and read the other books. I loved this one so much.
While I have enjoyed all of the books centered around the Annex, I honestly felt this one was just a bit too short to do the series justice. Angelica and Damien have an almost instant attraction to one another but the story just seemed a bit too rushed for my taste. Not to say that the book didn’t fit in with the series, or that it wasn’t enjoyable, I just would have preferred a slightly longer story.
A novella in the Ever After world. You need to have read the other books in the series otherwise it won’t make much sense.
It is not a dark book. Damian and Angelica are both old fashioned in ways and that comes across in how Angelica dresses and what Damian wants in a relationship. They have a DD dynamic going on. And I really enjoyed reading about that.
For me the actual story and the interaction feel very rushed. It is a novella so words are limited, but I wanted more interaction and more time for the main characters then they got.
Luccyyy I’m home!
Damien is bowled over by one look at Angelica and her 50’s fashion. He is an old fashioned man with old fashioned ideals. While modern in every sense I still got a flashback to a very classic old show that I’m pretty sure wasn’t as vanilla as it seemed, lol.
There are lies and manipulations, intrigue, sexy hot spankings, a dominant caring man, a woman with good intentions, lots of old “connections” and faces and a really enjoyable story with characters I loved!
This story takes us back to the Annex, or to the Annex if you haven’t read the series. It’s a stand alone, and it is only the beginning of the story that is set at the Annex. Damien is a sexy alpha male who isn’t looking for a relationship. Angel is at the Annex because she’s in trouble and hopes being there will go towards making her problems go away. However, nothing goes to plan from the very beginning, thank goodness, and the story takes off from there. This is a very sweet romance that broke my heart in a few places. There is amazing chemistry, plenty of spanking sexiness, and a beautiful HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next Annex story.
Where the alphas come out to play! Measha Stone does it again. She takes us to the tantalizing world of the Annex where disobedience is not an option once the contract has been signed. But it’s the small print that is the emotional connection the characters have that is the devil in the details. The men are dominant, the women are strong yet need the protection and attention that only their men can provide, and the chemistry between couples is explosive like throwing oil on fire. All I can say is, bring on the heat, I’m ready to get burned.
This was a sweet read with hot scenes. Angel and Damien ….so good. Short with a lot of punch.
This is a sweet but dirty story. I loved the characters of Angelica and Damien. They were so perfect for each other. It was great to touch base with previous characters. The different family characters kept the story fresh and lively.
Damien is the The Annex hoping to find someone who attracts his interest and was having no luck until he spots the sweet and sexy Angelica.
It is Angelica’s first night at the club, and she has her own reasons for being there. She needs to do well and hopefully secure a contract as failure could have a devastating effect on her life. Damien knows she has secrets and is determined to uncover them even if punishment is involved.
These two are perfect together. Damien is strong yet gentle while Angelica is feisty yet submissive and the chemistry between them is electric.
I love Measha Stone’s Annex world. I wouldn’t mind going to the Annex and hanging out for a couple of weeks. I think it would be a lot of fun, and frankly, I think the ladies would be a hoot to know, because all of them we’ve seen so far are pretty awesome.
Angel is at the Annex and about to do her first party because she needs the money. She’s gotten herself into trouble and is trying to get herself out of trouble. Too bad it doesn’t always work that way. I like her a lot. I think that she’s somewhat naive, but she has a really good heart, and she seems to bring a lot of joy to the people around her because of that nice heart and sweet core. I also think that she’s been buffeted around a little bit, and just gone with the flow.
Damien is just one of those strong steady characters that you can’t help but like. It isn’t often that there’s a male main character at whom I don’t get mad at least once in the story, but that never happens with Damien. He’s just a steady character that you want to be around, which is totally awesome.
I really enjoyed this book, and I’m looking forward to more out of this world.
Obediently Ever After is part of the Girls of the Annex series and set within Ms. Stone’s Ever After world. Angel is working at the Annex, hoping for extra money to pay off a mistake she made. She’s surprised when at her first party, Damien wants a night with her, and the start of something more. But when her secrets start to catch up to her, will Damien tame his Angel and build a future?
This book is so sweet with the perfect amount of steam, discipline, and dominant yumminess! Damien and Angel are a perfect match and pairing, and I loved their connection. I wouldn’t call Angel a brat, but she is spoiled and she gets a few lessons in growing up and being held responsible for her actions. Damien is perfect for her, as he gives her loving boundaries, is strict when he needs to, but also tender and caring. I loved that he listened to her needs! While this book may be short, there’s a lot of emotion and connection between the lead characters, and I loved the connections to the previous books with familiar characters! This book was released as a serial in Ms. Stone’s newsletter, but it has been updated and expanded some. I loved reading this book and revisiting the Annex!
Measha Stone is one of my go-to authors and this is because she never disappoints me with her stories. I found Measha through her first Ever After book entitled Beast, which led me to the second book in the series, The Tower. I was hooked after those and now I make sure to pick up her books as they are published.
Obediently Ever After is another story in the Ever After series and it focuses on Angelica (Angel) and Damien, the brother of the heroine, Azalea, in The Tower. Angel has been less than honest in her reasons for attending an event at The Annex, and Damien is determined to find out her secrets. I’m not going to give too many details on the plot (read the blurb), but I do want to relate how well the story is written. As usual, Measha entertains thoroughly. She takes my attention out of my mundane reality into other worlds of sensual delight and intrigue. Her characters are well defined and the story flows effortlessly, from beginning to end. Highly recommended.
