GIULIA
He’s dark.
Dirty.
Dangerous.
A brother in my dad’s MC.
Everything Mom told me to avoid.
Everything I shouldn’t want.
But his dark, his dirty, and his dangerous are like catnip to me.
He stirs fear into the hearts of men, but I hear his rage. I feel it like it’s my own.
He’s a killer. Shameless. Some might even call him a psycho.
I just call him soul mate.
We were born … killer. Shameless. Some might even call him a psycho.
I just call him soul mate.
We were born to raise hell together, born to make sick b*stards pay for their sins, born to be the king and queen of darkness…
Now, the king just needs to get that memo.
NYX is the first book in the ten-book ‘A Dark & Dirty Sinners’ MC’ series.
It is not a standalone.

WOW. I just discovered my new addiction! MC books by Serena! LADIES. This is like BDB by JR WARD but the MC version. I HATE MC, but SERENA MAKES ME LOVE IT!
Well hello to the Satans Sinners! Oh my goodness so fair warning, if you have triggers then read this at your own risk. We do have talks of abuse, there is action and of course a touch of sexual abuse. So Let us meet Nyx, one of the darkest men in this mc club. Well he gets the a shock when Guilia and her brothers show up at the club. Guilia is one fiesty girl who is definitely not going to put up with the guys at the compound. However, when she sees Nyx something stirs in her chest. Nyx has a really dark beast that resides inside him and when Guilia is around that beast is calm. These two are very stubborn but the chemistry is hot. Let’s not forget about the action that takes place through out the book. The one thing that is different is you not only get Nyx and Guilia pov but you also get other members povs. This kind of turned me upside down but it is needed and gives you an idea of what is coming. This was one intense crazy ride and cannot wait to read more.
Scorching hot, explosive emotions which you can easily feel seeping into the very marrow of your being with every turn of the page, make from this book an irrevocable roller-coaster of enrapturing want!
Nyx, the enforcer of the Satan’s Sinners MC is a hero perfectly catered to my preferences. The man is dark, hardened by trauma and he has a demon inside him that is only appeased by shedding the blood of those who deserve it. Villain? Sure! But are you truly a villain if you hunt the bigger villains? Nyx is a mean moth€rF**ker, but loyal to his MC, his family in all but blood.
When Giulia and her brothers arrive at the compound, her attitude provokes feelings Nyx isn’t used to. Giulia is one feisty FMC. She has an attitude and a resolution. There’s no way she will end up with a biker after what her mother went through. She grew up in the Satan’s Sinners MC and knows how it works, using it to guard herself.
She’s rude to Nyx and Nyx loves to get a rise out of her and spend time with her.
Serena Akeroyd managed to write certain scenes I would usually dislike, but when read from Nyx’s PoV, it’s actually weirdly adorable. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are the only ones who don’t realize it. I’d compare this book to a sensual ballroom dance like a tango or paso doble.
While Nyx and Giulia get a happy for now in this book, it’s obvious that their story will continue in the next book. I love how the author also incorporated the PoV of different other MC brothers, creating that feeling of a close knit brotherhood for the readers while ensnaring us even more for the rest of the ride, because we all want to know what happens with the other members.
Last, but definitely not least, we get our Five Point Fix. Remember Finn and Declan from the Screwed Duet / Five Points, Hell’s Kitchen? Yes you do! And if you don’t? Check it out!
I absolutely loved loved loved this book sooo much!
The characters were amazing and we learned so much about them and not just the main ones either.
There was the perfect mix of love, sex and OMG moments.
I can’t wait to read the next book.
Highly recommend!!
What an emotional read! An amazing example of Serena’s skills as an author. A leading man who could easily be a villain but somehow his story and fight for justice for those who have been wronged left a Nyx shaped print on my heart. Giulia is a feisty survivor fighting for her place in a male dominated world and when these two come together sparks fly off the page. MC romance at it’s best and I can’t recommend it enough
Well that was explosive!
Serena Akeroyd get back here and give me more! Be warned she is not holding back with this book. There is a trigger warning. Nothing that bothered me because I’m as twisted as the characters but for some there are themes that could be triggers. If you read her books you know she doesn’t shy away from hard topics but knows how to handle them properly. Also this series is connected to her duet Screw You/Screw Me. So I recommend reading them as well since that world is connected to the Satan’s Sinners MC world. You won’t be disappointed.
Nyx grabbed me from the first page, sank his teeth in, and didn’t let go. It made me cry, made me cheer (sue me, I’m bloodthirsty) , made me feel soooo many fecking emotions. I wanted to slap some people and stab others all while hoping Nyx would find some light in his darkness and Giulia could find a place she belongs. Are they each others missing piece?
