From USA Today Bestselling author KL Donn comes Nowhere to Run, book 3 in her military romance series, Task Force 779. Nightmares and monsters are supposed to remain in the dark. Thought of, frightened from, but never seen. Lola Bishop has suffered more tragedy in her short time on this earth than most have in an entire lifetime. She lost her parents when she was young, consoled the members of … her parents when she was young, consoled the members of her brother’s elite team when they thought a member was dead, and finally found her best friend’s body.
How much more could she possibly take?
Theo Burkhart excels at all he tries. Most sought after recon sniper in the Marines, he joined Task Force 779 with his best friend to become a part of something bigger. He wanted to make an impact on the world.
Not fall in love with his commander’s little sister.
When he gets the call that Lola needs him, Theo drops everything to be at her side. She’s strong, yet fragile in so many ways. The girl he’s loved for years is begging to find the good in the world, and he’s only too happy to help.
The only question is, will it be enough when one more obstacle is thrown their way or will Lola crack for good this time?
Just a heads up: While my stories carry their share of violence and adult situations, this one, in particular, touches on some socially prevalent issues that may be upsetting to readers.

5 Star Review Nowhere To Run (Task Force 779 #3) by K L Donn
K L Donn is a relatively new author to me and I have to say I have no idea why that is. Nowhere to Run is a book that will tear your heart out, break it and then put it back together.
Please note, there is a trigger warning at the beginning of this book so I went in with a little trepidation. The author handled the subject with respect and dignity and I appreciated that; you have been warned.
My heart broke for Lola Bishop on numerous occasions and I spent a chunk of this book reading through my tears. I am not going to this it was an emotional roller coaster of a read that I read in one go.
I fell hard and fast for the man that slowly brought her back to life, the man she has been in love with for years, Theo Burkhart . Theo is a man that I would love to have in my life, totally swoon worthy.
As Lola and Theo finally express their true feelings, you cannot help but cheer for them both to get the happily ever after that they both need and deserve.
Although this is the third book in the series, I had no trouble reading this but I will be looking st the other books in the series s soon as possible.
I’m not sure where to begin or what to say. NTR is the epitome of what a book hangover should feel like when you are done reading. Lola and Theo will rip your heart out, tear it to shreds then slowly put all the pieces back together again. It had me either wanting to cry or scream. I beautiful combination of drama, love and soul searching. 5 stars!
Can you here it? Can you see it crumbling? That’s what this book feels like. The wholeness of Lola is a story with in itself. She is a young woman forced to become so much more on the outside than she really is on the inside. Lost and alone she finds that special someone who helps her survive and grow. As her life crumbles and is destroyed all around her he;s there. The beacon she needs to remind her of the strength she has lost. To remind her of who she is. To remind her she is loved. This author makes this a read that you feel from the bottom of your toasty toes to your crusty dusty heart. Lola will wrap herself into your heart so you feel her pain and the depth of her anguish. You will feel his love and how he helps and encourages her healing. You will feel the torment of a brother at a loss and struggling with guilt.
I loved it. I hated it because I shed a tear. As always with this author you experience a wide range of emotions and a read that stays with you long after the last word is read.
Nowhere to Run by K.L. Donn a five-star read that you don’t want to run from. This is number three in the Task Force 779 series and they can be read as stand-alone as each story focuses on a different team member, but they are a team and I have loved them all. My goodness what a ride this story takes you on, I don’t think I have cried in so few pages for a long time, but each emotion this story rung out of me was so strong, I simply adored it. Lola Bishop has always been the little sister, but she breaks out of that mould with aplomb in this story. Theo Burkhart shows us his true side in this story, and what a side he shows us, as well as a family who just bring joy when you read about them. This is an emotional story, but it’s done well and will make you care about everyone in this story, even those you wouldn’t imagine you could feel anything but anger for.
So much tragedy for a 20 year old woman, but she has lots of support. A very serious topic, actually a few topics to deal with in this book and it was beautiful to read. Ms. Donn tackled all the issues with grace and tact. Every situation is different and circumstances change, but it’s how you deal with it that makes you shine. Lola reaches out to the one person she can count on, Theo, her brother’s teammate. Home isn’t necessarily a place, and I also loved the last line in chapter 3, it was amazing and shows you the depth of their devotion. The path in this book is intense, a range of emotions are exposed and you feel them inherently, but it’s also beautiful. You won’t be disappointed.
I received this advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review.
Nowhere To Run is absolutely stunning with every twist and turn. It takes you through the heartache that leads to a magnificent love with every word. Lola shows us that even when you have your darkest moment in life with the right people around you you can find the light of your life. Theo is a man who knows what he wants and once he gets it no matter what he’s holding on for dear life. Such a roller coaster of emotions from the first word to the last. Stunning job KL Donn.
After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.
I am not sure where to start talking about NTR. I have just finished Theo and Lola’s journey and it was an intense ride. This is the second book I have read from this series and I did not feel lost, in my opinion this can be read as a standalone.
There are some heavy topics discussed in NTR along with action, drama and romance which made for an exciting read. Lola is such a sweet character I just so desperately wanted her to find peace. Theo was awesome, the first time he uttered “kitten’ I was sold. Great book that has all the feels and excitement I like to read about.