There is a lot going on in this book but they are details you need to read for yourself and I refuse to spoil them. I will say this, this is an MC series and as such prepare yourself for dirty, filthy bikers with a penchant for violence. Satan’s Sinners MC is not to be messed with and Nyx is their Enforcer and feared by all for good reason, as you’ll see page one. The men of this MC are dirty, dangerous, and hard. You’ll get to see them along with Nyx.
The FMC, Giulia, is a firecracker with a short fuse, just ask the sweetbutts. She is strong, a ball buster, and maybe just what the devil ordered. With more blood on his hands then most of the MC, Nyx is the devil, the protector, the Enforcer. If you are a woman, then you have him on your side. But every bad*ss needs a tougher woman to ride b*tch. Giulia can go toe to toe with bikers, especially Nyx, after all she grew up there and you can take the biker brat out of the clubhouse but you can’t take clubhouse out of the biker brat.
This book is dark but beautifully written. There is a lot to this new dynamic world Serena Akeroyd has built. So much so I really hated it when it ended. I know there will be more and we’ll get to see the other men of Satan’s Sinners MC as well as more of Nyx and Giulia, but dang it I want more now. If you love MC reads, this is definitely one you want to grab and read. I highly recommend this book.
Warning! You are going to love this book! Serena Akeroyd wrote this book as a dark character who falls in love with the FMC who said she would never live in the same life as her mother did when she first returns to the MC club she grew up in and moved away from.
These two were meant to be together. I absolutely loved this book so much I read it in one sitting. She tied it into another book that is already out and she is writing more in this series. So be prepared to have your mind blown!
So much goes on in this book that will make you cry and laugh, then cry again. It was very hard to put down from start to finish.
I received an ARC review book, however it is being added to my collection of this author’s works on both my kindle and bookshelf.
**Be prepared for some triggers ** but it’s a book you don’t want to miss out on! Once finished with the book all I could say at the end is when’s the next one coming? Great read to start her 2020 year.
I can not believe it has taken me this long to read this book!! I actually read some of the other books in this series first. I am not quite sure why I kept skipping this book because out of all of the others I’ve read, this one is so far my favorite!! Don’t get me wrong I loved the other books, but I absolutely loved Nyx.
Reading the other books, we are made aware of the type of person Nyx is. He is shown to be dark and can be triggered to become violent and basically a monster. He, himself, sees himself as a monster. There is even a trigger warning in the beginning. But for me I was okay. Don’t get me wrong, there were some scenes that were pretty dark and descriptive and may cause triggers but something about Nyx was horrifically fascinating. As for Guilia, she is no stranger to the MC life, but she has been away for a while but is back with her brothers who want to be a part of the Satan Sinners’ MC. Watching their parents making each other miserable has turned Guilia completely away from the MC life and bikers in general but she cannot let her brothers go so she is also back in the MC fold where their father is. Both Nyx and Guilia felt like they were not good for each other but that explosive and intense connection and scorching chemistry could not be denied.
Nyx and Guilia are perfect for each other, I loved how as dark as Nyx is, Guilia brings out this softness in him. But she is also fierce and headstrong and she does not take any crap from anyone. The banter between Nyx and Guilia, in the beginning, was fantastic. The scenes where Nyx was just flabbergasted by her were hilarious and actually pretty sweet. They totally complemented each other. Loved everything about this book, 5-stars all the way.
So Nyx is book one in the Sinners MC series BUT book 3 in the Universe crossover. However, you will only be getting the first look at the MC when you start Nyx so be prepared for some over baring, muscle machine, hot as f*ck men!
Nyx is a dark and disturbing man to read. Nyx has taken it onto himself to kill men with a history of pedophilia because of what happened in his family in the past. The MC is okay with this as long as he takes it up with the council and they agree beforehand on who he gets to kill. That does not mean that this MC is all good and sweet. There are certain things women are never supposed to know or do when it comes to the MC.
Giulia has never been one of those women to sit around and do nothing. Her father is Dog and her mother was an Old Lady. She wants nothing to do with the MC and is only here because her brothers want to be prospects and she is saving money to leave. But when the Prez asks her to cook for the MC and the club who*es get in the way Giulia takes it upon herself to start cleaning up the club and put things in order.
Nyx and Giulia are instantly hot for each other. Giulia will take no prisoners from anyone including Nyx which I think is exactly why he falls for her. I highly enjoyed this book and welcome the rest of the sinner books!
So intense.
This is an MC book through and through. Intense, kind of dark, full of questionable choices and dubious behavior and totally enthralling.
Nyx and Giulia had this magnetic pull towards each other. Their chemistry was undeniable to the point of being almost palpable. No matter how hard they tried to stay away from each other, their connection always got the better of them.
Nyx had something really dark within himself so everyone was rightfully cautious around him. But Giulia was strong enough to call him on his mistakes and misbehavior and be her true and unapologetic self.
In a raw and flawed way, they were really the perfect match.
I can’t wait for the next books.
Totally new author for me and got to say this one really hit the spot and I will defiantly be continuing on with this series. It’s dark MC romance so comes chock full of dark and gritty language and situations. It really doesn’t pull its punches and I was hooked from the minute I picked it up.
Giulia and her brothers end up back with the Satan’s Sinners MC after their mother dies. Their dad dog is a brother and the twins want to prospect Giulia is just along for the ride she dislikes her father but isn’t prepared to lose her siblings so soon after her mum. She’s also determined not to end up like her mother: her dad’s old lady who he constantly disrespected with his cheating and violence whilst they were together this for her is just meant to be a stopgap. But she’ll need to make herself useful if she wants to stay at the compound and as she has no plans to use her body she instead offers to cook for them.
Giulia is a total spitfire and doesn’t allow anyone to disrespect her she’s has a temper and a mean mouth and she isn’t afraid to use it. She can also take care of her herself which she proves almost instantly with her take no prisoners behaviour. Nyx is the club enforcer and everyone is afraid of him he’s built a reputation over the years as being a stone-cold killer. He has a tragic backstory concerning his sister which affects his actions to this day. This has also contributed to his beliefs concerning violence against women. He’s instantly pulled towards Giulia not that you’d know it initially, their snarky back and forth banter becoming an added highlight to Nyx’s day. When the two finally get on the same page with each other there antics together were electric so full of heat with loads of delicious chemistry. I was honestly surprised by Nyx’s hidden heart beating underneath all that testosterone and BS. it just needed the right key in Giulia to unlock the potential and now he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe from harm.
This also had a great story arc that I’m looking forward to continuing and learning more about the Sinners in the future. It’s the first book in a longer series and going by this one I now have high expectations for the rest of the series. It was extremely well written with a raw gritty dark undertone that couldn’t help but pull me into the unfolding story. I definitely recommend this but do be aware this does contain triggers.

I absolutely love MC books, and after hearing about this series, I jumped into it straight away! I love Guilia’s character; a strong female with a hint of vulnerability behind the tough facade! Nyx, the clubs enforcer, is a strong, but damaged character that provides his own form a justice! I managed to read this book all in one sitting because I didn’t want to put it down, but there are definitely some plot lines that have me curious – especially who helped Guilia in the bar!
If your looking for a series with great characters and an amazing storyline, you should definitely read the Dark and Dirty Sinners series!
Serena is one of the best authors out there. Just like with Filthy, Nyx sucked me right into the story.
I briefly met Nyx in one of the Filthy books and knowing the heroine from that books history with Nyx, I did not like him going in! But seeing how things played out, I ended up loving Nyx.
I appreciated other brothers having a chapter from their point of view about what was developing between Giulia and Nyx. I was worried there wasn’t an underlying plot, but towards the end is dawned on me that the plot continues through each book which is AMAZING to do. Keeps readers invested!
** ALL THE FREAKING STARS **
My book brethren …. did is how you do a redemption romance! Somehow Serena Akeroyd managed to turn a character that was weak, vile with no hope of any HEA and turn our heads around. Like most readers of this series, I don’t think Storm aka Asher is redeemable and I couldn’t believed that SA announced that Storm will have his own book. I shouldn’t have doubt the magical weave of Serena Akeroyd. Lesson learned.
This book evoked such visceral emotions within me, at the end my chest hurt and I have this lump in my throat. This book needs a trigger warning on top of its numerous trigger warnings! You’ll be swept away, you’ll be floundering but you’ll find yourself hanging on to every word, every sentence, every chapter. I absolutely love that Storm knew he’s a fucked up, he knew he made the cardinal sin, he OWNED it! I absolutely love that SA didn’t create excuses for Storm but what she did was just laid out to us his Storm’s life journey. SA wrote one helluva flawed Hero in Storm, he will forever be one of my favourite male character.
In the beginning Kiera frustrates me to no end in this book but I love that I get to witness her growth. I cheered when she finally was strong enough, was confident enough to finally fill in the shoes of an Old Lady … Storm’s Old Lady. SA wrote created the perfect heroine for Storm and vice versa.
We must not forget about the secondary characters in this book, SA laid out some interesting groundwork for future books. I really hope to read all about Storm and Keira’s kids HEA, every one of them. SA wrote a hauntingly beautiful story of 2 flawed people and how perfect they are for each other. At the end, I had to press my fingers to my lips to stop any noises as I was bawling my eyes out (it was 2am in the morning, I didn’t want to wake my Hubby).
That final epilogue … be brave my dear book brethren … be brave and read that final epilogue. What a fitting HEA for Storm and Kiera and I am so glad that SA went all out, not many authors do that.
Thank you dearest Serena Akeroyd for your brave, creative and beautiful mind. Thank you *bawls*
Wow!! A new author to me, but I will definitely be reading more.
This was a very very good book. So delicious! The characters are dark, sexy and perfect. I couldn’t stop reading this. So glad I stumbled upon this author and I can’t wait to read more.
ℕ by Serena Akeroyd is the first book in the which has a total of 11 books.
ℕ introduces us to the world of the ’ . A MC located in the middle of the elite, rich, wealthy West Orange NJ area. They are an MC surrounded by country clubs and wealthy citizens who aren’t happy that a local MC is purchasing businesses around town. The MC is downright dirty! When Serena Akeroyd titled this a Dark and Dirty series with sinners, she was NOT kidding around! The men of Satan’s Sinners have no respect for women, but it’s all the know. In their defense the “clubwhores” had no respect for themselves and I’m not one to slut shame so they if you want to perform sexual acts in a crowded bar, by all means have at it.
This book is certainly not for women who are looking for a gentleman. If you can’t handle or don’t like a man calling a woman a bitch and degrading other women solely for the use of their personal pleasure, then this is not the book for you. I, on the other hand, loved it!
Every dark, dirty and depraved minute of it. Initially I had no idea what to expect going in and I wasn’t sure what was going on since this is a new author and I had no idea where she would go and how far she would take it. With an MC novel, you have to expect that the men are going to be dirty and treat the women with no respect. It’s just a given in the MC Romance genre that I have now become accustomed to.
Giulia and her brothers are coming back to West Orange, NJ after a long car ride hoping to get back to their hometown and home club. They grew up in the MC. Their dad is a member of the MC. He’s a downright a-hole but doesn’t show up too much in the book so you don’t have to worry about that pesky family drama ruining the book. Sometimes too much family drama in a book annoys me to no end. Giulia’s mother just died so she’s dealing with the grief of that too.
She is a badass, feisty, take no nonsense woman! I love her! When the other women get in her face, she does not cower. She gives it just as good as they bring it and 10 times worse. Ha! Go Giulia! I am so tired of seeing heroines take the high road when they’re insulted. You have no idea how frustrated I get when I’m reading a novel, someone insults the heroine, and she just stands there. I’m like umm why are you not cursing them out, slapping them or punching them in the face like a normal person would? It feels good to finally see a heroine use violence to beat the crap out of anyone who tries to disrespect her. It was a breath of fresh air. Let’s face it, in real life, no one just walks away when someone is disrespecting them. I’m from New Jersey, and where I’m from we use our fists to handle pesky little bitches just like Giulia did. When Nyx, our hero, sees how much of a brave badass she is, he can’t help but notice.
Seeing her now back down to the clubwhores makes him aroused. He can’t help but give her longing stairs and always wants to be around her. Nyx thinks he’s too damaged. He’s older. Yup… age gap baby! And it’s hot! She’s 24 and he’s 38. I love that age difference. Nyx has been through a hell of a lot. He is so mentally not ready to settle down and possibly never. Once he meets this feisty little curvy badass, he can’t help but be smitten.
This is totally enemies to lovers, love to hate with bickering and all the feels. I really enjoyed how different this novel is because instead of just using 2 POV’s it used multiple. The secondary characters in the 11-book series make appearances in their own monologues. If at first, you’re unsure about that part, trust me it’s great. It adds to the element of how everyone around Giulia and Nyx notices their intense chemistry.
I recommend this to those who aren’t afraid of a depraved and dirty MC Romance Novel.
Nyx by Serena Akeroyd is the first book in tge Dark and Dirty Sinners series. It is a dark, dirty, and sexy story. Nyx and Giulia are interesting characters and the story kept me engaged.
Nyx
They may dub Nyx as the monster in the making for the way he lived his life but when he met his Queen? It was a wrap, they played around their feelings but at the end they didn’t have a choice, it was worth every sacrifice
Loved this story. It’s definitely dark. Has mentions of horrible things from nyx’s past, horrible action as against Guilia and how depraved a horrendous human being can be towards another. Loved Nyx and honestly applaud his monster and all he has done. Guilia is a spitfire and love how she holds her own, with her sass and attitude. She defends herself against the sweetbutt, her dad and any other who deign to be inappropriate. Loved how she handled her step dad! Haha. Nyx is a dark and hurt man who just needs someone to ground him in ways that settle the dark and monsters clawing their way out. They ground one another loved the story. Can’t wait to find out who Guilia was actually covering for and which sinner saved her. It could be one of her brothers or Sin before he was sent away. I hope they mail that bastards family and all those who would help a monster like Luke.
